I was going to the Joint for relief for the past few years as the pains were more of a nuisance than a major concern, until it wasn't. I developed a problem in the sacrum that left me unable to move around as easily and fulfill my tasks for those who depend on me the most. The Joint visits provided temporary relief, of which I was thankful, but I had gotten to the point where I wouldn't be able to care for the parents if it persisted. I booked an appointment with Tyler Flores, of whom I had known about for years in my neighborhood. They got me in on Memorial Day, and I have since had a follow up a week later. Dr. Flores put me through a battery of physical tests to ascertain the exact issue and made adjustments. I went home feeling hopeful. I started exerting myself in physical tasks the next day and for lack of a better word, I'll use "confidence". I had confidence that I wasn't going to slip right back into discomfort and unrelenting pain to bend and move around. I went back for the follow up and was adjusted again and received exercises to strengthen my core muscles, most especially my glutes. The confidence to carry out my day to day tasks has not diminished in weeks. He has never forced a joint to move or "Pop" He uses so many different techniques he does not need to. I am so glad I found him! He has helped me fight the aging effects and understand how my body works so I can fight my cancer better. Angela is his receptionist, assistant, and all around Jane-of-all-trades. Dr. Maxson is fantastic! He has been my chiropractor for over a year now and my back can tell the affect of his care. Beyond being great at explaining what he is doing and why, Dr. Maxson has an excellent memory and keeps me updated on my progress. He also gives advice on basic things I can do on my own to help care for my back, and his advice has made a big difference! Dr. Maxson and his staff are all personable and caring. I had a death happen in my family and went to an appointment that day. I did not tell Dr. Maxson or Ms. Beth (who is fabulous as well!) about the death but my housemate did (she is also a patient of Dr. Maxson's) later that day. Dr.Derek is an amazing chiropractor, I was referred to his office by some friends ! I had very bad neck problem and back pain that I could not walk .. I went to him and he gave me Relieve from the first visit , I kept going to his office when ever there was an issue now I refer all my friends there. The office is super clean . Dr Maxson was recommended to me by an existing patient who has had great results. I started with him because of a nerve pain in my foot for over a year. I've been to multiple drs who gave me no diagnosis. One dr even said "I've never seen anything like this"... SO encouraging!! Dr Maxson told me up front it could take a while, but he truly believed he could help me. I believe that is because his techniques are totally gentle, but they work. After a year of having to have cold gel pads on my foot to sleep at night, the last 2 nights I didn't!! Dr. Maxson is the best and knows what he is doing! He is very attentive, caring and understanding towards his patients! He gives each patient individualized care! I have had headaches for the past two years, and neck and shoulder pain for the past ten! I have tried several other chiropractors and multiple doctors. None of which were able to help! I had about given up! Dr. Maxson was my last attempt and then I was going to just accept my pain! Fortunately, this time it worked! Dr Maxson is such a great chiropractor! He has truly found his calling. Not only has he helped me and my family (including my four children!) stay healthy but he also helped when I was pregnant. I've had only POSITIVE experiences with Dr. Maxson and his practice since I started seeing him for my back pain. I have been under ongoing chiropractic care since 2006. I found Dr. Maxson through a coworker in 2017 and I'm very happy I did! Part of my overall improvement came when he helped me discover things I did without noticing, that actually aggravated my back pain. This place is amazing! I was suffering for more than 6 months with pain and swelling, after 2 visits the swelling was gone and after the 3 visit the pain was gone also! Before coming here I saw a rheumatologist who put me on medication without knowing what was wrong with me! I am now 33 weeks pregnant with some crazy sciatica and round ligament pain, I still go weekly and get adjusted. I feel great after I leave, having my pain relieved! The person on the phone could not look that info up then so she advised me - we would call you a day before your appointment and we can find this info the . No calls until 4.30 pm the day before, when I called in. The lady says - yes I have not been able to make my calls yet. When I asked about how much I would owe for my visit tomorrow. She says - I can tell you when you come in tomorrow. I said - I like to avoid surprises before my visit. She mentions - we don't have you insurance info here. She proceeds to tell me - she has 2 other patients in the office. So she is not sure if she can get the payment info for me. This is not a good way to make the first impression. Please follow through on what you committed. 1. The insurance info provided at the appointment booking should be saved. 2. Patients should not have to chase the payment info. You should be able to provide atleast an estimate (we understand this info can change) 3. Finally, why would you make it so shady and not be transparent about how much you would be charging. Customers have a right to transparent charges information. I really was looking forward to this and I hope they improve their new customer experience.
