If you are looking for injections or Botox you have found your place. Lyn is amazing! Sometimes when you're getting things done it becomes a bit addictive but she never lets me do too much. Still she has continuously taken me from Cameron Diaz lips to Scarlet Johansson's sexy pout. My wrinkle free skin also thanks her. I mostly get Botox as a preventative and for light wrinkles. I feel like if more people knew how inexpensive it is and how well it works more ladies and gents would be lining up. Bottom line, Lyn always makes me feel gorgeous and confident. Like a previous Yelper, I picked up a Groupon and discovered this place. Ann is a very conscientious (& quick) laser technician. My appointments were always on-time & never took more than about ten minutes, start to finish. The regular price here for laser hair removal is $150 for fifteen minutes of actual laser time. This differs from most other places - where you pay by the area vs. the time spent. With how quick Ann is, I think it's definitely a deal. The building itself is gorgeous, with two floors decorated with framed kimonos and flowers everywhere. There are tons of soft, cushiony chairs and benches to lounge on until your scheduled appointment time. They also have water & tea on the first floor. For those so inclined, it is also a fully certified medical spa (not just laser hair removal) with a full line up of facials, microdermabrasion, face fillers & plumpers and Dr. Maxwell is a renowned plastic surgeon in the area. read more

It was a pleasure to return to Maxwell Aesthetics after first learning of their services when we'd had a condo in town back when our kids were at the university. I made an appointment over the phone with one of the employees, i made the appointment for 2 lip filler syringes, over the phone they said if I buy 2 fillers I can get one for free, due to the march special. So I go into my appointment, Sarah greeted me, everything was going good. She then talks me out of 2 Syringes and into only getting 1, which i was fine with. Then she proceeded to tell me if she was gonna do the 1 syringe on me I'd have to get chin filler? I didn't go for chin filler.. when i declined the chin filler she stated "well then i'm not the tech for you." The manager got involved and she said "we never do 2 syringes" mind you i made the appointment for 2, they have a special for when you buy 2 get 1 free. Unbelievable, would give 0 stars if i could. Dr. Maxwell and her staff are wonderful. I had Rhinoplasty 12 yrs ago and couldn't be happier with her work. My daughter lives in Mesa and I insisted she get her tummy tuck from Dr Maxwell. Steer clear. You won't get more then a few minutes with Dr Maxwell. She doesn't actually care about making you happy. I stressed symmetry and my nose and chin are not symmetrical after I paid her 10k!!! She shaved the right side of my chin down too far so now the left side is pointing out. My nose has a dip in it on June 30 she said we could do an outpatient procedure that she injects fat into the dip and no one has ever called me to make the appt I've called several times and gone down there. Communication is terrible and I'm not happy. I will never refer anyone to her. I am a walking billboard of her work. I was VERY pleasantly surprised by this place. It is more of a plastic surgery center than a Laser Hair center but the facilities were gorgeous. All off the personnel were extremely polite and courteous and I felt like the equipment seemed to be the best around. Twice I showed up for surgery and the physician refused to perform it after I was already changed and in bed waiting for a procedure to take place, once even with IV in place. Bother were redos from a prior botched procedure. Delaney who did my microdermabrasion was 15 minutes late and finished at the time supposed to so I got 15 minutes taken away from someone else's tardiness. That was the worst microdermabrasion I have ever had, I have been to the spa and salon in different parts of States. This was not worth my money or time. Quality of service is ok, but the price and service does not equal. If you pay that kind of money, I expect the best from the technician. I think the best microdermabrasion I had was in Alexandria, Virginia. This place looks decent but I did not enjoy it. No, I will not go back again for anything. Both turned out wonderfully- I'm an airbrusher in Orange County so I see naked women all day long, and I have to say that I have the best fake breasts I've ever seen. She needs 20 stars. I am an active duty female 34 who had a tummy tuck and lipo. I just had 2 daughters 13 months apart. My body shape is important for my health, career, and self esteem. I interviewed three surgeons. My last was Dr Maxwell, I knew right away she was for me. I like her fastidiousness and attention to detail. She is the only one in TUCSON, who after 6 hours of being under the knife, REQUIRES YOU TO STAY OVERNIGHT, INCLUDED IN THE PRICE! I booked my surgery the same day as my interview. AND I GOT A GIFT CERTIFICATE TO HER MED SPA FOR $1000.00 included, to pamper myself afterwards I forgot to give her my last minute list, have no fear, she knows what to do & won't screw you up. Want proof, my 26 year old was with me in line at Walgreens, the cashier told me "I had such a nice boyfriend!" I'm 55! Yeah he had a beard on, looking 40, but so did I (look 40) - 7 weeks after I had my, blef, facelift, and full face laser. Oh and did I mention my neck? WOW, she knows her stuff. I went to Lynn for my fist consultation about filler for my lips. I had an idea of what I wanted but was meeting the procedure with trepidation. She was very honest with me about what is possible and what is not. She explained that what I wanted is definitely something that could be done and explained the procedure in detail. After scheduling with Lynn, I came back for my procedure one week later. She remembered exactly what I was looking for and was very calm in preparing me. She explained everything she was doing in detail. I had brought a friend with me to the procedure ... A "support buddy", yet my support buddy was soon the one who needed the support. My friend fainted and collapsed to the floor 1/2 way through after failing to tell us that she is prone to fainting in small spaces. Poor girl. Without skipping a beat, Lynn the Rn set down her tools, and calmly approached my friend. She sat her up, explained to her what had happened once she woke up, and made her feel comfortable. If you want professional, courteous, rewarding experiences I would "run, not walk" from this group of money-eager snobs!! I paid for three syringes of filler for my very shallow frown lines, a little for my jaw areas and for the lines around my lips; also my lips. The procedure was not terribly painful as I was pretty numb but she kept asking me where she should inject next. Now I am a 62 yo lady who had this done two years ago with only two syringes and the injector KNEW EXACTLY where to go; she didn't keep asking me, the patient!! Long story short after three days I could tell she missed areas and over-injected others. So I called and scheduled an appointment. When I arrived I was told that I was an hour late! My day timer is exact , yet they would not admit they had made an error. They knew I was leaving in just a couple days (this was a Friday) to travel back to the Midwest for a few months but insisted they just could not find an opening that day. I was reduced to BEGGING for a few minutes. They finally took me upstairs. The injector I had was not in that day so another one took over, applying the numbing gel. She also felt that the previous work I had done was not quite correct. Then the subject of $$$ came up. I told her I was not willing to pay MORE for a botched job, so she went downstairs to check with the "decision-maker". They both finally returned only to say"unfortunately we just cannot"................... at that I just got up and left. What a joke they pulled in wasting 90 minutes of my already over-crowded day, only to expect me to shell out additional funds to correct their mistakes!! It's hard to believe they have so many positive reviews!!! I have been going to Maxwell Aesthetics for years with awesome results, but I was most impressed with how they have helped my teenage son improve his acne. The staff is so positive and professional and made him feel very comfortable. He was treated with microdermabrasions and extractions along with Obagi Clenziderm MD grade products for acne and PFB roll on. This combination cleared up his acne and now his skin is clear and fresh. He has a lot more confidence and recommends this combo to all his guy friends struggling with acne. A friend told me that although Dr. Maxwell was very erratic in her behavior that she was a great surgeon and a perfectionist. I went for a consult and liked her right away. I scheduled my surgery right away. I was told a few weeks later that I needed to reschedule because the doctor would be out of town. I rescheduled and made it clear that I was flexible and could wait until January if it would be easier because they seemed stressed about finding a date. The girl acted like she was doing me a favor. At that time I considered canceling but figured I shouldn't judge the doctor by her employee. However when I called in a week or so later to talk about the details of my surgery the woman I spoke with let me know that the doctor wanted to discuss my "options" as far as anesthesia. She offered me two options, keep my date and have an "RN assisted sedation " (no anesthesiologist) or move the date to the 23rd of Dec. I was not really happy with either option. This was the second time my surgery date was being changed. I had my husband call to cancel and get our money reimbursed. They said there would be a fee for using a credit card. They are very disorganized, manipulative (try to talk fast and confuse you about what is really going on), greedy about money, and unprofessional. The doctor may be talented, I don't know because I never got a chance to find out. read more

Dr. G. Maxwell is simply interested in making money. She has ABSOLUTELY no interest in her patients otherwise. I received a consultation for arm liposuction. The consultation was performed by a nurse. I was able to see Dr. Maxwell after I paid a deposit. During our pre-op interview, she never looked me in the eye and said that it was not advisable to perform arm liposuction without adding liposuction around the breasts and shoulders, which increased the tab another $3,000. She was more interested in fidgeting with her cassette recorder, which she brought in the room to record our conversation, than in talking with me. I went ahead with the procedure because I had heard good things about her and really enjoyed the facial and massage services at the facility. What a MISTAKE. I was dissatisfied with the results. When I went for a post-op consult and pointed out the terrible stippling and pulling of my skin, this physician had the audacity to grab my back fat and ask me which was uglier, the stippling, or my fat. Overall, it was a disgusting experience. I waited a year and went to another surgeon in California to fix what she damaged. Buyer beware. You only have one body and I suggest that you do not entrust it to Dr. Maxwell. read more
