When I asked about a revision, Dr. Maloney stated I was not a good candidate, because of the quality of my skin. Why would a Doctor even do the surgery int he first place? This was on a Friday, only be told it's normal wait until Monday. What surgeon, if told their patient had a drastic change with swelling, redness and puss, says several times throughout the day, it's normal just wait until Monday! I went in expecting to go from a GGG to a DD breast reduction and instead was left with an A cup. This was never what I asked for or agreed to. When I contacted his office with concerns after surgery and asked what happened, his response was, "Oh, I guess I took off too much." That statement alone was horrifying. Approximately 14 pounds were removed, leaving me feeling mutilated instead of helped. The outcome was not only emotionally traumatic, but physically damaging as well. One of my areolas was inverted and looks terrible, and my nipples became painfully hypersensitive afterward. These are life-altering complications that have affected my confidence, comfort, and quality of life every single day. Instead of taking responsibility, I was told I had to wait an entire year before they would even discuss correcting the problems. Then after that year passed, he wanted to charge me even more money to put in implants -- something I never wanted in the first place. I went in for a reduction, not to end up needing implants to repair the damage that was done. After already paying $10,000, I was shocked by the lack of accountability, compassion, and professionalism. The scarring is severe, and he has refused to properly correct his mistakes. I trusted this man with my body, and I deeply regret it. This experience has been physically and emotionally devastating, and I would never recommend him to anyone.

This level of professionalism was also seen while interacting with his office staff, including Patricia, Summer and Este! Communication from front desk, the office manager and Dr. Rao himself is exceptional! My results are incredible! I never could have imagined my "mommy make-over" looking this GOOD! Even with a history of breastfeeding two kids, my breasts are perky and the perfect size! Incisions are barely visible on my breasts and around the nipple. My abdominal scar is more noticeable but can be completely hidden beneath underwear or a swimsuit. I will continue to use scar tape to help the color fade over time. I went from a size 14 in jeans to a size 8. My belly went from fupa to flat and the 360 lipo helped create perfect curves! As expected, the first week involved lots of resting and small movements (with the help of my cheese pillow and a walker). Pain was manageable with RX pain meds in the beginning and then strictly Tylenol through week 4. Post-surgery, Dr. Rao would call and check in with my husband and I to be sure things were on track and I was recovering well. I am entering week 14 and my healing process continues to be going great! I had one small tear at the "T" point beneath my right breast. Dr. Rao monitored the area closely, coached me in how to change the dressing, answered all my questions and assured me it would close without needing additional sutures. All of this was true, the tear closed weeks ago, there was never any pain associated with it and there is zero additional scarring in the area. Aside from being a very common place for a tear due to pressure, I have small children and am very active. I think this may have played a role in creating the tear. I am ecstatic about my results and I am so grateful I chose Dr. Rao as my surgeon! I would recommend him and his staff over and over to others.
