I need to lower my prior rating to a 1 star because the -10 star is unavailable. Less than a year after installation of our new carpet by May River, a 20' seam is coming undone. When I contacted and spoke to the owner, "Robie", he asked me to send him pictures, which I did. He said that he would get back to me. No response from Robbie to date. I followed up with him and he is still hiding behind his phone and has done nothing to fix his improper installation. Buyer beware...If you are having tile flooring installed, I would not recommend May River Flooring. We had problems with a master bath remodel right from the beginning. The 1st plumber didn't know what they were doing, wrong floor drain for stand alone tub, incorrect water lines run and re-cemented into the slab floor. Then the tile install, the tiles (General Ceramics - 12"x24" were warped. They didn't check the tiles until the job was almost complete and then stated they should have recommended a different offset. When addressing the issue with the owner Robbie, he kept making excuses for each issue. Poor management, no customer service and terrible communication on the job. Sold a great job up front, but failed to deliver. Buyer beware, you have been warned, and I'm not the only one!!! After Robbie, the owner, read this review, I got a text message from him the next day. "Wow Nice thanks. For the review. U jerk" I responded with; "Wow is right. This is not what I would call a professional customer service response. How about asking for suggestions on how we can do better. All through our interactions, you always tried to come up with and excuse and redirect. Take accountability and remedy shortcomings from this job." read more

I am very disappointed with May River Flooring. Visited the showroom and set up an appointment for measurements in early April 2022. They came out and measured but I never received the estimate. Called twice and told they would be in touch. Three weeks later NOTHING! Took my business elsewhere! I do not recommend use of May River Flooring. read more

I cannot say enough amazing things about May River Flooring. A local business put down LVP in my home, and they did a terrible job; planks were uneven or popped up within a month! No other company wanted to come in and " clean up someone else's mess." I was devastated. Robby and his crew swooped in to rescue us. They didn't just fix my floor, they did it beautifully. The crew from May River Flooring was kind, courteous, and helpful. They made certain that our floor was repaired, cleaned up every bit of dust and dirt, and even suggested some improvements that made the room look even better. I look at my floor now with pride, and I remember a company that saw a problem and a very sad homeowner and found a way to solve the problem. May River Flooring is the best around for new carpets and installation, we recently needed to get carpets replaced in the master bedroom and living room, We first stopped by the store to look at their stock and options, and Ally was a pleasure to work with and very helpful in helping us pick out what carpeting we wanted to put in place, even getting us some samples to look at in our home. The crew that came out to do the work was amazing, moving out all the furniture and everything in the rooms to do the installation. They were able to install the new carpet in both rooms and put everything back in place flawlessly in one day.
