Absolutely beautiful spot next to one of my favorite local cafes. Excellent setup. Small businesses are some of the best to love around here. Beautiful products as gifts, such as necklaces, books, hats, cultural crafts, handmade gifts, unique jewelry, locks, bags, pouches, art, souvenirs, etc. Great value. Good service next door. Views are spectacular inside and outside. Small narrow space, but perfect for a unique gift shop. Decent value. Shop ends at the stairwell in back. Highly decorated at every shelf and angle. I really liked all the colorful items and designs I see. There's definitely variety here, especially if you want to buy a specific gift for someone. Next door is also an art gallery boutique. Beautiful place with beautiful vibes. Must love. I like browsing around the store whenever I'm waiting for my coffee and pastries or breakfast sandwich next door. Friendly and welcoming environment with lots of great things to see. I will definitely revisit in future. read more

Loved it!!! Maybe you can check this place out, maybe you can't but come back in a few and the opposite choice will be available. I very much enjoyed this little souvenir shop. With all kinds of trinkets from around the world, we were able to find something to appreciate. The owner of the shop was extremely friendly. Not only did he tell us of the journeys his merchandise made to get to Monterrey but he was able to inform us of other souvenir shops in the area. I would definitely make my way here again next time We're in California not just for the treasures but because the customer service was that enjoyable. read more

Probably one of the best experiences I've had visiting this town. The shop looked great from the outside and I mentioned it to a random local I was talking to and he immediately started raving about how wonderful it is and how it's the best shop of it's kind in the area, and even better was the the owner is super open to letting you play and use the sound bowls and gongs and get your "sound bath" on :-). The owner travels and personally finds the use puedes with artisans internationally. We went in and yep, the owner even suggested we try out the bowls. So we did. For like 40 minutes and he was super super nice and even did it on us. More people came in the shop and he was so inviting and kind to everyone. Some of the greatest little pieces in there and it is nicely priced. I can't wait to stop by there again before I leave to buy a few pieces I want to get as gifts. The Kali figurine is still on my mind. Gotta grab it! :-) read more

Finally a truly "local,family owned" import shop. Maya and her family live in the Monterey Bay, but are originally from Nepal. Maya travels to Nepal and hand-picks her inventory from the local craftspeople, then has it sent back to the states. It is very affordable for handmade imported crafts. They have a great selection of incense, and it always smells great in here! When you visit the shop you always get a very personal and intimate experience. There is a story behind every object for sale and otherwise, so if something speaks to you, ask them about it. My partner and I are after the perfect singing bowl, and they give us as much time to find it, we still haven't made the commitment, yet we keep coming back to try different bowls. Today Maya let my 6 month old stand in their largest bowl and played it for him. I won't go anywhere else for gift shopping, especially when everything comes with a story! So happy that we stumbled into this shop. It has some really cool stuff from around the world. But it is the beautiful spirits of the people that make this place sing. My 6 year old son, Theo, and I spent about an hour there. Maya was so wonderful with him. My son was complaining about being tired from all the playing at the park. She offered him some water and a banana. She answered all his questions about all the masks. She showed him and another kiddo all the singing bowls and drums and let them try them all out and experiment with them. I am excited to go back next time to hear about her travels. read more

I really like this shop. It's an authentic Nepalese import store that is family owned and operated. We've met the siblings that manage the shop and they are super friendly. It always smells of amazing incense in here and it's the perfect place to go gift hunting with items in every price range. The store used square reader, so if you have an email account you get your receipts emailed which is kind of cool. Highly recommended. read more
