The delivery driver visited the site prior to delivery on the day they were delivering. They checked the ground conditions since it had previously rained 2 days prior. The delivery driver then stated that the ground is good to deliver the shed. They came back with the shed, dragged it across the road, leaving marks on the road then proceeded to destroy my yard and my lawn. I even questioned the driver prior to his attempt, as I was very concerned about the yard and about it possibly still being too wet. The driver assured me he could do it, the driver also stated that it had to be done that day or it would be 2 months until he could attempt again. When the driver was using his "mule" as they call the power equipment to drag the shed, I asked him to use the wheels on the back of the shed so it would not drag and would not leave damage. He said it would be fine, which surprised me since to their delivery driver damage is "fine." After telling him to stop and just leave with the shed after he destroyed our lawn we called the secure shed in Knoxville and they assured me the corporate office would have someone take care of the damages, instead they told us it was "our problem" and sent us a refund check minus $150 for their delivery drivers lies. Do not buy a shed from Secure Storage Sheds or one of their locations. They will damage your property and lie to you. They are dishonest and deceitful.

In August of 2024 I went to CMC in Athens, TN to purchase a green house. I asked if I could get it…read morein wood. I was told yes. The ladies in the office didn't discuss options except the paint witch I asked about. They struggled with their computer system. I was told the green house would be here in 2 weeks. 2 weeks passed, no greenhouse. Wes said it's 4 weeks. It took 5.5 week. While waiting, I also purchased a chicken coop which was called a shed in my contract because they didn't know how to write a contract for a chicken coop. They made it clear to bring cash for the deposit so I did. They did not know how to do a cash transaction in their computer system so I had to go home and get my check book. The greenhouse took 3 delivery dates. When no one showed up, I called Wes. He said he has 30 buildings to deliver and asked if he could deliver a different day. Delivery day 2, no one showed up. I called Wes and he said he sent his son to see they can get the building up to me. A while later, the son shows up. As I was showing him where I wanted the greenhouse, I mentioned putting it on bricks like my other buildings were. He said "We can do that" but no mention of me supplying the bricks. Delivery day 3, the green house shows up in metal. I decided to keep it because it took so long and I had to get plants in it. Wes puts it directly on the ground (The stickers left on the wood say it's treated wood but not for direct contact with the ground) and levels it with random branches. When I said something to Wes, he said they do not supply bricks. No one told me this. Wes told me if I bought bricks he would come back and put it on them. The greenhouse literally moved while I was in it. Wes came back with bricks the day I wrote the review about this. He was upset about the review. When I called the office to complain, I got the same girl that told me the greenhouse can come in wood and wrote my contract. I told her he put it on branches, she said "No he didn't". I said it moved while I was in it, she said "No it didn't" When I said I wanted wood and not metal, she said "First of all, they can't make them in wood" and proceeded to talk disrespectfully to me. I would have more respect for her if she just admitted she just learned they couldn't come in wood and apologized. A few weeks later the chicken coop arrives. Wes scratched it all up with the machine that takes it off the truck and said he would send his wife to fix the paint. I texted Wes to let him know the paint on the metal was scratched up too and to bring metal paint. When they arrived, I went out to greet them. I tried to show them where the scratches were and got snapped at by the wife, "I know what I'm doing!" She used the wood pain on the metal. I texted Wes again and asked when someone can come out to fix the paint. He refused. I also asked if I could by touch up paint because the coop had a bunch of spots they missed when they built it. He said no. When it rained the coop leaked rain water from wall to wall. While I'm dealing with the chicken coop and putting off getting chickens, I noticed that everywhere there is a screw or nail, the wood was splitting on the greenhouse. These splits got bigger over time, even the supporting beams were splitting, the counter, everywhere. It got to the point that I was not safe being in there. I had it full of plants (I'm a nursery and I grow most of my own food) and was very anxious taking these plants out of a green house whose wood was splitting every where.I lost a lot of my plants costing my business a few thousand dollars. I got a hold of Wes and told him I needed to exchange the building He told me he no longer carries either of those buildings and to contact SmartPay. He's since then added 3 more chicken coops and another greenhouse to his inventory that I've seen driving by. At first SmartPay wanted to come get the buildings but not refund me. It took some going back and forth and insisting I get things in writing the proper way. I did get a full refund. I lost most of my winter crop due to this which now costs my business thousands of dollars and more than doubled my grocery bill all winter. I do not recommend this business to anyone. This season is going to be tough as I'm already a few thousand dollars behind due to this. There are other building companies on the same street, Timberline and Athens Barn Center have treated me amazing well and their products are well built. They treat their customers like they care and address any issues that come up with professionalism. When I call them I know I'm calling a business. They make sure the customer knows their responsibilities such as having bricks ready. Timberline supplied them, Athens Barn Center made sure I knew to buy bricks and gave me paper showing which ones to buy...BEFORE the building gets here.
