But the menu said "giant patties" and I was happy to support a local burger. Hopped over here after a few adult beverages at Cypress & Grove and got the nassau chicken but vegetarian version (vegan version available - as they season with that good buttah). The sandwich came on Texas toast and I believe the protein was subbed with tempeh which was A-MAZING, wonderfully seasoned. It then had some veggies on there, this dreamy curry aioli and some type of great slaw. One sandwich was filling so didn't even need a side. The sandy was $8, so not terrible. It did take a while to come out - probably 35 mins total of putting in the order and getting it but there was also one man there operating the truck. I do wish they had a few more options as that was the really the only vegetarian selection, and there were five sandwich and/or salad options. Had them at Swamphead Brewery and nothing complements great beer than some great home made sausages. Got their Smoked Hawaiian Chicken along with their Brocchili Salads. It was so good and they cook your sausage when you order it which is amazing. It was so good and hit so many spots. read more

So I was over at Swamp Head on Thursday night and my tummy got a rumbling for something to eat. Thankfully Mayflower Cellars was there to satisfy my stomachs needs. I ended up getting a hot sausage and I'm making a bold statement, best hot sausage I have ever had in my life, drop the mic! The sausage was made to order over a gas grille and had so much juice and flavor! The meat was cooked perfectly by the chef and has a lot of flavorful spices in it to give that little punch of heat you look for! The sausage was not greasy or fatty but flavorful and just darn good! They Toast the bun for you too! It is $8 for the hot sausage, a little high but okay because of the freshness. I was talking to the chef and he said all products are locally sourced and locally made. He said they make all meats in house and a store front should be coming soon. They are at the farmers market at Bo Diddley Plaza on Wednesday's, breweries other days of the week but you can find them on social media! Try it and you will love it! read more

Obsessed. Got their vegetarian sandwich when they were at Cypress & Grove. Mind you, I'm not vegetarian, but it came with a curry aioli and I was SOLD. The tempeh was almost meaty; it was rich and flavorful & made me forget I wasn't eating meat. The curry aioli had lots of depth but really blended well with the sandwich. The veggie slaw gave some variety of texture, and the portion was excellent for $8. I really hope they continue to park at places where I'm at, because I want this sandwich every day. read more

We received a menu to our work in GAINESVILLE from them, it included "tenders and fries $8.00" - NOWHERE on the menu supplied did it state "kids". The 4 of us were going to order from the truck, and saw the tenders and fries listed under "Kids menu" Upon trying to order this, we were refused service and the man stated they had a "strict policy of not serving any kids menu items to adults, that you had to be 12 or under" By the way, it did NOT say that policy on the menu itself. Really?? for a kids menu, the price was still $8.00, and we were willing to pay. We wasted 10 minutes of our lunch waiting in line only to be refused service. We did not want any other items from the truck. Absolutely ridiculous....poor service... poor attitude...and obviously does not care that he lost at least $32.00 in sales in less than 30 seconds after he opened his mouth. read more

We were at Swamp Head Brewery where we tried out Mayflower Cellars for the first time. The food was very good but the total came to $20 for two people and it wasn't even a full meal. We also felt the customer service was sub par. Instead of being attentive and greeting customers when they come up to the table he was distracted with his phone both times I came up to order and when I came up to pick up my food. They sell home made sausages at Infinity Aleworks in Ocala on Fridays, and at Swamphead brewery. The sausages are all home made, and are excellent! Among the best I've ever had. They also have cookies and dog treats. They will (hopefully) sell wine soon too. The service was very good, friendly and helpful. We had the bratwurst. It was lean, spicy, and very flavorful.
