I recommend the lunch special it's a (2 sliced) chicken salad sandwich (white or wheat bread ) it comes with chips of your choice, a drink, and a choice of a cookie or donut and a pickle. This place is very decent it is an older building but they keep it in good shape it's pretty decent to dine in. For people who want to get full whenever you eat at places I definitely recommend this place the sandwiches are quite thick and filled with chicken salad but it's very good and filling it honestly makes the sandwiches better. I wanna say the price is 5 or 6 dollars but I could be wrong but the price is cheap but good for what you get if you're on a budget or just want something for a decent price. For drinks I recommend y'all getting the drinks in the fridge they let u pick a soda just incase y'all don't want y'all's soda a bit watery but I honestly don't mind it's just the fountain. The staff is so kind and professional I think they also own donut wheel across the street and it's very good as well! I love there donuts not all donut places are good but this place is top tier! Wow! Do yourself a favor and head over to this bakery! When you walk in the smell of donuts was delectable! It had a fresh,clean smell. The lady at the counter was super nice and very helpful. Their chicken salad is wonderful. The sandwich is packed full. It was a great lunch. They have a fountain drink machine where you get your own refills. There is not a lot of indoor seating, after all it is a bakery. The staff was prompt and friendly. They have a very tempting array of baked goodies. Come for the lunch, stay for the goodies! I saw something at this bakery that I hadn't seen since I was a child: huge chunks of apple sticking out of an apple fritter! When I saw those chunks of apple I knew the group lunch I was supposed to have in an hour was not going to matter! This variety of baked delight is pretty much extinct in Houston-area donut shops as well as those in other major cities! And it was HUGE to boot! And only a buck!? My husband and I shared this delicious relic while enjoying the views of wildflowers and the art decorating the walls of Huntsville.
