My review would be to not hire this company and if you're truly considering this company, please…read moreread all the way through. -My grandparents hired this company based on the recommendation from a neighbor of theirs, as we were moving them from Yuma, AZ to Tucson, AZ. Three individuals showed up to help pack the house and moving truck, but we only had an issue with one of them for the most part. -The tall guy that is supposedly the owners son made rude and condescending comments from the get go about my grandparents belongings and how they hadn't packed anything. Mind you they are in their 80's & 90's with health issues and we had only arrived the day before to help pack things. -The tall guy at one point became irritated that he couldn't figure out how to stack items in the moving truck, so my husband had to take over to insure that items fit and were not broken. The guy actually said we needed about 50 more moving blankets so each item could be covered ‍ that proved to be untrue. -At one point the tall guy became very upset that a heavy item needed to be removed from the truck that had been put in too early, he then proceeded to start cursing and tossing items out of the way, like my grandfathers air compressor. It was at this point that I asked him if he would like us to do it for him, his response was (and I quote) while yelling "I'd love for you guys to do this but your HUSBAND said I need to do it." I replied "you mean do the work you're being paid to do??" And then all hell broke loose with him cursing up a storm (yes I did reply with my own profanity because at this point I was done with him and his disrespect towards my grandparents and their belongings). His last reply was "I don't want money from any of you motherf*ckers!" And they left. The other two workers I never heard make any comments. -After arriving in Tucson and getting the truck unloaded and starting to unpack the house, my grandparents realized that they were missing cash out of a silver cash box that my grandmother used for yard sales. The 1's and 5's were left and the larger bills that had been underneath were gone. In total almost $200 was missing, this box had been in their main closet and clearly we did not get to it in time. Which explains why the tall guy screamed that he didn't want any money from us. - My main takeaway from this is 1) Don't hire this company unless it's a small easy job where physical labor is not required. 2) Don't hire this company if you want your elderly family members to be respected. 3) If you would like to keep either your money or belongings, don't hire this company. I am so disgusted with how my grandparents and their belongings were treated. 10/10 would not recommend.

You made things right and did so within the time frame I needed. Please let Andrew and Jesse know that without them and their willingness to put up with me and all of my last-minute changes didn't go unnoticed, those young men were patient, kind, and respectful the entire move I will definitely tell all my friends and family to call MEATHEAD MOVERS, no matter how big or small the move is, you have the team to get the job done in a timely, cost-effective manner!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS I hired them expecting professional…read moreservice, but what I got was a complete breakdown in logistics and a total lack of respect for my property. Save yourself the headache and go with a different company... that is unless you love broken furniture and terrible/non-existent customer service! The company showed up understaffed with fewer workers than we'd contractually agreed to. They didn't send the number of workers promised, which made the entire process slow, disorganized, and ultimately dangerous for my belongings. From the moment they showed up we contacted the company to address the concerns, but given we had everything scheduled logistically to be gone from our house that day, we had no option but to move forward with the smaller worker crew that showed up. Long story short, we wasted twice as long as it should have taken to get everything done due to the lack of movers. And in the process, they managed to completely break some brand new furniture in the process. It was broken so badly that they just threw it away. BUT THE WORST PART IS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE: The "screw-ups" during the move were bad enough, but the aftermath has been even worse. Trying to resolve the damage and the contract breach has been a nightmare. Their customer service is dismissive and completely unwilling to take accountability for their failures. Even today, they were supposed to connect me with their claims manager (after about 5 phone calls and 5 emails), yet failed to do so as they said they would. It's clear they care more about booking jobs than actually fulfilling their contractual obligations or protecting your home. I've had to spend my own time drafting emails and fighting just to get a response regarding the property they destroyed. Do not believe the hype. They are understaffed, they break your furniture, and they will leave you hanging when it comes time to make it right. STAY AWAY.

During the move, her TV was damaged and now only displays a white screen when powered on. In addition, the entire top surface of an antique dresser was scratched. When I contacted Ryan to report the damage and request insurance information, I was initially told the items were already in that condition. After further discussion, it became clear that there was no valid insurance coverage provided for the move. The following day, several gold necklaces belonging to my grandmother could not be located. I reached out again to report the missing items, but my calls were not returned and my number was blocked. I recommend that anyone considering this company take extra precautions: * Confirm active insurance coverage in writing before booking * Document the condition of all items before the move * Ensure a clear, written agreement is in place This was a difficult situation, especially given my grandmother's age, and I hope others can avoid a similar experience.

I contacted Ryan and his team on Monday, and he came to our home the very next day for a walkthrough to discuss all the details. He was incredibly helpful, accommodating our tight timeline and providing very reasonable pricing. His communication throughout the week was clear and consistent, and he even shared helpful moving tips that made a big difference. On moving day, Ryan and his team did a fantastic job. I was completely overwhelmed by the amount of belongings we had and the logistics of such a large move, but they were calm, reassuring, and so professional. They truly made the entire process smooth and stress-free. They handled all the heavy lifting so we could focus on the personal items we wanted to transport ourselves. Because we had to pack in a rush, we didn't do the best job organizing everything, but they came in and secured everything carefully and efficiently. Delivery and unloading at our new home went just as smoothly. I can't say enough about the stress they relieved and the weight they lifted off our shoulders. Ryan and his team were warm, friendly, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Extra Mile Movers as they truly live up to their name and go the extra mile for their customers.

When they unloaded, there were a large number of items that were either scratched or outright broken. We're still looking for some pieces to the furniture like feet and knobs. They had left the hardware to put our master bed back together in the House we're moving from. I had to make Charlie pick them up and bring them to the new house so they could put the bed back together. My wife gave them the check for the remainder of the move and now Charlie won't answer me about compensation for the damaged and broken items. When you pay a 'professional' for a service you expect professionalism but you won't find that here. Save yourself some money and just hire some labor to load and unload your own truck. You'll get the same results for significantly less cost. This company will disappoint you. The guys that loaded were nice enough and worked hard but they're not professional movers.
