***Fraudulent unsafe work that resulted in my car getting totaled a year later*** February 24, 2025 I got rear ended at a red light on my way to work. The other driver was uninsured. I took my car to a Geico partnered body shop, Grigg's Auto Body, because Geico offers a lifetime warranty if the repairs are not satisfactory. The original estimate was 1-month of work and $6k of damage. I argued with the Geico Adjuster, Rudy, that my car should be totaled because my c-pillar was buckled--indicating extensive damage. I was surprised Geico didn't want to total my car at that time. Once my car was at Grigg's, it went from 1-month repairs to two months and my car still wasn't finished being worked on by Grigg's. I reached the maximum amount that Geico would pay for my rental car so I paid a month out of pocket for my rental car that totaled to $1,300. On April 24, 2025 I told Grigg's and Rudy the adjuster I can't keep paying for the rental car and asked what else needed to be done to my car. Grigg's then said, "oh well it's drivable, we are just missing the Subaru and STI badges on the back." They also installed a not working back up light (some of the LEDs weren't working) and they misplaced a floor mat of mine. So I took pictures of everything reported that to them and Grigg's promised to order those items. However, David at Grigg's tried to argue they don't need to give me a working 4th brake light/reverse light because it was aftermarket and tried to claim that insurance wouldn't cover that when they already installed an aftermarket exhaust that was previously on there. I asked if my car had an alignment done yet and they said no, and stated they would meet me at an alignment shop (Ed Whitehead's was what was suggested by Grigg's) and they would bring a check and pay for it. That never happened. Two more months go by, June 2025, and I reach out asking for those missing items. Grigg's scheduled an appointment with me on June 19th at 9am. I dropped off my car then and six hours later I call back about an update. "Oh I've been trying to call you, my dad ordered the wrong light and we don't have the floor mats yet." Four months of trying to get my car fixed and finished. I called Geico and expressed how upset I was. I threatened a lawyer then and suddenly things were expedited shipping and I asked for photo proof before dropping my car off again. The following week my car mysteriously had zero oil in it which triggered the check engine light and several codes. I got an oil change prior to the accident and regularly check it. It had oil before the accident occurred and my car was only in the hands of Grigg's body shop. I had not taken it to any other shop afterwards at this point. When I brought this to Grigg's attention they only said, "Omgg okay Don't worry good thing you caught it haha." After I put oil in my car it never had another issue since. I do not trust Grigg's Auto Body. On July 1, 2025 Grigg's completed the final missing/broken items, but I refused to let them drive my car to an alignment shop at this point. Fast forward: On November 11, I was driving at night and was passing a tracker trailer when I came upon a huge blown out tire crossing the left lane into the right lane. I swerved left as much as I could without going off the road and it hit my front end cracking the front right bumper. I submitted the claim online and noticed Grigg's was still on Geico's site, but went to with their other partnered body shop called Gerber Collision. Gerber offered to check the work of the old body shop and I agreed because I was unhappy with the trunk bouncing back up when I attempted to close it indicating it wasn't aligned properly and the noise level from the exhaust and rain noise was much louder; almost like there was a hole or something wasn't patched properly. Gerber Collision found fraudulent work done by Grigg's. Grigg's stated in the invoice that they ordered a new metal trunk bed and welded that on. It was still the original damaged one they smoothed out and put bondo over it. Several spots of rusting already occurred and water was standing in the base of my trunk. Gerber Collision also found that Grigg's left a hammer wedged in between metal work under my car. Grigg's only paid for my rental car from April 2025. I still haven't received payment for the newest rental car that I had when Gerber discovered fraudulent and unsafe work done by Grigg's. My car was deemed a total loss by Geico on January 25, 2026 after driving with unsafe work for 10 months. Geico stated Grigg's will be paying them back for the fraudulent work. However, I'm the one who lost my dream car that Subaru does not produce anymore (2020 STI). I was promised a lifetime warranty for the repairs and if the repairs would've been done correctly the first time I would still have my car and not waste money on rental and buying another car. read more

Simply put, they said it would be a 4 day job, it took 25 days, I was told after two weeks of my truck being there, that the truck was painted and looks real good, went to see my truck, it was in the overcrowded lot hood off and just like I had taken it there. I was told another week, I was told to return on Saturday at 9:30 a.m I went no one was there closed on weekend, another lady was there with a baby, she had been told to be there also. the worst service ever, liars then play it off like " I don't know who you spoke with." will never go or recommend Griggs to anyone. read more

We are from Canada & unfortunately were in need of a new front bumper. With the present exchange rate the repair would have cost considerably more. When we met with Jesus, he quoted us a price & recognizing the exchange rate, made these repairs much less painful. The colour match of the bumper matched the rest of the vehicle perfectly! Best customer service! Excellent workmanship. A truck backed into me and caused some slight damage, enough that I knew I needed to get it repaired asap. I went in for a small non-dent body issue on my car thinking I would need an appointment made for sometime in the future. Imagine my surprise when the lady receptionist came out, got down on her knees on the pavement, looked at the issue and said "drive it around, we can fix that right now". They not only spent 30 minutes fixing the problem good as new, but said there would be "no charge". I happily paid for 1/2 hr labor anyway to show my appreciation but Grigg's will have my business if I ever need autobody repair. read more

Absolutely great experience working with Griggs. Recently we got hit in a parking lot and had to use the other parties insurance to get things repaired. So we had to anticipate dealing with the hassles of finding time to get estimates and the phone tag of coordinating with body shop, insurance adjuster, and car rental. Here's what I want you to know! Griggs did all the coordinating and phone callin', and picture takin', and emailin' for me. We arrive, and the front desk staff are friendly and top notch professional. Laura and later Fernando, made all our dealings with Griggs 5 Star. Great communication; keeping me updated from estimate to pick up. Laura made phone calls for me to insurance company, made sure we got a Lyft ride to the Car Rental place .... They worked out all the particulars after estimate and during the repair. Calls were made to the Insurance company and car rental regarding completion of work so everybody was in sync for rental return and pick up of my vehicle when completed. So here's the verdict: Griggs turned the "hassle" of getting my car fixed into a delightful/professional "walk in the park". Top notch - friendly, - respectful, - hard working, and - accommodating. Vehicle Repair was fantastic, puts me back in a clean, shiny, straight ride. Not my first vehicle repair with Griggs. We have been in a few fender benders over the years in different vehicles. I never expected to find such a friendly, hardworking group of people as those I found at Grigg's. Within moments of meeting Tammy and getting an estimate, she came from behind the counter to give me a hug and chat about living in Yuma. Did a great job on my car and treated me like a VIP the whole way through. They also took care of talking to my insurance company once I'd gotten the initial estimate. They kept me updated during the whole process (I've never had a car repair place call me to tell me how my car is coming along before) and Judy was so friendly. Just got back from Grigg's, having a new door handle put on. They were the best staff and so friendly, and charged just what the estimate was, and I felt thoroughly like I was very important to them even though my work being done was just a minor item.
