I damaged the roof edge on my new home by hitting it with my motorhome. I went to their office and explained the problem, and their man was there a couple of days later to look at it. The estimate they gave me was only $225 or so, and I knew they had to replace at least 12 edge tiles plus the drip-edge. I told them to go ahead with the repair, paid for it upfront, and left town in our motorhome for a week. When we returned, the job was done. I was really impressed! The team at Lines & Lundgreen in Yuma, AZ are very unprofessional. Just read the negative reviews--they tell a consistent story. Instead of acknowledging mistakes, taking accountability, or working toward a resolution, the response seems to be defensiveness and intimidation. When I mentioned that I intended to post a negative review, I felt they tried to scare me out of posting it rather than address my concerns. That response spoke louder than anything else. Our Santa Fe style home was built 4 years ago and I recently went up to look at the roof after the latest rains and was appalled to see what our roof looked like. There are places where the roofing material has cracked, was not applied correctly and other areas where there is exposed wood with no roofing material. Kevin came out and looked at it, was very evasive, and asked what we wanted done. I'd have thought the roofing expert could see the problems to fix. He later said it looked fine and to contact our builder. If my roof looks fine, this shows their level of work. Stay clear of this company!!!! read more

I own a new home in Desert Sands, Yuma,Arizona. Like all new homes you have different subcontractors and when you have issues, chasing down the responsible party is a pain in the ass. During the recent storms I developed a water leak. I was pissed as you can imagine. I called Lines and Lundgreen and they found the problem right away. The air-conditioning subcontractors had left the electric lines unsealed, breaker box open and scrap wire on my roof. Thier man Kevin Tunell not only showed me pictures of the problem,then went on to seal the electrical conduit. Now mind you this is after the adjuster for the insurance company had came by and inspected it. The insurance adjuster only would tell me that I would get his report. Absolutely Horrible. Go elsewhere. In summer of 2023 I sought quotes from Roofing companies to redo the roof on my house. I accepted the quote of Lines & Lundgreen even though it was the second highest, but based on 1) the fact I went to high school with some of the family members, 2) their sales pitch, 3) and the company is now ran by a local politician. That should have been the red flag, but it wasn't. I was misguided and their ill-performance was costly. On September 15, 2023 I submitted payment for 50% of project's cost, $15,260. I was told they were "a little behind but would get started in the upcoming week or so" and the owner, Jonathan would talk to me before starting. Let me explain how "or so" is defined by Lines & Lundgreen. September went by. October 2023 goes by. Nothing. November 2023 and still nothing. On 11-18 we get a decent rain and my roof starts to leak. I reach out, answer, "we are still a little behind but expect to get started this month." December 2023. Nothing. January 21/22, 2024 rains so hard, I now have leaks in 7 areas. The drywall starts to fall inside the home, insulation comes down. Contact L&L. Answer, "we are so sorry" February 2024. Another half-inch of rains, I have buckets all inside my house, NOTHING from L&L. Coming up to HALF A YEAR of excuses, stories, sorries but zero results. All this time, they have almost $8,000 of my money earning them interest, while my expenses on home repairs increase. March 2024. I contact Arizona Registrar of Contractors, other vendors, and start to make a fuzz. L&L starts to make more excuses. At this time, I go to hire Almodova Roofing who is ready to start in 7 days. L&L, so secure the job with a mechanics'' lien on my home, finally show up, 15 minutes before Almodova's first day to start the job but inadequate staff and materials. On my Ring Cameras, you can hear their foreman venting on how the employees he was sent did not know what they were doing and he had to restart the job to fix their mistakes. Days and weeks go by. More and more excuses. Finally, they claim to finish the roof but it is not. Instead, they send me an invoice for $7,980 and another quote for $2,100 to finish the job. I finally did what I should have done SEVEN (7) months ago, hire someone else. On a Tuesday, I retain another roofing contractor who finishes the job that same week, Friday by 1pm for $1,000. I told all my neighbors and friends already, do not go to Lines and Lundgreen. I am telling you too, save your aggravation and go elsewhere. read more

Had some issues with our home's roof and called Lines & Lundgreen for assistance. They are a busy company but were able to schedule an appointment for the next day. The team was absolutely wonderful, they thoroughly checked the area concerned and found that the contractor who originally built my roof had not placed the tiles correctly. The L&L team fixed it properly and then walked around the entire house to inspect the remaining roof tiles and put those back into place as well. Excellent team and super professional, even in the Yuma heat. In all, the L&L folks were there for less than an hour and now my 1998 roof looks good and the tiles and tightly fastened. I was pleasantly surprised at the value for the house-call, it did not break the bank. L&L are locally owned and easy to work with. I highly recommend checking them out for your roof repairs. read more

This company did a complete roof for us 9 years ago and when I called today with questions on some perceived shingle damage their response was quick and professional. A tech was on site within a few hours of my call and he resolved my concerns after a short inspection. My faith in Lines & Lundgreen to install quality product and maintain it is unshaken. read more

Another company with better reviews was less but he didn't want to do the bird stop, and after calling back 4 times over a period of 3 to 4 weeks, my tiles were going to fall, I gave up. Horrible experience. Failed to detect hole in roof of my house despite my pointing out area, thus failing to fix leak. Result was that during the next rainstorm--after they had supposedly fixed the problem----my house suffered significant additional damage, requiring me to have damaged interior paint and drywall repaired. Is this company for real? I left a msg on their voicemail to ask for someone to please call me back regarding a roof leak on a shingle roof...that I would like an estimate. A few days later I received a call that went to my voice mail, informing me to call them back that they had my quote. What?? How could they have my quote when I never even got to explain the nature of the leak, nada!? I did not call them back since it seemed weird that they already had my quote....I thought, nah. So just now I got in the mail the actual quote...it was for $6,138.00 (plywood, vents, scuppers and clay pipes extra charge). Apparently someone came by without telling me or knocking or calling...the estimate spoke about the exact configuration of my driveway overhang, etc...so it seemed like they came out here...why didn't they call me to say they were coming? Why would they just take it upon themselves to give me a quote for an entire re-roofing? I had "a" leak. Another company ended up actually calling us back and making an actual appointment and actually caming out in person lol. He gave Sal a tip on how he could fix it and that is what we are doing. This company moved years ago to 4th Avenue. They will give you an estimate, verbally, and when you get the bill its 25% higher than the estimate. Get the estimate in writing! The work is good but very expensive. They did adjust my bill back to the original estimate. If you put the street address, on their statement into your GPS, it will not find it. S.
