Reposting because this review is being hidden. Also, it seems they responded 3 years later looking to resolve my issue. LOL. Unfortunately I was very unsatisfied with the performance of Todd Mayo. Of course if I had made better choices in the moment I would not have needed his aid. However, after gleefully swiping my card for $1250 I was assured to be in constant contact with Mr Mayo with any updates regarding my case. This did not happen. Fast forward to the date of my court appearance, I had called Mr Mayo on my way to the courthouse in order to hopefully get more information on what my possible outcomes may be. To my surprise he says "court has been canceled this morning". Now this did not feel right to me so I call the courthouse to confirm. Thankfully I did because the information my lawyer was feeding me was inaccurate. So now my name is being called and my lawyer is over an hour late. Thankfully the judge was feeling generous and pushed my name to the back. As he arrives smile wide on his face, brushes right past me without a word and speaks to the prosecutor. Not before smacking what I would guess another lawyer buddy on the butt as in a good game gesture. Never have I seen such unprofessionalism in a courthouse. After speaking to the prosecutor setting up a plea deal without my presence he comes to me and lays it all out. Plea guilty to three charges that were fabricated to begin with and pay roughly $900 in fines. Unfortunately in the moment I was so distraught by how this whole morning had gone, I agreed. To add insult to injury he then paraded me up to the judge with a false sob story saying I was fired from my job and was in a bad place mentally. I guess in hopes to be more lenient on my payment plan. I was supposed to have ample time with Mr Mayo to discuss my options and prepare myself for any outcome. This was not the case. Mr Mayo was very quick to grab his belongings and head towards his car after the scam he had pulled on me. Hopefully I wasn't too much of an inconvenience to him and his other clients that day. After all is said and done I have now payed over $2000.00 for a plea I would have never taken if under the correct guidance of a lawyer. I was made to look like a fool in a courtroom full of people with my lawyer leading the charge. I urge anyone reading this to seek representation elsewhere. read more

Worst experience ever. If you talk to Bet please for the love of god do not use that firm. I'm surprised she even knows her name. She %100 screwed us during our closing. Crooks! read more

If I can give this place 0 stars I would. I was not kept informed about my case the entire time. Had to constantly call asking for updates. They were not at all friendly towards someone who's never been to court before. Met the lawyer who showed up to represent me 5 minutes before going in front of the judge. Wasn't even one of the 2 lawyers I met at the office. She looked like she just graduated. She did not even prep me or tell me what to expect. Read my settlement so fast I did not even understand or get a chance to read what I was signing before being ushered in. Afterwards, she left the courthouse without saying a word so I had to call office to confirm everything was completed. Lady at office laughed at me and said they were texting and that the lawyer was in a bad mood because the hearing was delayed. It was all very unprofessional. Finally after settlement hearing was complete, I got a chance to read settlement and found out the amount lawyer told me I would get was completely wrong and it was all because she can not do math. Awful experience, take your money somewhere else. read more

I recently had the displeasure of working with Todd Mayo. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of disappointing. The staff were unprofessional and unresponsive, leaving me feeling frustrated and ignored throughout the entire process. Despite paying top dollar for their services, I received little more than lip service and empty promises. To make matters worse, the legal advice provided by the attorneys was subpar at best. It seemed like they were just going through the motions without truly understanding my situation or offering any real solutions. In fact, on several occasions, I found myself questioning whether they even knew what they were doing. Overall, I would strongly advise against using Mayo&Russ unless you enjoy being treated poorly and receiving lackluster results. There are plenty of other options out there that actually know how to handle cases effectively and with respect for their clients. Don't waste your time or money with these clowns. I wanted to share my recent experience with Todd Mayo. Unfortunately, it wasn't positive. To put it bluntly, the level of customer service was appalling. The staff members were rude and dismissive, making me feel like my concerns weren't important to them. Even worse, the legal guidance we received was downright terrible. It was clear that our lawyer hadn't done his due diligence and was simply winging it. In addition to all of this, the billing practices left much to be desired. We were charged exorbitant fees for work that barely scratched the surface of our issues. And when we raised concerns, we were met with indifference and excuses. All told, I wouldn't recommend Mayo&Russ to anyone looking for competent legal representation. If you want a team that cares about your needs and delivers quality work product, look elsewhere. Todd Mayo handled my case in a very efficient and professional manner while I was in a lot of legal trouble. With Todd Mayo's counsel, I was able to relax and know my case was being taken care of properly to ensure I would have the best outcome possible for my legal issues. Dear Todd Mayo, I was extremely disappointed by my recent experience at your law offices. I found the service provided to be lacking both in efficiency and professionalism. My case worker took far too long to respond to messages on my questions. Additionally, their level of expertise left much to be desired - I had hoped they would have known more than just basic facts about the law! Furthermore, the billing practices were unethical and unfairly expensive given the poor quality of work I received; this compounded the already frustrating nature of dealing with them. I urge caution before choosing this firm due to these serious shortcomings which left me feeling disillusioned. read more
