The Mayo Penthouse Bar has a very nice view of the downtown, however, the drinks are very pricey and not that great. The service was good though.

We had my girlfriend's 50th party here at the hotel. The hotel itself was beautiful. We had one of the private rooms and had our own service team that attended to our party. The set up was simple but pretty. We catered the food from the hotel. I ordered the filet mignon and was so excited for dinner but sadly it was a let down. The filet was more like a beef stew and overcooked. Everyone who ordered the filet had the same reaction. This party wasn't cheap so I felt we didn't get what we paid for. They have a rooftop bar and club where we sat in the vip section because of our booking for the birthday. It was a beautiful up there for sure. The hotel was nice aside from the food.

The view was spectacular, the ambiance and vibe when you enter the PH is like stepping Into old Hollywood felt so cool. The bartenders were nice, I don't know why people kept saying they're rude? Then again we got there around 6pm for quick cocktail before a show at BOK. Didn't order food but I kept looking at the menu and it had some pretty good stuff, I will have to go back for the coconut shrimp. We did cocktails and they were delicious hands down. Loved the Tulsa King. Also, if you read the menu you will see they have little historical info on each page of famous names.

I've come to the Mayo Penthouse bar a couple of times and it's never been worth it. It's the most expensive drinks in town, advertising a penthouse view of Tulsa while restricting your view with 6 foot high stone pillars. The food usually comes cold and in minimal portions while also being overpriced. It's fun with friends but the illusion of class is the main offering of the Mayo Penthouse Bar.

This is my go-to place for relaxing and drinks with an amazing view in Tulsa. If you get there around 9 p.m. You will easily get your drinks in a timely manner and before things get pumpin. There is normal a band or a d.j. To keep your shoulders and hips moving. I have actually seen a silent film while a troubadour did his thing. It was a beautiful night. Their selection and skills of cocktails is worth it. They also offer beer and wine. "P" for penthouse.

We hit the penthouse for a sunset happy hour event. The space is rectangular. It has dark wood floors, the lower half of the walls are wood paneling, upper half are painted emerald green, stained glass windows with purple and yellow furniture accentuating the room. Tonight they had a solo artist performing fairly current music. In a place like this you would assume someone would come take your order but we found that isn't the case. We ordered drinks and appetizers at the bar. My interaction with the bartender was less than stellar. Honestly she seemed a little short for the beginning of a shift. We moved past that and sat where we could enjoy the music. They had him stuck between the bar and a half wall making it difficult to actually see him perform but he sounded good. As sunset approached we decide to go out onto the roof top patio. Unfortunately the walls that surround this patio are 5 or 6ish feet tall blocking some great views if you are short. I understand this is for safety purposes. We did end up standing on some chairs to fully enjoy the views. Btw, that is frowned upon. Understandably we were asked to get down. They have a smaller secondary patio off to the side above this one but it was closed. After some time we returned to a seat in the bar. Our food arrived shortly after. The chicken flat bread is served round in a pizza box. It was satisfying. The mushrooms were not. We received 5 sad looking stuffed mushrooms that tasted faintly of dirt. We used all of the dip to cover the taste. I am not sure I will order food again. My bill was a little over $20 for 1 small drink and 1 appetizer. I wouldn't say this is a great happy hour value but it is considerably less than their normal prices and a decent way to try them out for the city views.

Rooftop bar with an ace view of downtown -perfect to celebrate a special occasion or have an excise to put on a dress! Their wine list is lovely. I enjoyed a lovely glass of merlot here (when it was much colder outside) and it just felt special. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. You don't haaavvveee to go outside on the rooftop if you don't want to. Inside, there are nice chairs and couches with groovy tables around to hangout.

Oh yea! Bartenders with an attitude!

1 star for the view. Bartenders not friendly and in my opinion should get out of the business! Drink prices high! I totally get the whole Mayo thing...But...The lights are on and nobodys home!

Really cool place with views of the city. Good drinks at fair prices. Live music was awesome. Crowded on Friday nights. Upscale type crowd.

They call it a "rooftop" bar, but the walls surrounding the views are so tall that you really cannot see anything. Los Angeles wanna-be.

Bar was a bit pricey for my tastes. However you are paying for a very nice view of Tulsa. A nice place to take a date.

Ask the Community - Mayo Penthouse Bar

Is it worth going here if it's too cold to go outside? Are the views still good from inside the bar?

Yes! I think so! Windows all around the bar to see the surrounding downtown scenery (which is mainly other tall buildings). Also the bar and hotel are gorgeous.

Happened to be our 28th wedding anniversary, and didn't have reservations, but were able to be seated immediately at the bar, with Brook(e)? as our bartender. First, the outdoor alley entrance is fun/non-assuming. Once in, the decor is moody and perfectly dark/speak-easy-ish, much like a private underground club. Very impressive. We had cocktails/wine and ordered the Wedge Salad and the Ceaser Salad. Both were amazing, but my husband stated that the Ceaser was the best he had ever had. My Wedge Salad had bountiful amounts of flavorful blue cheese and amazing bacon chunks that made this the best salad I had ever had. We then ordered the petite filet (Medium) and Brussel sprouts and put a chocolate cake on order "to go". Highly recommend all of the above. The chocolate cake is "go big or go home" for sure. It hardly fit in two combined to go boxes. It was chocolatey, not overly dense, and the frosting complimented it perfectly! We cannot give enough high praise to Brook for the recommendations and for just making it a super fun vibe. I would gladly book a flight from San Diego just to go to dinner again at this place! Thanks for the special night!

We were stuffed and didn't have room for dessert although the turtle pie looked amazing. Our server did bring us two yummy chocolates with our check. She said the chef tempers them in house and creates a variety of fillings. Ours were strawberry filled and had a great snap. Service and cleanliness were excellent. Great place for a special occasion dinner.

I am not an angry person, but I have never seen my character get so disrespected, not only my friends at the bar (who ordered drinks, were sitting and chatting, being polite customers... we work in the service industry too so we get it) but to his coworkers and other customers within the establishment. Whether or not I deserved to hear the comments from my friends (learning that he has been making multiple passive aggressive statements, reducing me to some drunk girl who can't take care of herself), to encourage and endorse the attitude of not only a staff member but your management staff without a single conversation with me to at least assess the situation is unacceptable, especially in customer service focused jobs. We were there for 20 minutes at the most and 3-4 comments had been made to my social circle. God forbid a woman needs a moment to collect herself? I had not made a "mess" nor was I destructive or rude. All I did was walk into the establishment, put all the laies on my friends, walk into the bathroom, put up my hair, walk out, talk to my friends for about 3-5 minutes, walk back into the bathroom and cried in the stall for the last 10 minutes, spoke to my friend in the bathroom about leaving, then was informed that apparently that bartender has been telling them that I'm "their mess to clean up". Go watch those cameras buddy, there was no need to be doing all that. Anyways, love the staff typically and I do not write reviews but I did not deserve that. Thanks!

We started off with cocktails and both were fantastic. We hit the flow state with fries and the Caesar salad and immediately yes to both. Moving on to the mains, the burger (dare I say) might give Tina's a run for their money. It was cooked perfectly and with all the elements of a perfect smash burger. The salmon was fantastic but my greedy self wished it was bigger cause it was that good. As a whole, vintage wine bar is becoming one of my favorite spots in Tulsa. Service was friendly and knowledgeable when engaged, but at times it took a bit longer to get attention than expected. Still, its a nice spot to unwind, especially if youre in the mood to try something a little different without too much pressure.
