I went here with friends back in February for our first time and we all loved it. Both service and food were wonderful, and I thought the prices were very reasonable. I ordered apricot iced tea, the vegan fried chicken sandwich, and pineapple upside-down cake. I don't normally like chicken sandwiches that much, but this was really good. And the highlight was getting to choose any of the salads on the menu as the side salad that comes with it. I had the hearts of palm salad with vegan cheese instead of the usual parmesan. It was delicious! I also got to try the cauliflower wings and a bite of the Korean BBQ tofu sandwich. I liked that sandwich too, but not as much. I do like the way they fried the tofu, but it seemed different than what was described on the menu. It seemed just deep fried, but not battered. My only complaint is the layout of the building and the lack of directional signage. I didn't park in the parking lot, so I didn't know to enter from the back and I ended up on a long confusing walk both outside and inside the building before I finally reached the dining room. read more

Dinner with family last night. Staying at a hotel a few blocks away. Great choice! Variety of cocktails. Great slightly dirty chilled martini with lots of olives, as requested. Seated promptly without a reservation. Nice vibe, retro theme. Tyler, our server was wonderfully engaging, made good food recommendations, really appeared to be a good human, and made a good meal better ... Salmon cakes appetizer were a nice start, the salads were memorable -- fresh and refreshing -- and my crusted salmon was a completely satisfying entree and I loved the crunch (good portion size, great sauce, and accompaniments). I heard good things about The Vault from the food to the architecture and vibes so I had to try it. Well, I can at least say I tried it but didn't enjoy it. We had the spinach dip which was descent and what we both enjoyed of our lunch. I had the ham and cheese sandwich minus the pineapple. It was dry and the cheese wasn't ooey and gooey. Daughter had the Cuban sandwich and said it was bland and she couldn't taste the mustard aïoli that was supposed to be on it. It was nice to have the tall open windows to let in the light but didn't think the architecture or vibe was impressive. read more

This place still has vegan options and they are still tasty! This spot is one of like three places one can go and order a vegan breakfast item (that isn't just fruit or oats) right off the menu without any additional customization necessary. The vegan items are clearly labeled on the brunch menu as well as the other menus. The have great outdoor seating, a great bar with plenty of cocktail options, and the place is beautiful. We find ourselves here so often because, again, it is one of a very few places with vegan breakfast items and we're always happy with our food. read more

The Vault is a cool spot to eat thats in an old bank from like the 1950s. The server took a bit of a time coming to our table once we were seated but afterwards she was very prompt. I think they may have had a short meeting so I'll blame that. Brunch was good at this spot. We had the Brunch BLT and the Steak & Taters with 2 eggs added. Both entrees were good. We could definitely run it back with these dishes. The drinks were awesome! We had the whiskey sour and The Bankers Ex Wife. The Bankers reminded us of a great lemonade on a hot summer day. Welcome to The Vault in Tulsa.... This historic building was once a bank. There are two levels, a bar, and a view on the second level. Not many vegan options but there were cauliflower wings that were not so good. I was a little disappointed due to the nature of the finished product. Very soggy, I was expecting crispy wings. The manager was a doll and took my constructive criticism to the kitchen so that they could improve on the recipe. As a chef, I did offer a little advice. read more

She also ordered the Pink Squirrel drink, which sounded odd but turned out to be really good. A little in the sweet side. The farmers brunch was good but cold as though it had been sitting while waiting on the other dishes. The biscuit and gravy didn't have much flavor and was also cold. The top shelf Benny was good. Opted for the polenta cake instead of ciabatta bread. Solid choice. However, the salmon was overcooked leaving it dry. Nice place inside. A tad loud. Will ask to sit outside next time. Horrific experience! A group of 5 of us were in town for business. We went to this eatery around 6:00 pm. The establishment was half full. We stood at the front podium waiting to be seated for 12 mins. The closest server saw us as well as the guy that was answering the phone. Neither one of them budge to come greet us, acknowledge us or anything. There was a clear racial discrimination issue against us. The waitress finally came out and ask how many in our party and preceded to say they have space outside after we clearly can see the open seating available. I spoke up about it and she mentioned it's reserved for a party that's coming in shortly. Her response was very hesitant and seemed very off. Very disheartening, this public establishment has these type of people working there. Because of their vile behaviors, we took our money elsewhere. We left and called 5 mins later asking for a table for 5. Letting her know we will be there in 20 mins. She said "yes, we have a table available", our mouths dropped. That was poor behavior and lack of respect from the staff at this establishment. Clear Racial bias! We will never patronize this establishment and will let others know of these behaviors. read more

We tried the cheese fries and luckily the server suggested we add the Buffalo cauliflower on top. SOOOOO glad we took her advice. The fries would have been totally pedestrian without that addition. I tried the Ponzi Scheme and it was good. On the second round I decided to try the Gin & Jam. Again, upon the bartender's suggestion, I went with the apple-bacon jam. The building was the star...pretty cool place. The food wasn't bad. My pasta was on point, but appetizer and desert were avg. Our service was not good at all. We placed our beverage order and ordered an appetizer, then no one came to take our order for 20 min. This was on a Weds with open tables. Waiter asked how we were doing and we said we would love to order...you could tell by his face he realized he forgot to ever take our order. Unfortunately this was a pattern the rest of the night. Lots of walks past our table looking at our empty glasses and kept walking...later would ask if we needed anything and we say yes please drinks. Refills on iced tea meant glass brought back with zero ice. He would be in corner drinking his drink while taking 5 min to bring refills on our drink. I can check the vault off my list.
