I saw this spot at times I would come down Brookside & didn't have an idea of what it was. A friend of mine put together an artist residency & I DJ'd here not too long ago. This is a very chill place & the concept of being surrounded by plants is a nice touch. After setting up my equipment, I dove into a Wine Flight, which is a rotating flight monthly. I haven't had a Flight in forever, I enjoyed the one I had. I actually ended up having another around the time my set was wrapping up. The employee that night had her first shift & did a very good job. She was nice & made sure I was good the whole time I was there. I enjoyed my time + DJing & looking forward to doing more. Plant lovers definitely should stop by, all kind of options to purchase. A perfect spot to relax + wind down.

Grant and I drove over to Brookside to see Tulsa's newest wine bar! I tried their sangria and Grant ordered a beer. Everything green in the shop (and there is a lot) is for sale, sticking with their original concept. There is also a pot-your-own setup in the back for those interested. Grant and I stayed in front to enjoy their opening weekend! Their sangria was really nice and light, but I'm not the biggest fan of red wine. I prefer a sweet white, so I'm excited for their menu to continue expanding. All in all, it is definitely a cute, picturesque spot to visit and hang out!

Such a chill vibe, we chose this location for silent bookclub, so people could grab a glass of wine and hang out. There are several small sitting areas with plants everywhere that are for sale which is cool decor but also peaceful. There is street parking in front of the store. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was the perfect environment for our get together. The plants are mostly reasonably priced. We will definitely come back for some more plants, wine and hanging out.

A friend posted amazing pictures of this place during its soft opening so of course I had to check it out immediately. It is the absolute cutest plant shop in the heart of Brookside! As soon as I walked in, my eyes didn't know where to look first. Every single corner of the space is curated to harbor beautiful and unique greenery and locally-made crafts. It's really a delight to walk through the store and discover the amazing gems they have on the shelves. You will find Wilder Visions' macramé wall hangings, Big Heart's and The Velvet Leopard's artisan soap & body products, art by Mat Graphix, candles from Charley Jean, Oklahoma and Tulsa swag, essential oil blends by Hello Luna and Gaias Sacred Healing, and more! One of the most precious discoveries at the store are Rainbow Light Dream's handmade crystal creations. The staff told me she self-mines the crystals! There are crystal tea light cages, moss keychains, incense holders and magical crystal jewelry including earrings, rings and necklaces. This is the perfect place to find a thoughtful gift and support local vendors! I also have to mention the expertise they provide as a resource for all greenery related subjects. My house doesn't have a lot of natural light so I always struggle keeping plants alive. As soon as I shared my problem, the staff generously shared their knowledge as to which specific plants strive in low light. At her recommendation, I ended up getting a Devils Ivy with the most beautiful neon green color and they even provided a plant-care sheet for it with the best moisture level (they sell moisture testers too!). Highly recommend! Check it out as soon as you can!

For atmosphere alone this place is incredible! The wine was great and they have a nice selection. We came to also try the vegan food and it was very flavorful but it was fried crispy enough at all. Next time around we will have t ask for it fried much crispier but overall a good atmospheric experience was had by all.

We started with champagne, and my husband ordered a Bee's Knees cocktail, which paired perfectly with our crab claw appetizer, served with a remoulade and spicy cocktail sauce. Spencer, the sommelier, guided us to a beautiful wine -- an Ashes & Diamonds Cabernet Franc -- and it was excellent. For our entrée, we had the steak frites, it was cooked perfectly. We chose the filet-cut and came with a delicate Beurre Blanc sauce, the fries, were crispy and delicious, especially with the Dijon aioli. The service was exceptional and warm/friendly. Nicky was our server and she was very kind. We're already looking forward to coming back to try the beef bourguignon, and the burger looked amazing as well. Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere, peaceful, and the food was outstanding.

Aside from that, they ordered things off the Happy Hour menu and were pleased. Dan and I got the 2 Happy Hour rolls. We would have loved "Some Like it Hot" without the hot sauce. The Dunwell roll is good if you like cream cheese in sushi rolls and many people do. There was a time when Dan and I loved that but now our sushi preference is nigiri and our roll preference is whatever is the closest thing you can get to nigiri. We also don't like signature cocktails. We prefer both our drinks and our sushi to be as close to pure as we can get: martinis and nigiri . We frequently attend Happy Hour at a different In the Raw. We find the service and ambiance better where we usually go. The sake at Brookside was not good. It had kind of a soapy taste. We got domestic beers for our second drinks. We forgot to ask for glasses. Service was slow so we just drank them from the bottle, which we hate to do. The main plus for the Brookside restaurant is the location. During warm weather, the outdoor seating is fun. We had a fun evening with our granddaughter and her wonderful boyfriend. My advice to diners is to ask for the Happy Hour menu anytime you go to any restaurant between 2 PM and 7 PM. This isn't the only restaurant that has a Happy Hour but doesn't promote it. Happy Hour here is from 3 and 5. They don't give you a Happy Hour menu unless you ask for it. Check out my Happy Hour list. We went on a Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. to try this counterpart to Ava June…read more I have to apologize in advance for the lack of photos to go with this review. Much like Ava June, everything is a little funky here--not in a bad way, just different and unique. We started with cocktails; she had her usual Old Fashioned, but ordered it as a "normal", with Makers Mark, I had a glass of chardonnay (subtotal $28). She put her Makers Mark Old Fashioned near the top of the best in town ($2 extra for Makers??). We frequently split meals, so decided to share a Little Gems salad, which was VERY good. There are only a few salads in town that I like as it's just not my thing, but this one was super tasty. For our pizza we went with the limited edition Cubano as I love a good Cuban sandwich and have a tomato allergy. They did a good job of converting a sandwich to a pizza, though I thought the toppings were a little sparse for $22. I would have preferred that the pickles have been chopped into something smaller than the thick slices it came with (so it LOOKED beautiful). The best part for me is that they offer a fresh-made GLUTEN-FREE rosemary dough!!!! It was absolutely THE BEST gluten-free crust I've ever experienced hands down. My wife said that she would order it even though it's g-f. The vibe was just good, pretty crowded with a mix of generations. The space is fairly small and tight, so be prepared for the possibility of sharing a table. So if you followed the math above (which should be easy if you knew me!) it was $65 plus tax and tip, so $100 for a pizza and salad dinner.... Would I go back?? I wouldn't rule it out given the fantastic gluten-free crust, but would likely consider somewhere else that I consider a better value before beating a path back to Lofi.
