I wanted to exchange for the small bites, same flavor, same size bag. I had used a 40% off coupon that was mailed to me. They would not honor the price paid with the 40% off coupon. They were going to charge me $35.00 more, because the coupon could only be used once! I was not trying to use the coupon twice. I did not get to use it at all! This is not right! I think I should have gotten the correct bag of dog food for the price I originally paid! I got a refund! I will never use this store again! The girl at the register was playing with a live snake! This is very unprofessional! This girl should be fired!

I've visitedE&L pets several times and they never fail to have aquarium tubing and air stones/pumps, and everything else you would need to get a freshwater aquarium up and running. Last time I went they didn't have anything for saltwater. Their prices on some things were a little higher than what I could find online but I was paying for having it in-hand same day, which is nice. I think they also sell feeder mice for reptiles and they have a few permanent petsin their store that are not available for purchase. I used their services to re-home a small Indian Ring Neck parrot and they were able to take the bird same day and display it in the store until it sold (which I really appreciate). I was standing by the register…read morewhile two girls were looking over text messages and discussing them waiting for them to give me their attention and when the associate finally realized I was waiting for her she just stood there looking at me so I stood there, looking at her back. It was almost as if she was waiting for me to speak, but being that I was the customer I wasn't going to speak first. Eventually she asked do I need help with anything. After she was unsuccessful and helping with what I needed there was no sympathy from a business standpoint that a customer is leaving the store disappointed. She just looked at me with a very blank face. I left feeling very uncomfortable.

She then explained that it would be a "waste of time" for her if we didn't adopt. She then went on and told us that it was unneeded stress on her and would take away from her work needs. We had viewed the cats online already, and simply wanted to know their personalities prior to adoption. It's so sad that this woman wouldn't let this happen. There were also multiple other employees around, so we weren't taking her away from anything crazy. We didn't catch her name, but she had heavy eye makeup, like a wing eyeliner, and pink-short hair.
