Mayra was on top of it! I needed translation of three documents and right away she was able to help me. I had no reference of how much translations cost but her prices are decent for the amount of work. The translation only took two days and she delivered the documents certified. There's a reason Mayra Pineda gets so many 5 star reviews, including this one--she makes life SO MUCH EASIER. My dad just recently passed away and my family was stressed out and buried in paperwork, including trying to figure out how to navigate my parents' LIVING TRUST. I was referred to Mayra by Lisa Medoza (who is another awesome notary in the area) because I needed to have my I-9 verification form notarized before my start date at a new job. Due to the recent changes in California law (in August 2015), when you get your I-9 verification form notarized, a notary AND an immigration consultant must be present at signing. This means local banks, mail box stores, etc. will not notarize your documents simply because of this new law requiring an immigration consultant. But when I called Mayra, she was very helpful and told me she can get it done. And she did! I drove to Downey in 30 minutes and was out of there within 20. So if you need something similar, Mayra is the notary for you! The rate was cheap and I felt like everything was handled by a true professional. This was my first time doing business with a notary but I now know who to call if I need something done! Thank you, Mayra! read more

Mayra was experienced and professional. I prepare estate plans and when I have a client that for medical reasons is unable to travel I need to rely on a notary to go to the location. Any notary can attest to a signature - that is why they are a notary. What is differentiates notaries, in my opinion are: their bedside manner, timeliness, reliability, and preparedness. Mayra excels at all of these. I have to use a notary dozens of times a year -- so I know notaries, and Mayra is well deserving of 5 stars. read more
