I saw they had a watch I had been looking for online. I called and the saleswoman confirmed the watch was still available and answered my questions about the quality of it while she inspected it. It was expensive, so I wanted to be sure I was getting the real deal as I live in California. I bought it, and they shipped it quickly. They texted me to make sure someone would be home to receive the package. Given that I wouldn't have someone at home at that time, they were quick to change the shipping address. It makes me sad to read the one star reviews because that's just not the way Mazzerese does business. An employee at the other highly respected jewelry store gave us high praise when she saw our wedding rings. I have a husband who likes to buy me jewelry and once we found Mazzerese, we no longer buy jewelry from any other store. We were living on the east coast for several years and Mazzerese was still our jewelry store. We've gone to Mazzarese for more than 20 years. When we wanted our wedding rings designed, we were referred to Mazzarese. We told Mr Mazzarese what we wanted and needed for the type of work we do. My husband and I wanted unique rings. I didn't want a standard band with a diamond mounted on top because I'd not be able to wear it when I worked. We really didn't know what we wanted until Mr Mazzarese showed us his designs. His designs more than surpassed what we could have imagined . When we went to pick them up, they were absolutely gorgeous. They're both beautiful and solid with white and yellow gold. To this day, we get compliments from people here in the US and abroad. We were in Waikiki and walked into the Cartier store. As most people know, Cartier is no stranger to exquisite jewelry. One of the employees noticed our rings and commented on the beauty of the design. He had high praise for the jeweler who designed them. Since we bought our wedding rings there, they've become our jewelry store. My husband has large wrists and bracelets have to be special ordered. They make sure he gets exactly what he wants. Every piece of jewelry we've gotten from Mazzerese is special and unique. When we buy jewelry, it's both an investment and something to be handed down for generations to come. My daughters love every piece. Mazzerese is a family owned business. It's not a jewelry store chain but I don't want jewelry that I see on everyone else. I just got an early Mother's Day gift from Mazzerese and I love it. I hope people will go into Mazzerese and see what they have. For more than twenty years, they've stood behind everything they sell and we've never met an employee who wasn't attentive and professional. Please don't be put off by negative reviews. I had been a good customer of Mazzarese for many years. So back in 2016, I bought a Raymond Weil watch from them. Shortly after purchasing it, I noticed it was losing minutes a week. I brought it back, and they told me they would send it back to see if it could be adjusted. When I picked it up, they told me that there was nothing wrong with the watch and that it was working within the specifications in the fine print. I guess it was my fault for not asking the right questions when I bought it, like, does this expensive watch actually tell time accurately. So I lived with it, knowing that I couldn't actually trust it to be right. I recently received a text from them about some watch event, and, as I'm kind of annoyed about the whole situation, asked if these watches actually worked. I was then contacted by them, and told that these kinds of watches need to be serviced every 3 years. I decided that I was done being aggravated every time I looked at it, and instead, stuck it in a drawer. Unbeknownst to me, my daughter decided to take it in and get it serviced. A few days later, I was surprised to get a phone call telling me that they could get it back into specs for only ~$700. That's $700 to get it back to where it still isn't accurate! EVERY 3 YEARS! I'm sure that too was in the fine print I didn't read. I laughed and told them no and that I'd come back and pick it up. I then tried to pawn it, and the pawn shop wouldn't even give me an offer. So back in the drawer it goes, and I took the $700 and bought an Apple Watch, which is not only accurate, but has lots of other functionality. Did Mazzarese do anything wrong? No. This is all on me. I suppose if they told people that the expensive watches they sell aren't actually accurate, and that you will have to pay $700 every 3 years to get them to almost work, they might not sell as many watches. Excellent customer service from Angie. She special ordered parts for my watch and worked with me to get everything quoted and ordered correctly the first time. When the parts arrived she contacted me promptly. I stopped in to have the work done and again received excellent customer service in the store. I was in and out with my watch in less than 20 minutes. Highly recommend as an authorized Omega dealer in the KC area. read more

Horrible store to shop for jewelry. Store owners very unwelcoming to customers and very rude. I was in the market for a Rolex watch but when I saw how rude they were to me I changed my mind and walked right out of the store. Do not waste your time at this shop you will have regrets ! We purchased a very expensive piece of jewelry from this company that was improperly made and broke. After showing this item to several of the oldest and most reputable jewelers in Kansas City, all agreed the item was improperly made and should not have been sold. When discussing this issue with Mazzerese we were met with anger, arguments and excuses. Bottom line is they do not stand behind the merchandise they sell and we would not recommend this company for any valuable jewelry item. read more

I wouldn't go there. I ordered my husband's ring. Paid for it and waited two weeks past the eta. I called in and they said that they didn't know when it will arrive, maybe another three weeks. I asked them why it took so long but no one could give me an answer, not even the family member owner gentleman. No one ever called to tell me it would be late. I asked for my money back and they said that I signed the contract therefore cannot get my money back. I lost $600 and told them I didn't want the ring. Let me start by saying we looked a 4 other stores and this is the one that we chose! I had never been in this store prior to our search for an engagement ring. We worked with Heidi and she was really helpful! We wanted a cushion cut and had specific parameters in mind. They showed us round cut diamonds as well. It was a tough decision and at one point they let us walk outside to see the diamonds in another light. I was able to find a setting that I absolutely love and they worked with us to stay within our budget! We got the engagement, band and diamond. It is gorgeous!! We will definitely be return customers when it is time to get his ring. They have a designer, Todd Reed, who has one of a kind pieces. Can not say enough great things about Mazzarese. Outstanding selection and pricing. The Customer Service is what puts them head and shoulders above everyone else. I bought my wife diamond earrings and wasn't sure the cut of diamond my wife would like. So I asked Angie who knew right away. The store seemed fine. No one was in the store and I was greeted. However, other than the greeting, the staff was short with me. When I said I was looking for an engagement ring and asked for some advice, instead of giving me recommendations, suggestions, and sharing their professional expertise with me, the lady basically told me to look online. I've never been treated with such disrespect! The customer service is horrible. I left in tears! They give family owned small businesses a bad name. They were completely unwilling to refund my hard earned money after the center stone in my ring fell out after only a week. They offered me "store credit", but only had one other ring in my price range. They tried pressuring me into buying a ring ten times the cost of mine. They sent my ring out for repair and it took a month to get it back. When I finally did get it back, it wasn't even repaired properly nor was it even cleaned. Don't ever do business here! read more
