The team arrived at our house at 7 am and they were in the process of cleaning up by 11 am. During the process, there was minimum noise and they were very honest about the roof conditions in terms of what part of the decking needed to be replaced and what looked good. So when i saw their fleet of trucks decend on my street a few years back, efficiently and respectfully doing a neighbors roof, I decided I was going to jettison my old roofer and hire BHC. BHC is a very well run, responsive, personable, respectful, and conscientious business. They come when they say they will, do only what's needed, and provide fair value for their services. The workers are straight forward in their explanations, taking photo evidence of the roofing conditions to share with the home owner. They discuss what needs to be done right away and explain the options available, which is good to have if working with a budget. They follow up with reminders if the roof is coming due for maintainence which is a nice service. Outta sight, outta mind is human nature, so i appreciate the reminders for recoats, etc. The roof is not something to leave to chance, especially with the crazy weather experienced lately ( strong winds, hail, torrential rainfall, etc). I recently had a clogged downspout (from some tree debris) that was pooling water on the roof and BHC was out within a few days of my call. No job is too small when it comes to their customers. I sincerely appreciate that kind of respect and service. I am so glad I found BHC Roofing! I got his name and number from my vet actually so I had to cancel the appointment because water was pouring out of my ceiling which I thought was a roofing issue from my porch. It turned out that it was a heating pipe that split. My daughter told me that the floor upstairs was soaked. I ran upstairs I pulled up the carpet and it was scolding to the touch. There was a lot of steam coming off the floor. I ended up calling the fire company going way over the extreme, but by that point I had already called Dale Rimmer. He ended up getting here as fire company was leaving ( which was 20 minutes ) He did explain on the phone that it was probably just steam coming off the floor. He remained with me at the house until I had somebody able to come out and fix the pipe( the fire company turned off my boiler as it was pouring water into my house). I'm also leaving a review for my Fire company. I've never needed them in all my years living here, but they were downright amazing and the same thing with the police downright amazing. I cannot be thankful enough for my community and the fact that Dale was the voice a reason and calmness in my crazy day.!!!

Several siding contractors we called said they only did siding. Dale said he had contractors that he has worked with for years that could do the stone work and build the new porch. Dale was involved during the entire process and the stone mason and carpenter he brought in were great. The porch and stone work turned out better than we expected. We also had a new flagstone walkway installed and our deck refurbished. The new siding, gutters and downspouts completed the makeover of our home's exterior. Dale was personally involved and was quick to answer and questions or concerns we had. All of the people took pride in their work and the results show it.

I hired Munz Roofing and Siding to complete a siding project, and I could not be happier with the entire experience. From the start, their consultant, Stephen M., came out and provided helpful education, a thorough walkthrough, zero pressure, and a timely quote for several different product options. Munz ultimately provided the best quote among the three local companies that came out. Eric G., their general manager, also came out to review the plan and clearly outlined the steps they would take to protect our garden beds during the siding removal and installation. That level of communication and attention to detail gave us a lot of confidence going into the project. Project Manager Chris and installer Oleg then completed the project in 9.5 days, which was even half a day ahead of their original 10-day estimate. Chris checked in every day to see if we had any questions or concerns, and Oleg's work was outstanding. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were top notch, and he spent at least a half hour cleaning up every day before leaving. One thing that really stood out was that Oleg took the time to point out how well the previous siding job had been done when the house was built about 40 years ago. He noted that the original wrapping had been applied with meticulous precision, which helped explain why there was minimal water damage to the existing boards. That honesty was appreciated, especially because there was never a moment where the crew attempted to upsell us on unnecessary work. Eventually he said It was the chimney. I was so frustrated with him I just gave up. It took two years and numerous calls. I eventually gave up and had a different company come out and fix the problem. They solved the problem in 30 minutes. It cost me $175. I am dissatisfied with his responses to me. Does the Chimney needwork...yes. The problem was the sealant around the flashing and the way it was secured to the chimney. I also had damage to aluminum flashing around my windows when his gutter contractor used the window sill to stand on while installing new gutters. He didn't offer to solve anything. The new gutters are good, the contractor's employee was not. No resolution was given.

He didn't overcomplicate the project or load me up with roofing jargon like other contractors did. Their quote came in customized to our project and was built to have no large "extra material " surprises when the project closed. They were always communicative and friendly about the project. When they encountered a situation that was abnormal, they walked me through the issue and offered resolutions that would've cost them money. They seem to be stand-up craftsmen who want to do a good job at all costs and don't treat their customers like just another number. If you are going to invite anyone to do work on their home especially on your roof, they are the type to get.

I had water leaking from my roof down into my upstairs bathroom ceiling. These scammers ripped me off, paid $350 cash for nothing. the 2 guys who came out had a hard time climbing a ladder and walking on my roof which is not that steep as the guys from state farm were able to easily walk on my roof. once on the roof, they claim that they found nothing wrong but wanted $350 for just coming out. What a scam. I Had to call Home Depot to send out one of their contractors to repair my roof, they put flashing boot and sealer around one of their boots (pipes) coming out of of the roof. It's a simple fix that these guys missed. Stay away from these guys, save your money and go w/ someone else. I would recommend talking w/ your local Home Depot or Lowe's to recommend someone. These guys are overpriced and a disappointment.
