Needed a storm door installed. We have a new house, therefore didn't even need the old one removed. Explained the storm door that I wanted , which is at Home Depot for $400. A couple months ago we hired Kanga Roof to install a roof on our 2-story colonial house with an extended porch and a detached 2-car garage. It was not a small job. Small back story: Over the decades, I have hired dozens of contractors and vendors in both my home life and business career. By far, Kanga Roof was the easiest and best contractor I have ever been involved with. Their attention to detail is phenomenal. It's been 2 months since Kanga Roof installed the roof. Many of our neighbors and strangers have asked who did our roof (it's that noticeable). After I say Kanga, their response is that they heard they are higher priced than "others". I have also seen the work from "others" and all of the complaints from the friends, family and neighbors that went with a cheaper contractor. I can tell you that you get what you pay for. And in some cases, the so-called cheaper contractors were actually higher after the games the "others" played to get more money from the original quote. I wish I had more work for Kanga Roof because I will not hesitate using them again. And if you want a QUALITY job for the best price, hire Kanga Roof. They are truly worth every penny. read more

I am in the home buying process, and the inspection report indicated that the two skylights in one section of the home were leaking and 20 years old...they need replacing. So, for the negotiation process with the seller I needed to get a quote, and a realtor provided Kanga Roof as a reputable firm. Set up an inspection... $69 for that, which is reasonable. Kanga rep came out and inspected the area, and gave me an on-the-spot quote for $8000 to replace the two Velux skylights and that 340 SF of roof that needed to be replaced along with it. Fast forward one day (inspection time/negotiation period was expiring), I presented that quote to the seller so we could negotiate it out. In the meantime, I wanted to get a couple more quotes during the week to compare Kanga. That week, same job was quoted at $5900 and $5500 by two other roofers. I had already provided the $8000 quote to the seller, so it looked like I was trying to take advantage of her with a high quote. Clearly, Kanga thought this was an opportunity to come in very high on a bid, since we needed the work done and (stupidly on my part) I told them it may be an insurance claim situation. Anyway you slice it, they were WAY off on the quote... it sure didn't leave me with a warm and fuzzy feeling. read more

Called Bc I'm having issues with my skylight. The woman took a message and told me someone would get back to me. The guy called me the next day at 730 in the morning!!! I almost didn't answer because I'm thinking who would be calling this early so I thought it was a spam call. I then told him the issue which was like pulling teeth. He then asked me if I could go take pictures? I said sorry but I don't have a tall ladder to climb up and take the pictures as it's near the roof. He then goes well we will get you on the schedule with no time or day or when he would call back and judging from his hesitation you could tell it was a job he didn't want to look at or deal with meanwhile hasn't even seen anything yet to know anything. I haven't gotten a call back yet and he's been 2 days. That's just bad business and unprofessional. read more

I was very satisfied with the work preformed by Kanga roof. Abe came out and did a thorough inspection which included going into the attic. He then provided a folder with additional product information and we discussed all the details of the installation. They were very responsive to all me questions and returned all my calls promptly. On the day of the installation Tony was available and worked with us on any concerns/questions that we had. Kanga roof will guarantee the roof and resolve any issues that may have occurred due to the installation... 1,4,10 years down the road. Abe Brooks and Kanga Roof recently replaced our entire roof in Richboro Pa. Abe and Albert are the most professional and qualified roofers and construction company I have ever dealt with owning homes for almost 30 years. Just purchasing this home in Richboro I knew the roof was in bad shape and had a sag in the plywood. After ripping off the existing delapadated shingles and exposing the plywood I ended up needing 22 sheets of plywood and 13 roof trusses that were cracked!!! The Brooks roofing and carpenter crew ripped off the existing plywood and installed new plywood. They also sistered together 13 new 2x12 roof joists to stabilize the roof and take the bow out!! All of this went documented on video by the crew so I could see the damage and new construction!! Needless to say they installed new tar paper, 30 year dimensional shingles as well as all new flashing and caulking!! I am so pleased with the end result I want people to know that in this day and age of fly by night contractors these are the professional people you want on your property!! The crew was professional and cleaned my property thoroughly of any debris!! All the neighbors now comment on our roof and the workmanship as the previous owners did little maintenance!! We plan to use Abe Brooks Construction to install all of our outdated Windows and doors next as we know it will be done to my expectations! A week after the install of my roof I received an email of all the pictures of the work they performed as they opened up the roof to the cutting and installation of the plywood, shingles and trusses. This is invaluable for insurance purposes as well as if I ever list the house for sale I have video documentation!
