There were about 50 guests in all. Their staff, from my first meeting with the sales rep, from all the detailed emails back and forth, to the servers and helpers the day of the event, were all professional, friendly, helpful, detail-oriented, and genuinely concerned with our complete satisfaction. The space was well-received by everyone. It looks a bit stark when you first go in (when it's empty), but once you decorate it and fill it with tables and decorations, it is warm and inviting while still feeling fun and relaxed. It's like a blank canvas - you make what you want it to be. The food was scrumptious! We had the ranch chicken with the chilled berry soup appetizer and everyone loved it. Also, we had a vegetarian guest and a vegan guest, and they both told me their meals were delicious. We provided the cake, but they provided the sundae bar, which included mango sorbet. Everyone loved that as well, especially the kids. Two of my guests cancelled the day of, so those meals were wrapped up for me, so my husband and I were able to enjoy a second meal the next day. The staff also cut up the remainder of the cake and put the pieces in reusable containers so my father and other guests were able to take cake home. The lounge area and the restrooms were not only spotless, but also furnished with plush sofas and chairs for those who needed a break from the action. We didn't need a DJ because the Commons provided piped-in Pandora music selection, which was just the right music at the just the right volume. There is plenty of parking and it was easy for all my guests to find. I highly recommend Franklin Commons for any event you are having! They are the best!

The room where the party was held was clean and decorated. The girls working our room were on top of everything. Making sure we had plenty of plates, napkins, etc. They had the pizza slices ready to go and cut the cake all nicely. The staff were great! The only thing that was a bit of a downer was when the birthday girl got into a harness swing and the kids yelled Happy Birthday to her. A lot of the kids expected to go on the swing and got upset when they couldn't. Other than that it was a great experience and something different for us!

They kept the children safe and organized, which I appreciate as a parent. The space appears very small from the outside, but is spacious once you get through the main hallway. There's one 18-hole course, and it's around $10 per person. The best part is that you can stay and play as many times as you want, so you can get your money's worth if you're up for multiple rounds. Or, more realistically, you can play again to try to redeem yourself after that embarrassing 6 on the 4th hole! The course was well maintained, fun, and just challenging enough to keep things interesting. There's quite a bit of water, and it's surprisingly easy to find yourself fishing your ball out of a pond. Fortunately, the balls float, and there are strategically placed nets in the spots where you're most likely to need them, which is a nice touch. You'll also find the usual obstacles like rocks and "sand traps." Although, calling them sand traps is being pretty generous--they're more like rock traps. I would have liked to see a little more theming throughout the course and some different types of hazards. Once you've conquered the water and rocks, there isn't a whole lot of variety. They also have an indoor, air-conditioned snack bar serving Nelson's ice cream, which is a pretty great way to cool off after a round--or recover emotionally from the hole that just ruined your score. Overall, it's a nice, well-kept mini golf course with reasonable pricing, unlimited play, and a few good challenges. It may not have the elaborate themes or crazy obstacles of some of the bigger courses, but it's a fun place to spend some time and definitely worth checking out.
