Billy came out to give an estimate within a couple hours of my reaching out (after business hours on a Saturday!) and his crew came to do the work on the next business day. The guys worked quickly and efficiently and did an excellent job. They accommodated my request to cut the smaller limbs into short pieces for firewood. The team went above and beyond my expectations, by neatly stacking the firewood pieces (as opposed to tossing them over the fence), making a temporary repair of our broken fence to prevent our dog from escaping, and they even used dirt to fill in the deep indentations in our yard where the heavy tree had crashed to the ground. In addition, the price charged was fair, and the team did an excellent job cleaning up all the debris around our property from the fallen tree. This was our second time using Butler Tree Service, the first time being several years ago when they cut some dangerous limbs. We were also very satisfied back then and we would not hesitate to call them again in the future.

Brett called me the night before and came out at 9 am Wednesday as scheduled. He quoted me a price…read morefor mowing, trimming, edging, clearing out all the shrubs and creeping plants along the fence in the front and back and hauling away junk in the backyard (some of these pieces were large). He was paid in advance for the job. He did a great job of mowing and edging in the front but did not pick up any of the shrubs and grass clippings. He cut back some of the overgrown shrubs and greenery in the back. He worked for 3-1/2 hours then left at 12:30 to say he was going to empty the trailer and would be back in an hour (the dump is 20 minutes from here). I called several times to see where he was and he kept saying he was stuck in traffic. He finally showed up at 5:50 pm and worked for about an hour clearing out the metal and wooden pieces in the back. He did not return to remove the shrubbery or all the grass and shrub clippings or finish the back. I thought his price was really high, his lawn care was excellent, but am disappointed that he bailed out on me and didn't finish. (He was always polite and respectful and I wish I could have given him a better review.)

On Saturday he said he was on my way to my house but alas, he didn't show until 4 hours later. I asked him for a time to expect him but he never let me know. I have a contract with them but he is very unresponsive and my yard looked terrible as we were over 2 weeks without a cut at the end of May and early June. I thought the issues that I had when I initially contracted with him to mulch and seed my yard in the spring were an anomaly but they appear instead to be part of a pattern. After first contacting him to do Spring bed clean-up and mulching, I waited 3 plus weeks and they never showed even though he stated they would mulch within the week after receiving the contract. When I finally was able to reach him, I had to insist that they do the work as they wanted to wait another 2 weeks which would have put us into late May for mulching and seeding and over 5 weeks from the initial request for service. (Then he never cleaned up/trimmed the plants in the side gardens. ) The delays, unresponsiveness, and lack of communication and the fact that he clearly misled, if not outright lied, to me about being on his way are indicative of the poor customer service and an unreliable business. I would advise you to avoid working with Pine Ridge Landscaping.
