I would not recommend Curb Appeal Masters or his other business NowaDiamond (his cleaning company but also operating his landscaping business from this name too). He's charging 5-star prices but NOT delivering 5-star work. Attaching pics of: Discolored stones, "drainage" holes that never drain properly due to being too small and due to improper landscaping installation (mulch slopes into patio), dead landscaping, rusting firepit, electrical wire for patio lighting that was never buried, slate that he tried to pass off as stepping stones though clearly it was from a different project and although he said it would be temporary he never replaced, another mulch area where the slope is so significant it just runs right off leaving the landscaping fabric exposed, close up of how the polymeric sand was not used along the edge of patio nor was any alternative edging used to keep the landscaping mulch off of the patio. The project started July 15, 2023 and was never completed.

I had multiple contractors come out to give us quotes. Most wanted to tear down and rebuild the porch completely (to the tune of $30k+). Others didn't even get back to us (summer 2020 was a busy time for contractors). Eder and the team at Master Solutions put together a proposal that included shoring up the foundation of the porch, giving it a facelift with new railing and flagstone floor, all new walkways in the front, and a new concrete driveway. They also installed a rain catchment system that diverts water from our gutters to a dry well in the backyard, so we don't have massive puddles in our yard anymore! We were able to do so much more with Master Solutions for about the same price that other contractors quoted for just a new porch. We're so happy with our new driveway, walkway, and porch! They did a great job and worked with us to make the final project even better with small suggestions along the way. Eder (the owner) was involved from start to finish and you can tell he takes pride in his work. Great company, great crew!

We contacted more than 5 different contractors; some of which were rather uninterested in even performing an estimate. On the contrary, Dave with HL Design was prompt in contacting me (same day that I inquired via home advisor) as well as coming by my property and performing an estimate. We received 3 different estimates, and ultimately chose HL Design seeing as his was the best combination of value and quality body of work. The job itself turned out excellent and was completed on the timeline we had agreed to. One other thing I found interesting was that all other contractors felt they could easily disconnect and reconnect my AC unit since we wanted the unit to sit on the patio itself. HL design however suggested we call a professional to have this service done. This may have been an added cost but I believe it was the right advice seeing as there is much more that went into this than I had expected. I used Tony with Urbana HVAC for this and he was awesome in coming out on very short notice. That said, very happy with the work of HL design and we will surely enjoy our new outdoor living space as the weather starts to warm up!

My mother has recently had to sell the home due to illness, but managed to remain in her beloved single family home until the age of 85.
