Again, unless that is your style then go for it! Staff are usually friendly. Their exchange and return policy isn't that great. However, I was able to return a Christmas gift that I received and was able to get store credit on a gift card. They also have a rewards program. But be warned if you pay with a gift card and your out-of-pocket cost isn't high enough, then you can't get loyalty reward points for it. A tiny area is in the back for clearance. They also have dressing rooms to try on clothing. Overall it's a fun store to visit, but depends on your taste and what exactly you are looking to buy.

If I'm totally honest, the reason I picked this place is because it's the same name as a casino in Las Vegas. Silly reason, I know. But, I do understand that rings sometimes have issues. And, in this case, my wife realized that her diamond was a bit loose. So, here's where I got an education about diamonds that I hoped I would never need. First of all, to get coverage on your homeowners insurance, you have to make a specific rider to your insurance. I didn't do that. Fortunately, the lady at Golden Nugget helped me through the whole thing. It didn't surprise me that she tried to convince me that the diamond itself should be replaced. She gave me that magnifying eyepiece that jewelers use, and she said, "Look, there's a chip on the top part over there." I couldn't see anything. And, if I can't see anything with magnification, I don't think it's that big of a deal. For the record, my wife was OK with that decision, especially since our daughter just started college. But, the nice thing was that she didn't press the issue. When she found out I didn't have insurance coverage, she helped me find the best possible option to reset the diamond. It cost $180, which seems like a lot, and it took a week to do, which seemed like a long time, but it's a small price compared to the price of the diamond itself. And, the ring seriously looks like a new ring after the repair. One minor annoyance was that they won't do appraisals on rings that they didn't sell. But, if I have any issues with my ring or with hers again, I think I'll come back here. And, by then, I should have my homeowners insurance in place to cover it.

I walked in and was immediately greeted. The staff is super helpful. You can tell they love their job! I told her what I was looking for and both women immediately started hunting. They came up with a beautiful earring and necklace set. I wish I had gotten the bracelet too. It's really great quality. The necklace is actually heavy! I'm really bad at looking at prices when I shop so I was in for a bit of a surprise when they told me the total. This place is definitely not for the frugal. I was having some money issues at the time and swallowed hard and paid it because I was embarrassed. I figured I would go home and if I had buyer's remorse, I would return them. But I didn't. I kept the items and they have had a lot of use! But as I said,. Very hard on my jewelry. I broke one of the earrings. I was so sad. I went on line and tried to find a replacement set, but they don't make them anymore. I decided to go back to the store and see if maybe they had any left hidden somewhere. I was disappointed to find out they didn't. But then, as I was talking to them, they told me that they back their items and I could bring the earrings back in and they would send it back to the factory for repair. If they couldn't repair it, they would replace it. I was so happy! It took 6 weeks and I ended up getting a new set of earrings for free. This is good customer service and this will bring me back for all my jewelry needs. This makes the cost well worth it!

The only issue is that some of the items were way over priced. I saw some necklaces/bracelets 4x the amount I have seen elsewhere. For example, the crystal ones have been sold on wish and are cheaply made, they were marking them way up. I also saw some cute figures for $20 and they were super tiny. I understand though that a lot of these items were made by hand. I just do not think I would pay the price for them. One of the sweaters was $85 but really pretty, unique, and super soft/warm. If you are into unique items, then this is a place for you. I think they have a sale going on as well. You can pick up figurines or mugs, or even a quilted rug. It is also just a cool shop to look through.
