Even though the leasing agent hired them tenants don't have any documentation about towing just a sign. So people get towed for whatever the towing company finds to be a "responsible" tow. The decal fell to the floor due to the heat so they claimed it was not "prominently displayed". I asked for partial reimbursement given the decal was obviously in my car but had simply fallen to the floor despite no fault of my own. They did not budge. Luckily, I had a GPS tracker in there to quickly find it. The original bill was in the high $400's. They had originally charged me for more time than my trailer was there, and for some super large type of trailer. Upon politely questioning these charges, and the fact that my trailer was towed to a place different from where the signage indicated, the (assumed he was) owner from the back room made up lie after lie as to why the charges were what they were, and why it was towed there. "We're trailer specialists." "It doesn't have to be to the assigned lot if there was a tag on your trailer long enough." "That's how much a trailer is. It's a special, pricier tow." All lies I was tolk in response to my concerns. He even expressed how much he hated people like me that aren't accountable for my actions when they don't follow the rules, and have the audacity to question him and his tow company. (That part was really great because I was very concerned about being liked by these people). Problem here is, he isn't operating by the book himself ;) Eventually a few charges were dropped, as it had to became clearly apparent that they were excessive, I knew it, and was going to follow through with filing. But still , since they towed my vehicle without proper signage, I got my money back. ABSOLUTE SCAM artists. They towed our car for "expired tags" (our fault) from our apartment complex however our complex policy is to leave a note on the car giving us 48 hours to rectify the situation and then email the property managers so they can reach out about our car violation. They claim they left the notice in our car and even went as far as taking a picture after they left it however we drive this car every single day and not ONCE did we see this giant notice on the drivers side of the car. Unfortunately it's their word vs ours however it's total bs because a camera in the lot would have showed that they took the notice off so they could tow our car. We went in to talk to them about the car and the ignorant office secretary Brittany wouldn't even get up to speak with us then we were walked out and the door was locked on us forcing us to call the police. They lied to the police and told them they sent an email to our property on the day they took the picture which our property manager confirmed they did not receive, and then when my husband finally reluctantly paid the 260 dollars to retrieve the car they stated they would immediately tow it again if we didn't get new tags. Explain to us how we can get new tags at 4pm on a Friday?! Mind you they claim they put this notice on our car on Monday and waited until Friday afternoon to tow it?? The price goes up by the day so clearly they planned this on purpose. They better hope I don't lose my baby from all the stress they caused us today because they will be sued. I was incorrectly given a violation sticker for "expired tags" despite having a clearly posted Temporary Registration paper issued by the MVA in my rear window. The sticker WILL NOT come off of my window. I called to complain and ask for someone to supply me with something to remove the sticker. I was spoken rudely to and blamed for receiving an ERRONEOUSLY placed sticker. Somehow it was MY fault for someone stupidly not seeing my temporary registration. I personally believe that Peak Management/Tuscany Gardens operate with deceitful business practices, right along with Mc-N-Mc Transporting & Towing. If you come on to the Tuscany Gardens property and park your car at anytime, you are to have a parking permit; guess pass of course from the resident that you are there to see. And they get away with it because they have the Private Parking Only signs posted all over the property. So it's a minimum of $250 a pop to get it out of the impound lot;, I wonder who actually pockets that money? Not to mention that even if you are the renter living there and your pass falls down out of sight of the tow truck driver, you can still be towed at a minimum of $250. Not too many people that I know have $250 in CASH to pay Mc-N-Mc to get your car out of their lot. Anything after the first 24 hours is $100/day. Be careful everyone for visitations, parties, deliveries because you have the possibility of being towed at any moment with no guest pass in plain site of the tow truck company Mc-N-Mc. You should definitely think twice about renting from them. And don't even get me started on repairs that need to be done once you move in and never addressed or the fact that the A/C in the units are so old, that your electricity bill is well over $200/month. Horrible company. I used my insurance company to contact them for a tow. The told me they were on their way and would be at my location in a hour. After a hour and a half later I tried to contact them. I was told it would be an hour longer. An hour and a half after that my insurance company told me they decided not to pick me up. They did not call me or my insurance company to let us know. My insurance company contacted them to see what is the hold up I was stranded for hours because of them. They illegally towed my vehicles from my housing development two times. One of the times, they took my car off of my parking pad. During one incident, I went to pick up my vehicle, one of the workers told me I couldn't enter their property with that sh** on. Even going as far as standing in front of the entrance, so I could not enter. The other workers inside did nothing. I am Muslim female and I was wearing my covering. I had to have my male relative go get the car from them. Worst people. I'm currently submitting paperwork to sue them. They steal people cars from my development all of the time. If only a 'no star' review were possible. Mc n Mc Towing was assigned to me by my insurance company and I received a text saying they'd be at my car at a specific time. I left work mid-day to meet the tow truck with the extra key to the car that belongs to my son in college. I manage a construction company, a management company and a development firm, so it's not like I have loads of time to waste on this process. I showed up 5 min early, and waited. About 20 min after the specified time, I called the towing company, at which point, they put me on a 5 min hold, came back on the line to tell me that they'd be another 45 min. Seriously? I asked the girl on the phone why they texted me with a specific time, and she said, "We don't text that time, the insurance company does." Well, I'm thinking that the insurance company comes up with that based on what the tow company tells them. They don't just make up times randomly. So, I go to a nearby restaurant to wait, 20 minutes later I receive a call from my insurance company to tell me that the tow truck driver "broke down" and they are going to find another company to service this tow. So, believing that that excuse was total shit, I call Mc N Mc back, pretending to be a new customer, two blocks away from my original location to see if they could tow my car, and low and behold, they can come collect my (pretend) car after all. Suddenly their "broken down" tow truck is now available? Really? You may be thinking, 'Wow, this person has a lot of time on their hands to be writing this review!' Yes, I do! As I sit here waiting for the new tow truck from hopefully REPUTABLE tow service, yes. I do. My recommendation is either stay far away from this poorly managed company, or once you've had the horrible misfortune of actually using them, write a scathing review so that others will be spared the injustice of horrendous service. If I could give this company a negative star rating I would. My husband and I had a car towed from our apartment complex for a valid reason(sucked but we understood). We were already in the process of selling the car to crazy rays for it being a junk car. When we called we were ready to head out the door and get our car, the driver said it would be $50 to have the car released to us. We asked if they could tow it to Crazy Rays and they said they would for $250 so we opted not to do that but to have Crazy Rays pick it up at the towing company. We specifically asked would it just be $50. Marvin the driver said just $50 and no fees. We grabbed the title to the car and Marvin called us back and said we couldn't pick up the car until Monday but said there would be no fee to hold the vehicle there until Monday. We asked about just transferring the title to them just to be done with it and were told we could but then we would be subject to fees for 30 days! So we said us and crazy rays would come back Monday morning. Well we get there to pick up our vehicle for $50 and they try to charge us $250. We even spoke to the driver Marvin who says he never said anything about $50. The only way to get out of there was to pay $120 for us to transfer the title to them! Not to mention the woman who was "helping" customers was yelling and cursing at employees and customers and a customer on the phone. I'll be reporting to the BBB and also giving the owner a piece of my mind. STAY AWAY from this company. They will rip you off read more
