First time my wife and I ate here last Wednesday. The food was really good. I had a chicken club and my wife had a bbq chicken sandwich. I had potato salad also. It was really really good. One Star: Mother's Day Mistake We should've taken the hint when every other sit-down restaurant had a waitlist on Mother's Day -- and McAlister's Deli looked like a ghost town. Turns out, we didn't stumble on a hidden gem; we wandered into the culinary equivalent of a trap. The "loaded nachos" were only loaded in the sense that someone accidentally dropped a can of dog food on some stale chips and called it a day. The chili-flavored meat product (and I use that term generously) was clearly reheated -- probably several times -- and tasted like regret. The sandwiches? Let's just say they looked nothing like the pictures, unless the pictures were taken in a parallel universe where ingredients are fresh and sandwiches have dignity. Ours were flat, sad, and suspiciously cold -- kind of like the service. For the price, I expected at least one item to resemble real food. Instead, we paid sit-down prices for drive-thru disappointment. First time here... and definitely the last. read more

One of my very favorite places to eat. I especially love their chicken salad. They have a nice variety on their menu with reasonable prices.

Don't bother trying to order online. When I finally figured out how the online system worked, I went through the entire order with the automated system. After the entire order was complete, they said they couldn't connect with the restaurant. Somehow they managed to magically put me through to a live person at the restaurant, who was very nice. After going through the entire order again (except for the Cuban sandwich, which the computer told me they didn't have), they asked how I wanted to pay, which I said cash. They said they couldn't do that for a phone order, so I gave up. All in all 30 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Perhaps they could have said upfront they don't do cash for online orders? read more

First of all the sandwiches and the hoagies and the subs are absolutely delicious and the sides are as good with the rest of the foods and even the soups which I have not had yet, the fountain drink are as good but the flavor teas are absolutely a thirsty crunch with the good service they have. read more

Did some shopping in the area and decided to get a quick bit. Friendly efficient service, I had a chicken salad with pecans and my husband had the BLT. Both were freshly made and delicious. Salad was huge, took half home. Would definitely stop again when in the area. read more

The service was quick for our table but at least 35 minutes for the table next to us. Not even remotely busy, but we ordered and sat down AND got our food before them. The multigrain bread on the spicy southwest sandwich was not great. Avocado in the sandwich and on a salad was so hard you could barely stab it with a fork. Uhmm.... this was an experience. Firstly, the order was completely messed up. Asked for two kids pizzas, but we received two grilled toasties. Then, they forgot the mac and cheese that was supposed to go with the pizza. Also, they ran out of spuds after placing the order and paying! Why would you allow a customer to make an order for something that isn't avaliable? Anyways, had to place an order for something different after but it kind of ruined the experience. I also ordered a four cheese melt and they completely forgot to make it. It was on the receipt and everything and never got brought out until I asked for it.
