We were having to leave our house for a number of hours since it was being viewed by perspective buyers. Needing to grab some food we decided on McAlister's Deli. It was clean and bright and service was polite and quick. I ordered the Pick Two(half of a deli sandwich and soup. My wife ordered a huge baked potato that was loaded with toppings. My corned beef sandwich was OK, however, the broccoli cheese soup although tasty was skimpy. $40 for a half sandwich with soup and a baked potato seems a bit pricey to me. Perhaps going to New York Delis have spoiled me I suspect. read more

I have never been let down by them as my usual baked potato order spud and soup have always been on point. Popped in to puck up lunch on a Sunday afternoon at 1ish. It was super crowded. An option is to order online and pick up in the drive-thru. That would be my suggestion if you are ordering to go. So the resturant tables were mostly full, there were 6 to 8 folks ahead of me in line waiting to order and 5 or 6 folks waiting for their to go orders. All in all took me about 30 to 35 minutes to get thru the line and then wait for my order. But it was worth it. I ordered 3 pick twos, 1. Savannah Chopped Salad with raspberry pecan dressing, no cucumbers, no tomatoes and a Half Harvest Chicken Salad Sandwich, no tomato. Pickle on the side 2. Savannah Chopped Salad. Half French Dip. Pickle in the side. 3. Potato soup and a grilled chicken wrap with no honey mustard. 4. A grilled chicken Ceasars wrap with potato salad. All the food was excellent and even with the special requests it was all correct. Only missing item was the au jus for the French dip sandwich. My potato soup was hot and great flavor and the wrap was fresh and tasty. Others enjoyed their salads and my hubby really liked the chicken Ceasar wrap and thought the potato salad was great. What a great place. Starting with walking in and the place was clean, had friendly associates and the music was at a great level and wonderful selection. The menu was fabulous and had a hard time choosing. I got the New Yorker, with all pastrami in a ciabatta roll and potato salad. My husband got the Rueben with all pastrami on rye and potato salad. Both sandwiches were piled high with meat, had the perfect amount of cheese and condiments and the potato salad was delicious. Definitely will be going back. If your looking for a good deal, I recommend the 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad for $9.99. Thank you to the nice folks working there. Enjoyed our lunch tremendously. read more

Usually pretty decent but recently they reduced portions to the point that it's like why pay $11 for one slice of roast beef. Potatoes have been old the past 3-4 times I've gone. It may not be the experience for a in store visit however every time we use the drive through we get sub par, old or bad food. This is defiantly a healthy choice to be 'fast food'. All of their sandwiches are very tasty. The portions are enough for two meals. They have now a pick two. Picked up a to go order. I knew better than to try again. Baked potato with a tiny bit of cheese and small cup on the side less than 1/2 full of Chili. Very disappointing. This is the second time we have gotten a chili and cheese potato basically without any chili or cheese. read more

Food is good but whoever the female asst manager was tonight needs to know how to address people and not be a smart ass. you have be careful when you order, They don't tell you you're being charged extra for extra condiments and the tea flavorings are charged per pump. They don't tell you that either until it's too late. Be specific and ask for everything separately and make sure you're not charged for extra condiments. read more

I purchased a potato bar today for my staff for employee appreciation. I normally do not complain because I know we are all just doing our best. I called back up to the store to let them know I was dissatisfied with the amount of toppings we got for 13 potatoes! THIRTEEN. The young lady that answered the phone was very nice and understood my complaint. She then asked the manager/supervisor/leader on shift if they could prepare more toppings for me to pick up. She was told no. I spoke to her as well, her name was Mandy and she refused to help me, telling me her hands were tied. Corporate wasn't any help either. They did say they would forward my complaint but because each store is independently owned and operated, she could not guarantee that I would get a resolution to my problem.
