I arrived 25 min after ordering online. Waited in person for another 20 min. Told they were busy and behind, that's fine. Eventually Stood up to inquire about the order, told to sit down and wait. So, this is weird review for me. Jersey Mike's isn't local. Most probably wouldn't consider it remarkable enough to write about. But, I'm stuck recovering from a major surgery. I can't get out and I don't have much better to do than to try sandwiches that that have gone viral on TikTok. The number 7, Mike's way, swap out the bread for rosemary parmesan, cherry pepper relish, and pickles. I'm not normally a soda drinker, but Agave Vanilla Cream Soda sounded interesting enough. As for the sandwich, the rosemary and the spice from the cherry pepper relish were an interesting combination. I liked it. I would reorder it. The sandwich was a bit sloppy, but that doesn't bother me. It had a decent kick to it, but it definitely was not overtly hot. I'm a bit indifferent about the pickles. They normally really elevate a sub for me, but I could eat this one with or without. The soda was decent. I'm not really into sugary drinks. It didn't have caffeine. There was another one I would try, black cherry tarragon I think? I bet I wouldn't try either sodas twice. read more

I walked into the restaurant and ordered 2 regular sandwiches. I proceeded to show the coupon to the clerk and the code didn't work. Clerk called manager over that looks at the coupon and says "that's not us". That's not us? It's a jersey mikes coupon with specially your location.I didn't print it! The only problem I've had was the last time I paid for chips but got home & realized I didn't get them. You have to grab your own chips so that was kinda my fault. Thank you for opening in this location. Everything here is grade A. The staff are helpful even during "lunch rush" which with the current state of employment says everything. I admit it had been awhile since I had Jersey Mike's and forgot what the toppings were - needless to say they were patient with me and I appreciated it. I see why Jersey Mike's Subs doesn't have their Facebook page set up for someone to be able to leave a review. I was taking my guys there for lunch. After standing in line for 15 minutes, one of my guys walked out and went to Taco Bell across the parking lot because he was tired of waiting. Me and the other guy waited another 10 minutes to place our orders. He tried to order a hot sub, and was told he would be better to order a cold sub, because it would take 15 to 20 mins to get the hot sub. Do they not realize that some people only get 30 minutes for lunch? The back line had 6 people working on online orders with around 15 cold sandwiches being made and around 10 hot sandwiches on the grill. The front line was slow as shit, as there were only 6 people ahead of us and it took 25 minutes before someone took our order. Anyway, we left and went to Qdoba, where we had our orders made and were walking out the door within 5 minutes. To top off that bullshit, I get to my sisters house where we are going to do a few things and my niece who works/worked there, informed me that they called her in this morning to fire her. The reason they let her go after over 7 months of working there is because they said there was too much drama around her. She was a shift manager. The only "drama" around her was that she held the workers accountable during her shifts. So they missed out on selling 3 lunches today and any future business from me. read more

Happy that this sub shop opened up by my house! I went here for dinner and they seem well staffed and everyone was friendly. Clean area and plenty of parking. The only reason that I gave one less star was because while I and another person were waiting for our orders, they brought both hot sandwiches out at the same time and switched our orders and I didn't find out until I got home. This location opened late last year. It's been a very popular location since they opened. Store is very clean and well staffed. They are great at keeping up with the enormous amount of orders they do. Food is always very fresh. Hot sandwiches are made well. The sub in a tub is my favorite! All the delicious parts of a sub served on lettuce in a bowl. Great option for low carb or gluten free. They also offer gluten free bread. We love this place! Location is very convenient to Norton Audubon and the new Norton Medical Center. Not far from St X or the Louisville Zoo. Plenty of parking. Few tables outside for eating. read more

Ordered 2 sandwiches thru DoorDash and only received one. The bag was sealed and undisturbed so I knew that the delivery person hadn't taken it so called the store to report the missing sandwich and the guy who answered was very rude and even insinuated that I was lying. He claims to have placed me on hold (for less than a minute) to go look at the camera and states he saw both sandwiches placed in the bag which was an out right lie! I asked if I could see it on camera, he said no and he wasn't gonna refund me. He also said if I complain higher, he would get that complaint anyway because he's the general manager. I asked for his name and he hesitated and said "Jack" so he's probably lying about that too. DoorDash refunded me but it was not their mistake! Ordered at 2:34. Said it would be ready for curbside pickup at 2:49. I arrive at 2:53 and press I'm here. Someone comes out around 2:57 to tell me they saw I was here but it's still being made and it would be out soon. Waited until 3:20 with nothing. Finally decided to go inside. My order was sitting on the shelf and the same guy who had come out previously was doing nothing but goofing off. He didn't care at all. having seen the "opening soon" banners, i was really looking forward to JM on poplar level opening. im a huge lover of sub sandwiches and had heard good things about JM but never had one close enough to try it. first visit was bad. i, not being familiar with the menu, asked if i could get the italian but warm, if that was even an option? the guy at the register taking orders said yes that he could put the meat and cheese on the grill for me. i asked for that. as i stood there, i was given a sandwich quickly, never seeing it put on the grill. i checked the sandwich and it was completely cold, i reiterated to the girl who handed me my sandwich that the guy i placed the order with said he was going to cook the meat and cheese on the grill for me. the guy who i placed my order with overheard this and without even acknowledging me or the oversight, grabbed the sandwich from me. i watched as he unwrapped it, picked all the toppings off the sandwich and put the meat and cheese on the grill for a minute, tops. he then put the sandwich back together and handed back it to me. seriously? that didnt seem right to me but i took it and left. as suspected, sandwich was barely warm and cheese was not melted. i just chalked that up to inexperienced employees learning the groove. a few weeks later we decide to give JM's another try.... sadly, it was worse than before. my wife, kids and i ordered 4 sandwiches on the JM app (my son and i requesting ours "off the grill" warm italians again). my wife arrived at the designated pickup time (about 20 minutes after order was placed). after she arrived, she was told that the philly was done but they were still working on the other sandwiches. my wife sat there for another 20 minutes waiting for our sandwiches. mine and my son's sandwiches were again not hot, or even warm, and my wife's sandwich (a hot philly) was done first and left to sit getting cold while they made other sandwiches. when my wife brought this to the employee's attention, that her hot sandwich has been sitting in the bag getting cold for the 20+ minutes, the employee shrugged and said "im only one employee ma'am" (he was 1 of about 6 employees there working at the time). maybe it's just new store opening jitters, but 2 times in a row now JM has disappointed us. we're still considering if we should get them a 3rd chance. read more
