The food at McAlister's was absolutely delicious! We ordered the 12-inch Memphian, chicken tortilla soup, and the Spud Max as part of the Choose 2 deal. Everything tasted amazing. I took it home, and my husband and I shared it for lunch. It was perfect for a chilly, cloudy, wet Saturday. The restaurant was very nice and clean when I went inside to pick up the order. The bathroom was also clean, and even the outside of the building was well maintained, which is always a good sign of what to expect inside. Customer service was excellent from start to finish. Of course, I had the infamous sweet tea, so good! Overall, it was an awesome experience with delicious food, and I will definitely return to this location. One helpful tip: keep your food in a hot/cold bag until you're ready to eat. I keep one in my car, and it really helps. It took me about 40 minutes to get home, and we waited another 30 minutes before eating, and everything was still delicious. read more

I have never been to a crappy McAllister's until I visited this place. They do not have a drive-through they have a pick up lane only. Some new stupid orange sign that says MC8 on the front. Half of the tables in the dining area are covered with premade to go boxes. I made eye contact with one person long enough for them to ask me if I wanted to order and then tell me I needed to get in the other line. That person I made eye contact with for a good 10 seconds before I asked may I order something Where's the manager, McAllisters is a good restaurant; this one is run horribly. I was not only charged the full price for both items, but then I had to get refunded and the employees didn't seem to really want to help me at all. Plus, refunds are not instant and that's money I don't have anymore. I did not like this service, and it could definitely be improved. Tried to order on the app and got repeated errors. When I arrived, I was second in line and the restaurant was only about half full. Waited over 30 mins for two grilled cheeses. Had to ask twice about my order with no real information. It is obvious they are severely under staffed especially in the kitchen. I have tried to eat here 3x and each time I get told there is a wait (30-45mins) so we are discouraged to order. Meanwhile there is only one poor employee back there having to cook everything. First of all you have to pre order and pre pay (unless you dine in). I had paid and got in line, waited 15 minutes then was told they were out of spuds. (That I already paid for) So I decided to replace it with a half sandwich thinking it would only take a few minutes... we were asked to pull around the building so we waited another 20 minutes for a half of a sandwich. One lady was helpful, the lady that finally gave us our food after an hour said nothing to us.. just handed us the bag with a frown. RUDE! AWFUL! I have spent so much money at this McAlister's. I love eating McAllister's but today I went by and waited in line for 30 minutes just for the lady to come tell me at the window that I needed to walk inside and wait on my order because they had a big party inside that they were taken care of. As I walked inside I saw the "big party" they were talking about was a party of 20 people. THEY TOOK AN ADDITIONAL10 minutes to get my order gave me the wrong chips and was very rude about changing the chips out. I've been going to Mcallister's for a long time. Today I was disappointed in the service and food. The cashier made a mistake in placing our order for 2 Spud Max potatoes and 2 teas. She rang up the wrong item. When it came out, I sent it back. I approached the cashier to show where she made the mistake and another person questioned me. I told her about the mistake and I would be willing to pay the difference. All this person was interested in was getting the $7.19 difference. It was off putting to say the least. The smell is absolutely terrible. There are dirty mop buckets left unattended. The workers stood around playing with their hair and chasing each other while I stood there waiting to order for 10 minutes. I then waited 20 + minutes for an uncrustable, and a bowl of soup.
