This past Friday my wife and I went to McAlisters for lunch. Cheap date, I get the pecan salad, My wife gets the kid meal mac n cheese. Because of her battle with colorectal cancer, she is limited on food choices and eats very small portions, so it works out well. Anyway, the meal comes with a small cookie. This time however, the girl didn't give her the cookie. When my wife went up to ask her, the girl with the green hair and neck tattoo, told her management had a meeting last week and decided cookies in the kids meal are only for kids and you are clearly an adult! After stewing over this answer for a bit, my wife went back up there for the refill on the drink and asked the manager about the cookie. The manager said, OMG, no, that's not true, I'm so sorry for that, and handed her two cookies. So now we're ok with staff making up their own rules?!?!!

Cup of Ice request from the Customer who just spent $25 for their meal.

I came into the store for a Door Dash order for the customer. After picking up the order the customer requested a "cup of ice" with their order soo l went back into the store. I asked the Manager on Duty for a cup of water. Because I was wearing a mask, therefore my words were muffled so she came closure to hear my request. I repeated myself and asked may l have a cup of water. She heard me and walked to the kitchen to continue boxing and order and after returning from the kitchen still no water. After observing her blatantly disregard disrespect. I asked the cashier working the counter for item. The manager then decides to approach the counter only to darken and harden their gazing of judgment at me. After l received the cup of iced the manager on duty begins to exchange words with their subordinate to inform them to not provide me with anything outside of the DoorDash order. McAllister's, she is a manager and a representation of your company and business model. And her actions clearly demonstrates the Mission, Vision & Purpose of your company is to be disrespectful, exhibiting condescending behavior, to emboldened their posturing of authority for a cup of ice is beyond my comprehensions. However it is evident I won't ever patronize with your company and I will continue to share this experience with others.

It was my first time here although I have seen them in my travels. Finally, I was able to stop and give it a try! I want to say this is like a manly Panera. And I mean that in a good way! This location is new so it was very clean. The staff is friendly-they check up on you, get refills of beverages, and take your plates. I had the Beef and Cheddar with horseradish. It was meaty (you can get extra for an up charge) and the bread fresh. The sides were different which I liked: potato salad, coleslaw, soup and others. They also have a 2 combo meal like 1/2 sandwich/soup/salad. You can get a Spud - baked potato that has a lot of topping choices which is another reason I like this place. They have sweet tea which they say is famous but I didn't try it. They also have nachos to share which is on my list for next time. It is definitely a place for lunch but could be a casual dinner. I did not notice if they served beer but that would get my husband in the door at night!

It's unfortunate that I receive the exact opposite on my second visit. I was waiting to be helped and they took two white men, and an elder white lady before me, even though I was acknowledged. I can understand if they're older and they wanna be helpful first, but there is no communication on this.... And then I saw the sign. I should've taken a photo cause it was a little startling, and unfortunate that they expressed so openly their political position and hate for Wokeness. I've heard some stories how they are true MAGA and slightly racist, but you have to experience it for yourself. You have to give a place a chance. And it saddens me the way I was treated on my second time back. Folks everywhere are just so sad and upset these days, every life has been disrupted in someway the last 10 years for multiple reasons. It's stressful out here, but it's also stressful trying to get good quality food with all the regulation changes. I travel out of the country multiple times a year and American food is just the worst. So I'll keep searching for quality in both the product and in the customer service. In some small way, it's good to know a store position because I don't wanna give them my business. It's so weird to fight against progress. And it's even weirder to think Wokeness is a thing. Stay asleep.

They have a good selection of Greek olive oils in the big 3 gallon square metal containers (101oz) most of them under $30. You cannot beat that price. Also they carry all sorts of Feta cheeses including sheep feta, Bulgarian Feta, kashkaval and other E.European cheeses. As far as meats they carry all sorts of dried salamis including Hungarian, Romanian such as Sibiu, Polish kabanos sausage and many other dried or smoked meats some that I've never seen before. Lots of canned stuff as well, if you're into making stuffed cabbage they have a good variety of canned cabbage and grape leaves. I'm Romanian but I grew up with a variety of products I mentioned above from all over that region. The service: I would've given them 5 stars, the only reason I took a star away is because of the service, the girl at the counter seemed to be mostly clueless when I asked her to give me some information about a few products. Her English was horrific but that's fine it didn't bother me. Also I think we've gotten used to deal with bigger businesses where they train their employees to behave courteously, she was on the phone yelling in Serbian a good part of the time when I asked her a few questions she talked to me like I was there kind of bugging her phone conversation which I didn't think was very professional. Overall don't let that stop you from visiting this place, if you grew up in the Balkans region or E.Europe in general you will find something that will bring back memories for sure.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Service, Product Quality, and Manager Conduct…read more I am submitting this complaint to document a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience at your store that warrants immediate review by leadership. I have been a loyal Whole Foods customer for years, regularly purchasing flowers and groceries, which makes this situation especially upsetting. I recently purchased flowers for my mother, only to have them wither the very next day. My mother was upset, and I contacted the store to resolve the issue. When I spoke with a manager named Mia (possibly spelled Mya), I was told to "bring pictures of the flowers." I found this request insulting and unnecessary -- particularly because she was the one who rang up my purchase and because I have built a consistent, professional rapport with her as a regular customer. Being asked to "prove" the issue felt dismissive and accusatory, as if my integrity were in question. When I returned to the store for a replacement, I was told that I had not been charged for the flowers in the first place -- an error made by the store. Manager Josh then stated that "associates make mistakes all the time." While I understand that mistakes happen, what concerned me was the lack of accountability and the complete absence of any meaningful customer consideration. Despite the inconvenience, the poor product quality, and the disrespectful interaction I experienced, I was not offered a discount, an even exchange, or any gesture of goodwill. To make matters worse, during this visit I purchased additional flowers and an orchid at full price. Even then, no one made any effort to acknowledge the situation beyond repeated apologies. Apologies without action do not resolve the issue, nor do they demonstrate that my loyalty or business is valued. A customer who has been inconvenienced, insulted, and sold a defective product deserves more than empty apologies. Respect is shown through action -- whether that is a discount, a replacement without interrogation, or a simple gesture that acknowledges the customer's experience. As the saying goes, "People don't care unless they know you care." At this point, I did not feel cared for, valued, or respected. In the movie Jerry Maguire, the famous line "Show me the money" became iconic because it represented proof, not promises. I am asking Whole Foods to show me -- through action, not words -- that my business matters. If this is not something your store can demonstrate, then I will take my loyalty elsewhere and make my concerns known. I am requesting a formal review of this incident, including the conduct of the managers involved, and an appropriate resolution that reflects the seriousness of this experience.

The lady who I assumed was the owner/manager was very kind and got me my order of a large croissant sandwich meal , key lime pie bar, and an iced coffee. The sandwich was delicious and I upgraded it to a meal. I kind of panic picked my side and chose the potato salad. It is a very eggy-based potato salad and is definitely the choice for you if you prefer that! And the sandwich was great and I was pretty happy. The key lime pie bar had a perfect ratio of key lime mixture and the shortbread crust. I love crust and appreciated that there was the perfect amount to enjoy both flavors. The texture of the key lime pie + lemon bars are more whipped/cohesive compared to the usual lemon bar's acidic softness. I think this would be perfect for people with food sensory issues or just people who don't like the texture of normal lemon bars. Overall, I was pretty happy with my visit and glad to update it with a way better review :) So glad to see how nice the business looks and appreciate the management!
