My experience at this particular Stan's was really spectacular because all the time I have been visiting this franchise no one has ever spoke of any of its perks and advantages to being a customer here‼ I have spent so much money at this franchise that I really felt slighted. However, thank God for an excellent employee that really serves with passion, knowledge and professionalism who is really kindhearted as well! I enjoyed my time with Lexie L. so much that I spent more money than I came in to spend‼ What an extraordinary employee you have in Lexie L. I really appreciated my time with her as well as Jocelyn C. The store was very clean and restrooms‼ Food was delicious, delicious donuts and drinks Lexie even had me try a new drink that I will be having again in another time! Great employees! Sticky floors, welcome announcement when you walk in the door, so many fresh donuts and other pastries to try, and a variety of coffee and drink selection plus sandwiches - this was a unique experience. At first I felt the donuts and sandwiches were priced pretty high, until I tried them and felt they were so fresh and tasty that they were priced fine. It's not the cheapest place to purchase donuts, but the quality is pretty high. The service was just excellent. They welcome you once you walk in the door and are so patient with each person they assist. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Except that they clean their floors better. I visited about :30 minutes after they opened and the floors were so sticky, I was still sticking to the ground when I walked outside back to my car. I tried a variety of donuts + a breakfast sandwich + a coffee drink. The donuts were great - each one tasted better than the last. My favorite right now is the Pistachio Lemon Old-Fashioned! It's so good! I also got a sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant. I felt the amount of ingredients inside the croissant were lacking a bit. I included photos below. I was so excited to try Stan's Donuts in Schererville, especially their new Affy Taffy Donut -- but unfortunately, it really missed the mark. The donut is a cake-style donut on a stick, covered in caramel and nuts. I understand the cake-style choice, but the flavor of the donut itself was off -- it tasted like it had cinnamon or some kind of spice in it that just didn't work. A plain cake donut would have been much better. Then there's the topping -- the caramel and nuts should've been the star, but they used salted peanuts, which completely threw off the flavor. Between the salty nuts and the odd-tasting donut, it just didn't come together at all. I think if they switched to a simple, plain cake donut and used unsalted peanuts, they could really have a winner. For now, though, it's a no for me. read more

It's a very nice set up inside. DONT USE THE MOBILE APP. Granted I arrived earlier by 4 minutes(for a 10:19 ready time) so I could grab and go which every order taken at the counter was able to do. yet my online order just sat behind a cashier and it's now like warm and not as good. I decided to go talk to the cashier at 10:32 and was then instructed to check and see if it was correct. No apology for the wait just an odd tension between the cashier and cook who seemed to me to be overwhelmed just trying to get food out. Thanks for the free drink tho. read more

Stan's Donuts is a chain that originated in Illinois (I think). This is the first location in Indiana. It just opened the first week of September 2025. Business has been steady since they opened, but service is pretty fast. I went this morning around lunchtime and opted to use the self-serve kiosk. They offer a pretty decent selection of flavors. They also have a few sandwiches and baked goods like croissants and bagels. I ordered a couple of sandwiches and a few donuts. I sat down in the cozy, retro pink-themed lobby to wait for my order. Not even five minutes later they called my name. I grabbed my order and drove home. When I got home I realized that my sandwiches weren't in the order, so I drove back and sure enough they had my sandwiches. So, I drove back home and served my family our food only to find that one of the sandwiches was -- let's just say-- a little on the dark side. My mom tried to eat it but it was inedible. I reluctantly decided to take the sandwich back to the restaurant. I asked for the manager and she came out right away. She listened to my experience and after a brief conversation she offered to refund my entire meal. She was incredibly kind, apologetic and thanked me for letting her know about my experience. She rightfully explained that they are new and still working the kinks out. She said they can't fix it if they don't know so she was grateful that I came back. Even though it took three visits to get a satisfactory outcome, I feel the overall experience was satisfactory because this manager did what was necessary to make things right. The 2 employees that does pick up talks most of the time doesn't care that ur waiting and then my order been done and was sitting by the drive thru lane and never told me until I interrupted there unprofessional conversation and asked wat was talking my order so long do not recommend employees suck there especially the 2 working online and mobile I didn't get there names but very unprofessional nd not work related conversations They also made my latte wrong bc they were to busy conversating nd not attending to there customers Better employees please read more

We tried Stan's in Schererville for the first time. Although nothing appealed to me, I purchased two cinnamon rolls and a happy birthday donut, 2 coffees and a hot chocolate. I tried to pay with a $50 bill and they wouldn't accept it so I had to use credit card. It didn't make much sense to me because the prices are high and refusing to take a $50 bill seemed contrary. The Coffee is good however they did not call our names when our drinks were prepared and they forgot the hot chocolate. I'm afraid the same thing that happened to Krispy Kreme will happen to this store. The people behind the counter were apologetic; however, I would not recommend this store for donuts. Just like someone else wrote, the floors still are sticky ha. Pumpkin spice latte don't get it, not worth the 7.25. The premium donuts are 5$, are they worth it, only if you get them in a box, the chocolate donuts stick to the paper as if the donuts are melting, if they put in bag. Very pricey 2 iced coffees and 3 donuts 28$, plus tip. Not a place you'd go every day. 28$ id go to a sit down place. It will be a fad like the cupcake places were. Worth a try! read more
