Black Angus Club + Mac & Cheese
    Chris D.

Ordered the black angus club which was tasty and filling. The regular order is basically two quarter slices of an entire sandwich and each 1/4 slice is very thick, impossible to take a full bite out of the sandwich. Taste was excellent, high quality roast beef with thin slices of cheddar and Swiss, onion and creamy horseradish sauce. I would order this again easily. Mac n cheese side - decent taste and texture but very small portion, the size of very small ice cream scoop. This place is fairly new, a large space with plenty of seating. Convenient service feature is you can order from your table by scanning the QR code at your table.

Food was excellent. Service was good. Price was a bit high. For a restaurant that opened less than a year ago, the inside was dirty and graphics were already peeling off the walls. Bathroom was very dirty. For two sandwiches, it was a bit slow to get as well. There were no other customers inside while I was there.

Nice new clean deli. Very spacious dining area. Very attentive friendly staff. I had the New Yorker, pastrami and corned beef stacked with Swiss and brown mustard on marble rye with a side of potato salad. The New Yorker was perfectly sliced pastrami and corned beef the Swiss cheese was melted and the right amount of brown mustard. Very flavorful. The potato salad was vey creamy. Really liked it was mustard based. Plus there was a pickle. No sandwich is complete without a pickle on the side. Coke products are sold here.

    Italian botched

First visit to McAllister's deli this is what our visit was like we ordered a Italian and an Italian shouldn't come with mayo or mustard when you asked for oil and vinegar, but they gave us mayo so they had to remake it that our replacement sandwich came with mustard and oil and vinegar dripping it was disgusting the worst sandwich I've ever eaten and only a few bites of it. I would not recommend this place. They gave us our order without our chips. Had to go back gave us our order without our cookie had to go back in not to mention remaking the sand itself, which was horrible and they couldn't seem to get the sandwich, right ill not be back You shouldn't be making sandwiches. if you can't get an Italian, right

The customer care experience has been nothing short of of horrible. My last order was missing items and was 10 minutes late. I completed the survey they sent and received an email from Kim, the general manager, asking me to call. I call the next day and was told she no longer works there -- and hasn't in awhile. I explain the email I received the day prior... nothing, no comment, no effort to help fix the issue. I ask for a manager -- more of the same. Kim no longer works at that location. Zero help otherwise. This was my second visit to the restaurant. The food is pricey, but not bad... the help at the location leaves something to be desired. First time there was for a pick-up and they forgot my drink, I realized it before leaving. The restaurant was empty and the staff just seemed to be confused and with no interest in helping anyone. Second time, again a carryout - staff was a bit better, but still seemed confused and unorganized. Despite placing and paying for my order online, it doesn't look like they make the order until the customer arrives --- which means you wait and wait. Zero communication, zero help from the counter help. Both times at McAlister's has been a poor experience. It could take some time for a new restaurant to get their act together --- but, my second visit was just as bad and the follow-up from the General Manager that doesn't work there and the reaction from the staff seems to confirm that this store is poorly operated. I find it difficult to trust a staff with my food when they can barely help a customer.

Saw this place under construction for the last 2-3 months. I had extremely high hopes for a new deli place. Sadly it was a flop in my book. I have been to front page, bread basket, dilly deli and even house of Ruben. And love the size of the sandwiches at 12+ dollars you are getting good value. Usually those sandwiches are to big to eat in one sitting. I tried McAllister Club sandwich ( which is a signature item) very very skimpy and almost no bacon and looked like 3 pieces of bread. I have been to many family restaurants and paid about the same price for a club sandwich which was more filling and fresher ingredients. (Real Turkey). My side salad was bigger than my whole sandwich combined. Which to me would raise a red flag. Staff very friendly, atmosphere very relaxing kind of a Panera feel. Adequate parking, good location, just very over priced for a deli sandwich. Best of luck to the restaurant may possibly try again. But highly doubt it knowing there are better options available on the same street.

Too pricey and the amount of food you get for the price isn't a good value. The quality has dropped over the years.

I read in the Troy Times newspaper that Troy…read moreChamber of Congress was hosting a "Step up to the Plate" event to support the Troy School District where you could dine at 12 local restaurants and get 20% off your bill on April 12th to April 17th. Central Park Deli was the first restaurant on the list to participate. The article said mention the ad from Troy Times or Facebook to get the 20% off your bill. Afterwards, save your receipt to turn into the Troy school of your choice. The school that collects the most money in receipts will win $1,000 cash prize. Unfortunately the employees said no, we aren't participating in that and other customers mention this and we won't honor the discount. I showed them the FB announcement where their Deli was clearly listed and they still said No. ??? This made me frustrated. My total for a wrap, cauliflower bites, and a drink was $22. No discount. False advertising and unpleasant customer service. I posted the Facebook announcement of their restaurant listed below in my pictures. On the positive side, the deli is very clean and food was delicious. Their menu is extensive with many choices of wraps, salads, sandwiches and soup. I appreciate you can customize your wrap with a gluten-free wrap and not many delis in the area have that option.
