This is our third time attending an event at this venue. Overall it's a nice enough auditorium. The acoustics are good. Sight lines are also good. Previously we sat in the balcony, but this event was open seating and we found seats almost in the middle, side to side and just under the balcony, so really good seats position wise. The seats themselves left something to be desired as the seat backs are a bit too reclined for my comfort. The seat cushions themselves were worn and a bit firm as well. We pay a premium price for a great concert, " A Touch of Frost." The concert was as noted great, kudos to the performers. The cesspool odor entering the building was something I didn't expect. Also I found the upkeep on the place pretty bad; dirty floors, peeling paint on handrails. If McAllen is going to charge premium prices for this venue they should keep this place in better shape. Parking management was bad too as a lot just north of it was closed. A rating of "Pooh!" For the venue. read more

This was my first time attending an event of this type so I didn't know what to expect. I attended the Annie's broad way showing which was great. This was one of the very first if not the first events at this place so you can say I am part of history now The building looks beautiful from the outside with all the colored lights and the inside isn't any short of amazing neither. It's a very modern looking building inside but what amazed me the most was one when we got inside the theater room. That room looked like they sure put a lot of work into this place because it all looks top of the line. They sell alcohol and snacks for those looking to have the full experience. During the breaks you get a second chance to buy a drink or some snacks which sometimes you need to get through the rest of the play that your fiancé loves I do have to say that to come out to this place you need to bring out that nice suit you haven't used in a while because everyone seems to dress very nicely for these events. read more
