I was calling in today asking about the bill and trying to decide if I wanted to stay with Erie or switch companies and the guy kept repeating "well we close in 5 minutes" or "well I can do that tomorrow, we close in 4 minutes". Like I get it I work a nine to five too but if a customer calls in with a question about a random bill for almost half a grand you should answer the damn question. Andrew was rude, impatient, and had the most useless answers to my questions. The agency is not available after hours or on weekends so I would advise not insure with them.

I'd been working with a Vanguard advisor since 2013, but they do recommend you also check with a CPA to determine how to best plan for tax efficiency year after year. I went to the appointment, was kept waiting a bit (no big deal) and once I was in the office this person (Tatyana) looked at my paperwork and started in on me with a very hard sell to get out of the market and let her manage my retirement. I said, "I just want some advice on managing my tax exposure on an annual basis". She said, "I have all of my clients out of the market" she showed me a chart of market trends since 1928 forward..."the market has risen ***% since blah blah blah. How long do you think that will go on????" You are not safe in the market, now. (Well, I've been through the 1999 crash, and fortunately was smart enough to balance my investments before the 2008 "great recession") Tatiyana's pronouncements are scare tactics to doubt what you know and your own investing knowledge and skills. She was not pleasant and was extremely arrogant. She told me to think about it, and come back in a week. I did not go back. Don't go unless you are a lamb wanting to be sheared/fleeced.

At this point i asked to just forget it. Apparently this business is so busy they dont need or want my business, very unfortunate. They also had my last name in their system COMPLETELY different from what it is, despite me having given all my information twice before, and phonetically. It makes me not have confidence in their ability to be organized or communicate properly.

At MedStar Georgetown University Hospital I was parking my car and hit a cement wall doing one mile an hour. I drove the car home driving about 50 miles. I brought the car to Tri State Collision Center and an Adjuster from Allstate came out and determined the damage at around $4,100 dollars. A few days later I was informed by Tri-State that the damage was $21,000, an enormous discrepancy of $17,000 dollars! As Allstate wasted 7 or 8 days getting their final approval, I'm paying for a rental that lasted 21 days, although Enterprise didn't charge me for the 21st day. So if the original adjuster didn't make a $17,000 dollar mistake, I could have saved 6 or 7 or even 8 days on my 20 day rental. I asked for a $200 dollar rebate on my car rental, but Jessica Petrucci, from claims, denied my request, even though I've been with Allstate for over three decades and the fact that the first adjuster made an enormous error that cost me extra days paying for a rental. I also asked to speak with her and she never called me like I was told that she would. So for $200 dollars, I'm leaving Allstate by January 26th. 2026 and Allstate will lose the approximately $3,300 dollars I pay yearly for all my insurance.
