Porters guys came and told us we needed a new motor - took it apart, couldn't get it working again, couldn't find a new one, then ghosted us - left us high and dry without heat in the middle of December and sub-zero temperatures. So unprofessional .... who does that to another person?? After a week with no heat and realizing Porter was lying and had no intention of helping us, we managed to find someone to rescue us. Porters had done work for us a few years back and were great. Hence the reason for calling them this time ..... but Larry and his son no longer run the business....it has the same name but is NOT Porter! Justin had no right attempting to run this business under the Porter name.

I was immediately assisted by a knowledgeable and friendly sales person who never pressured or attempted to redirect me. I had already researched the best price and knew what I would likely pay for a speed queen. To my surprise, the price at WA was far better than anything else I had found on line or anywhere else. Tack on free delivery and I saves at least $180 as compared to Best Buy. Delivery was great too. On time and right where I wanted it. This store is amazing and local. The people know their products, stand behind them and are very customer focused. If you need any appliances, I urge you to give Watertown Appliance a chance before just running to big box.
