We setup an appt for see 2 motorhomes. My friend went to look them over for me. She stood there for over 25 minutes. Service saw her but sales totally ignored her. One man was sitting typing on his cell never looking up. Several men were hovered over a computer screen and never acknowledged her. She left mad and tried calling and calling first asking for the SM then finally the GM. Apparently their calls go through an out of state switchboard. Constant disconnects. Finally she told the man who kept answering screening the calls why she was mad. Bam! The sales manager called.. oh they were having AT+T phone problems odd no service trucks! The man on cell at first was the man that made the appt LOL then midway through the call no it was a customer using his cell completing a credit app! LOL with all the computers around he was using his unsecure phone? ..... then the man who setup the appt texted to she is she was coming... No, she had been there and not a soul said hello. It was a ghost town. Empty parking lot but 3 customers filling out credit reports on their cells... Previously I had gone to look the salesperson wanted me to trade in my car without knowing even what it was! Nope! Not going back! read more

When we do get to talk to a person, they won't follow through with the things they say they will do. Our buying and service with McClain's RV in Oklahoma City was okay, but selling our RV through them with Consignment has been a nightmare! They sold our Class C RV within a couple of weeks, but that's where the good experience ended. Getting our loan paid off from the sell, took over 6+ weeks, thus the payoff kept changing due to interest and payments due. We kept having to intervene and get new pay offs from the bank and send McClain's, but they would still not send it in time before it would change again. They are horrible at returning our calls regarding the payoffs and when we went in person, they had numerous excuses, always passing the buck. We also had warranty money due back to us, and that was another awful experience. They didn't seem to know what amounts were due back to us, where it should go, or if it was paid towards the loan amount, or where? To this day, now almost 4 months later, we don't know the money transactions that occurred or to where they paid, as they never sent us ANY paperwork regarding the sell of OUR unit. No bill of sale, no receipt, and no transactions showing amounts sent towards our payoff. We have asked several times for this paperwork. We deserve to see the bill of sale, even if buyers names are blacked out, as requested. It was our RV. We very seldom get a call back despite leaving numerous messages and voicemails. When we go there in person, we're told they will check in to it, or that's not their department, it must be corporate, etc, etc, and that someone will call us back later that day. They never do that. We highly do not recommend using their buy back or consignment program! read more

Not a bad place for repairs, good technicians they know what they are doing. But beware, take out the items you don't to come up missing. including tools electronics and personal items. i made that mistake and cost me $1000.00 to replace the items that came up missing, plus the cost of the repairs I had done. read more

I loved our visit here we drove from Mesa Arizona to Oklahoma City to purchase our 2021 Transcend 221rb. Jeremy was our sales guy from start to finish always returning our calls up to our arrival on February 16th 2021. The staff was amazing very kind to us and our two fur babies that we were traveling with it had been snowing and super cold out so they made us feel right at home in their cozy waiting area right next to the fire place. They have an amazing staff in the finance department to help you finance that perfect trailer that's right for you. I highly recommend McClain's RV for your next purchase or service. The lady that distracted us while they "prepared" our RV and paperwork was nice, that is the only reason I am giving them 2 stars. The rest of our experience was terrible, they did not get our RV ready even though they knew for 4 days we were returning to purchase. The RV tech that winterized the RV left all tank gates open, didn't replace waterlines appropriately, so we thought our RV was leaking water and the water pump was not functioning. They didn't fix the issues they "promised to fix," which they had broken. They put our sway bar attachments on incorrectly which caused them to shift while driving the RV off the lot, almost piercing our gas tank, which could have killed us!!! They didn't switch our backup camera, like they promised they would handle, so we had to do it in the dark while they were rushing us out of the gate. They make you sign something that says they will fix stuff, but they do not care to follow up and give you like 5 minutes to even check the RV??!! Their customer service is pathetic, at best,, not what I was expecting in Oklahoma. I would never recommend this dealership, almost as bad as Camping World, and we will not return to this dealership when we upgrade in the future!!!! read more

The service we received was definitely 5 Star and would recommend this shop to everyone needing service. The technician definitely was knowledgeable as two mobile service techs looked at the problem and said "above my pay grade"! Thank you McClains for getting us back on the road with water. BUYER BE VERY AWARE AND WORRIED! WE bought a used 2015 Southwind with V-10 engine. On the drive home the check engine light came on. After McClain's agreed to take it to be repaired they backed out and refused to pay for it. They sold the RV to me with a Bad catalytic converter and wouldn't man up to pay for it. We went into McClains RV in Oklahoma City to purchase a new RV and pay cash. After finding one we liked we made a copy of their offer with our phone and they told us to think about it and we left. Never signed anything. We checked out their review through various sources like BBB and others that are reliable and found horrible reviews. We walked away and never contacted them. Then today we get a letter from our credit bureau saying they pulled our credit. How did they do that without our permission or social security number? We have filed a FORMAL complaint with the Oklahoma Attorney Generals office. Don't walk but run away from these scam artist. They are not honest and they should be ashamed of themself for trying to take advantage of senior citizens. read more

We purchased our Solitude late last July 2023. It had several issues that needed repair. The Solitude was purchased new over 6 figures. After multiple phone calls, emails, and texts we finally picked up our Solitude on November 13, 2023. They didn't clean the unit inside or outside. We plugged into shore power and everything seemed to be working great. One of the issues was the replacement of one refrigerator door and the freezer drawer. Upon leaving Oklahoma for Florida I discovered that the ice maker wouldn't work. Upon investigation it had water in the reservoir but wouldn't freeze. I also noticed that $200 worth of frozen beef had begun to thaw. The reason as I soon discovered was that the seals were missing on the two doors your company replaced. The level of incompetence you guys display just keeps on giving!  4 months of it now. The bed was never repaired. I'm not sure what was going on when you were making the repairs but the island has gouges and marks all over it. I'm guessing when whomever brought in the replacement recliners they did it. Russell (Service Advisor) is the only person I dealt with that showed any professionalism. He apologized for the delay many times. He was also extremely courteous. Nick (Sales Manager) also displayed a desire to help us. Alex made the sale and forgot about us, real nice! Jason (Service Manager) is worthless. He never made one followup call to advise us of any progress. Actually no one made any attempt to give us status updates. I had to demand to see him to get anything accomplished. In fact I had to show up in person because other forms of communication didn't work. Again worthless. I will never do business with McClains again, ever. I've purchased two Grand Designs from your store. Thank goodness the Imagine never had any issues. Grand Design has a great product. So if you want to purchase one go out of state. read more

I purchased a new 2600RB in 2021. The hot water tank has never worked properly. I took it back to McClains 3 times, and still the hot water tank did not work. I had a mobile RV tech come out and paid for repair. Now I have hot water. I gave 1 star but 0 stars is really the rating. Do yourself a favor and purchase your RV from another dealer. read more

I just purchased a trailer here and could not be more pleased with the customer service by Salesman Mike Latham. He was extremely prompt, courteous, a sense of humor, and most importantly very trustworthy when an issue came up with trailer not being ready for shipment to Colorado. After my own customer no-support experience with this dealership's Parts Dept. and reading yelp reviews, I understand their low scores. We're fulltime RVers from Tennessee and traveling around the Midwest. After a tire blowout in Montana destroyed the plastic wheel well skirt, I called McClains RV Superstore on Sept 30th to order a replacement skirt. After explaining my situation and what I needed, an unidentified parts man said I needed to email Michele D. who handles special orders. I emailed Michele on Oct 3rd, providing camper specs and photos of the damaged skirt. She responded 2 days later stating she was "Trying to get ahold of Forest River and would let me know as soon as I can." I never heard from her again. I arrived in Oklahoma City 4 weeks later (Nov 1) and could've had my skirt waiting on me had it been ordered when I called. The story doesn't end there either. I called the parts dept. on Thursday, Nov 4th, to leave feedback for the parts manager. When I asked for the manager, I was told he would have to call me back. The unidentified male took my name and number and it's Monday evening Nov 7th and I'm still waiting for a call back. One of two things are happening at this dealership, either they're extremely busy and I just fell through the crack, or the reviews shine a light on a business culture where management or 2nd tier managers don't care about customer service and therefore don't hold there people accountable. I could never recommend this RV dealership to anyone and would drive elsewhere for sales, service, and parts. You would be wise to do the same. read more

on 1 August I called McClain RV and spoke at length to Shawn about a 2023 Revel. I was on their website so it was easy to speak specifically about a particular Revel by using the account number. While talking with Shawn I printed out the spec sheet with the vin number, When I took the vin number to Mercedes it turns out the warranty had been activated 10 months earlier so this new unit didn't have a full warranty remaining on it. Today, 12=August I once again spoke with Shawn about this issue on the Revel we had discussed, then Shaun mentioned to me this Revel had hail damage. Never again will I set foot in this business. I went in looking for parts for our travel trailer shower door. One person acknowledged that I was even in the store. When I walked in, a salesman (assumption) said hello, then went back to leaning on the wall. I walked into and around the parts and accessories section, and nobody said boo or anything else to me. There were seven employees at/in the sales counter. I can excuse a couple of them, one was obviously a new employee, and one was "assisting" a customer, but it sounded more like a discussion about politics. I stood by the counter for five minutes, and never even got a glance from anyone. Two were arguing about who the stapler belonged to, the rest were just watching that discussion and the political discussion or just scratching their butts. Towards the end of this past year I purchased a Class C RV from McClain's RV in OKC. After several weeks I discovered that there was a problem with the unit. The problem was caused during shipping. In other words, McClains didn't do it, Thor didn't do it, and Chevy didn't do it. But somewhere in shipping, the problem was created. I spent weeks trying to find a solution and finally found a trucking company who would fix it, however the bill was several thousand dollars. I fixed it, paid for it and sent all the documentation of what happened to McClains asking for a reimbursement. Personally, I thought it was a wild shot at best given the reputation of the RV industry. Within two hours they called me back to say, "As you know, we didn't do it, we know you didn't do it but it happened. You bought it in good faith and it should've been working right so we are going to pay for it out of our own pocket because it's the right thing to do. We are sending you a check this week." What impressed me was, they did the right thing. That is something you don't see in today's world very often. Within a week I received the check for several thousand dollars for a reimbursement for repairs. My RV is now doing great. This was a frustrating time because it was a specialized repair and no one had the ability to fix it. Once I found a shop to do that, sent all documentation to McClains and the invoice I had paid, they responded back in less than 2 hours in a way I could not have been more pleased. I purchased a 2017 Minnie Winnie last fall from McClain's RV in OKC. At the time of the final paperwork, I was given a form co-signed by a Service Manager stating everything in the RV had been checked out and was working. As I left, they handed me a plastic bag with 8 keys. Unfortunately, when I drove 4 hours home, I found the following: Door into RV didn't lock and lock was broken; smoke alarm didn't have a battery and even with one it didn't work; light in cab didn't have a bulb; propane hadn't been filled up as promised; awning hadn't been cleaned as promised; oil in generator hadn't been changed or filled; transmission oil was low, and I couldn't lock any of the underneath storage bays because none of the keys worked. If I could have given McClain's no stars, I would have. I was so disgusted, and continue to be so, that McClain's fraudulently stated everything was working when it wasn't. if you are buying a used RV from McClain's, do yourself a favor and have an independent RV inspector inspect it. Just because McClain's says everything is working, doesn't necessarily mean it's the truth. read more

Negotiated from San Francisco and tested their patience with delayed trips (with my trade) to OKC. They stood by their word to honor the deal even with a couple weeks delay. At the dealership it's no nonsense from when you open the door. I have purchased many RVs from both CA and NV over 12 years and have never had service like this. Sadly I'm too far away to work with their service folks but form a sales perspective the experience was A++. Fairness, honesty, integrity are not normal behaviors at an RV dealership. I walked in and was looking at rvs and even called in advance to make sure of closing time etc and was there for an 1 hour and a half looking at rvs and not once did a salesman approach or ask if I or my mother needed help the entire time I was there so I was disappointed because of that but felt like at one point of that time spent there I would have been addressed by staff at least once during my time there. So not sure but I think I'm going to go make a purchase some where else. read more

We purchased a 2018 Thor ACE in June. The purchase process was acceptable except for a couple of minor snags but all in all we were satisfied. Unfortunately it had a crack in the water tank so we had to have it replaced along with some other items. We took the motor coach in 3 times for repairs that were either not done at all or poorly done. We finally gave up and are taking it to another shop. read more

If you want to buy an RV here the salesmen do a good job selling you one but that is where the customer service STOPS! We bought our Winnebago View two years ago, beware the salesmen are sneaky and will sell you one without telling you if anything is wrong with a brand new RV. When we went to drive the motorhome the salesman realized the battery was dead and I saw him go to the override switch that uses the house batteries as a back up power source. When went to reach down to the switch and I asked the he was doing? I knew enough about the motorhome what he was doing but I wanted to see if he would tell me the truth. He tried to change the subject but I pushed him for an answer, which I finally got. Then there was a shimmy to the front wheels which he tried to blow off too. We came to a deal and part of that was to get those items fixed. When we came to pick it up we were told we would get a walk through. WHAT A JOKE. Every time I asked a detailed question the guy would say "didn't the salesman tell you that" because he didn't know jack. We didn't learn anything except general things that were in the WB handout. So we were on our own to learn about a very high tech RV. Just sad to be treated that way:( When I got the RV home I went to dewinterized the RV. While running water through the pipes and opening up valves the water just ran on the floor from the bathroom sink. So I had to take all the outer trim pieces to see what was the cause. After looking inside, the pee trap part of the drain was never connected from the factory and was hanging open. Made me wonder how the McClain's service department ever winterized the RV and didn't know the antifreeze went all over the floor? Then I went to turn on the water pump and nothing happened. The issue they should have caught was the water lines were loose around the water pump, it was sucking air. So it wouldn't pump water till I went and tightened the lines to the pump. I had to call Winnebago because the trim tape between panels were falling off and found the winterizing valves weren't right and couldn't get all the water taps to work either. Winnebago sent me a hole roll of trip tape for the trim. The Tech at Winnebago spent an hour going over the valves and how the are positioned. Come to out the valve was miss labeled. So how did the dealer not know when they winterized the RV and fix it before they tried to sell it????? On out first long trip our Truma instant hot water heater quit within a week. The rest of the trip we had to take cold showers or sponge baths. Such good quality, ha ha, when you spent over a hundred thousand dollars for a RV. You should expect something better and have the dealer back you up!!!!! NOT AT THIS PLACE. Not only that, the microwave/convection oven quit too. Also we stopped to get diesel and got back in the motor wouldn't start, we were stuck next to the gas pump. I read from other on Facebook the these RV's do this and after the transmission cools it will start. It did start finally but it was hot and embarrassing just sitting there waiting. Also one of the trim pieces that make an arch up on the roof blew off while we were traveling in Nebraska. Once we got back I called Mclain's and I was told it would be two months before they could even look at the issues. You would think if you bought an RV there they would make it a priority to get customers in quickly and when you spend the amount of money we did at their dealership. BUT NOT here DEALER!!!!!!! Don't ever expect the people here to be anything like an Automobile Dealership!!!!! So the time came to bring the RV in for the repairs, they didn't even have any parts to fix the RV. Then it sat in their lot for another 6+ weeks and more time we couldn't use our RV! Once they got it fixed under warrantee they didn't want to fix the trim piece for the roof because the said the body shop was too busy. I told them it was a bunch of BS and they need to finish the job before I would pick it up. How hard is it to paint a 16 Ince piece of trim??? Give me a break!! By the time we got it back I had to winterize the RV again. So between the poor quality of the RV and the incompetence/crooked employees at this dealer we only got house the RV on one 3 week trip in 2020. If you want a good reputable dealer who provides a day long walk through and services your RV after the sale make the tip to Lichtsinn RV in Forest City Iowa. Forget getting an RV at McClains!!!!
