The worst. Seriously awful. From those that cannot answer their phones and return any customers call to the fact that they take forever to fix anything to when job is completed parts are not in correctly creating bigger issues. Called to schedule time to fix car due to accident. I was hung up on, yelled at, and patronized multiple times for asking questions without getting any answers. I show up finally in person to a young girl that has no idea what she is doing. Prior to that a patient man in front of me is already becoming irritated by her and he was starting to get loud and very frustrated with her. I knew immediately it was her that I spoke to by phone. When it is my turn I walk up to be shown on a visual of what parts will be fixed and what parts were already damaged prior that are not included in the insurance. She claimed damages that just happened were there already when the major damage was why we were there. The car will not drive properly because the damage inside the wheel; her saying that was there. Um no. This is why I am here with a 3k repair. While she only circle minor damages. I was so irritated and mind blown because I have no clue how this young uneducated and incompetent person was hired for this position. Then she balls up the paper and redos it and asks what was damaged. Huh? What? Now I could have easily lied and got more out of it. But I am not that kind of person but what is going on here?! I have her re circle the parts that are the biggest issue. 45 days later and the mechanic comes out after me asking what was the issue and how was it fixed he could not answer me but instead said "yeah I dont really know I had to look it up". What?????? So your mechanics aren't even qualified?!?!?!??! I get in my car later realizing I will now need to spend more money to get my car and oil change and checked out for brakes/tires. Eventually my car was also telling me windshield wiper fluid was needed. So I wanted to check my oil and put windshield fluid back in there. Yet I could not pop my hood. The leverage is completely gone. The only way I can now pop my hood is because I still have a hole in my grill to slip my hand in to pop it otherwise I wouldn't be able to. When I got it open I poured my wiper fluid in and it all pour underneath on to the ground and completely wasted. The mechanic did not put it back in correctly apparently. So now I am pissed. I leave multiple messages to get to someone that knows what is going on but no returning phone calls or any response. I take another look under the hood and realize my attachment to pop the hood is now located underneath the replaced bumper. The mechanic put the bumper on top of it and the leverage is now underneath and I cannot get to it unless they undo everything they did. This place is a joke. How are they in business I have no clue. Investigators need to take a look at this place because wow. STILL waiting to hear back from manager. Still waiting for someone to return my call from a week ago. This is asinine. read more

This place is an absolute JOKE... My mother was sold a 2019 Blazer Premier with 88k miles... AFTER she signed the paperwork and agreed to pay the price for a Blazer Premier... she found out that it in fact IS NOT a Blazer Premier. Nothing can be done according to them. Also, she took it back to them to be serviced and brakes fixed and little odd and end things... only for it to sit there for over a week AFTER she signed the paper work. NOTHING had been touched on the vehicle. It sat there. DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS PLACE!!! We are seeking legal action... I hope everyone reads the reviews and takes them into consideration. We gave them the benefit of the doubt... NOTE: im sure they are great if you wanted to purchase a NEW vehicle... seems like the majority of bad reviews comes from the used vehicles. Our car sat in the lot for 4 days and no one even looked at it. I had an appointment and had arranged for it to be there while I was out of town! All we heard were excuses and lies about where our car was in the process. When I asked to speak to a supervisor they played dumb on the phone. Daniel was rude and had an attitude saying he didn't even know the managers. When I did speak to management there were more excuses about you guessed it waiting on parts... no ownership... my car doesn't need parts it needed to be diagnosed! I booked an appointment, took off work, showed up on time (30 minute drive), and the rude lady at the customer service desk said that they don't have a record of my appointment. I brought my Jeep here because it was one of Geico's recommended repair centers. It was supposed to be a faster, all inclusive experience because I could get Geico to do the inspection, get a rental loaner and get the repair all in one spot. I read some mixed reviews online, but as a serial Yelper, I realize quite often reviews are only written when someone is upset so I figured I'd be fine. To sum up my experience, I am will never recommend McCluskey to anyone after this piss poor experience. The drop off experience was great, I was in and out in 20 minutes or so, and that included getting a rental car from Enterprise. Problems started as pick up time came around. It was supposed to be finished on a Friday, and the text updates up until Friday morning reflected that. Around 3PM, I still hadn't heard about when I could pick up my Jeep, so I call them. I'm initially told it'll be ready at 5:30, which then turns into 6PM, but they close at 6PM. Fast forward to Monday, I'm told it'll be ready at 2PM after I call them in the morning. To be fair, they do call me promptly at 2PM and leave a message that it's ready to pick up. I pick up the Jeep Monday evening, only to find both doors are not aligned, the rocker panel trim is not aligned, a chip in the newly painted door, the emblem isn't lined up probably, interior door handle trim is scratched, and falls out when I open the door, and the interior is covered in white dust from the body shop. I return my stuff to the rental car, and leave the car with them for another full week until it was ready for pick up. To their credit, this time the gaps were fixed, the emblem and trim lined up and the interior and exterior wiped down and washed. A 5 day repair quickly turned into 12 business days, and a total of 16 days. I made multiple unnecessary trips to the body shop to make sure they would do what they were supposed to the first time. read more

I will NEVER use this shop ever again. I took my car to this shop because Geico suggested it, and they had to fix my skid plate and put on a passenger side mirror. The car was there for a week longer than they had estimated, which would've been fine, except the camera on my passenger mirror isn't even working. I'm not even sure what took them so long to get my car back to me considering the work wasn't even fully done. And now they won't answer my calls. If I could give a 0 stars I would. McCluskey has multiple "branches"...Kings Automall, one on Galbraith Rd, and one on Reading Rd. I bought a brand new 2017 Camaro at Kings Automall. I've had my car fixed (dent, scratches) at the McCluskey body shop located at Reading Rd. I never go anywhere else for oil change or fix, I always go to McCluskey since that's where I got my car. Long story short, today I went to Kings Automall to look at my convertible glass getting fixed, a rubber trim coming off on the passenger side window, and the passenger door button not working. I was there for 3 hours waiting. McCluskey now has a new video update program. The convertible is covered by bumper to bumper. Great. The rubber lining is not because of it being ripped. I get that. The door button not working is not covered because apparently someone had broken the clamp for the wires. And someone had taped it together with paper tape!!! It just happened to come off which is why it isn't working anymore. It is all on video! Like I said, I've only gotten my car fixed at McCluskey and nowhere else! Brand new car. And someone at the body shop broke something only to tape it later! I'm not gonna let this go. This is unacceptable. This proves the bad things we hear about dealerships! read more

It has been nothing but a nightmare with Mcclusky Auto Body Shop for me and my husband. We sent our car there through our insurance, in the first week of July because our car was vandalized in the process of an attempt to steal it. The initial repair was to supposed to a broken and torn steering colloum and a damaged side mirror as well as a back window. After taking over a month for those repairs to be completed we were then informed that the car would not start. They diagnosed the problem and told us our engine was locked and that we needed a new engine. They stated that we would need to give them $5,000 up front to order the engine plus $1,000 for installation. After giving them the money there conduct became very unprofessional and communications was very poor as far as keeping us informed and updated about the status of our car repairs. Once the engine was installed we were told that the car wouldn't move and we now would probably need a new transmission. I feel like we were mislead and taken advantage of because we trusted them to treat us fairly and honestly. It is almost the beginning of October and we still don't have our car. This whole situation has been and still is extremely stressful. It has impacted our finances. My husband and I have been struggling with transportation to our jobs for the past 3 months. I needed an estimate for a car repair and was directed to use this company by the insurance of the person who had wrecked my car. I called and left voicemails and never heard back. So I showed up in person to schedule and when I walked in the people that were working were all talking amongst themselves and no one was at the front. I was in line with their vision, but it took about 20 minutes before they acknowledged me standing there. The guy asked what number I had called and I pointed to the one on their door. They said they don't do walk ins and I said "I know, so let's schedule." They marked me down for a "tentative" day and said that after talking with insurance they would call me and set a more specific time. Surprise, surprise, no follow-up. So then I followed-up with the direct line of the person I spoke with and finally got an appointment. The latest they offered was 3:00pm and this was just to get an estimate. I had to have my husband take my car in because I would otherwise have to take a half day off of work. My husband reported the same experience when he walked in. I was sold a warranty with my used vehicle purchase that did not deliver on it's promises. Details below. I was traveling on vacation when in the middle of a severe thunderstorm, my windshield wipers stopped working and road visibility went to zero. My used car purchase was a 2014 Chevy Equinox with roughly 80k miles. I received a "Sterling Coverage" warranty. When calling the warranty company, Giana told me that my windshield wipers were covered and all I needed to do was send a receipt for my refund. After doing that, I received a letter informing me that the windshield wiper transmission assembly was not covered. This has put me out for $380 and I still expect a refund. If I do not receive a refund, this review will remain the same and consumers should be warned that McCluskey is not selling reputable, worthwhile warranties with their used cars. read more

After getting my car smashed while it sat parked in a lot during my work day, McClusky Body Shop came to the rescue. The person who hit my car didn't leave a note or anything, but luckily there was a good samaritan who took down their license plate #. My insurance company recommended McClusky and I am so glad that I took my car there to get it repaired. The staff is knowledgable and professional and they fixed my car much faster than they originally quoted. The whole transaction was smooth and easy. They emailed over my estimate paperwork, which was also completed within hours of dropping off my car. The finished product looked great- as if my car never had a scratch on it. I was directed to McCluskey's collision center on Reading road by the insurance company of the person who ran into my car. A few days after taking my car in, I was contacted by Shad and told that my car was ready for pick up. It wasn't until I had the car in sunlight that I realized my new bumper did not match the rest of the car. I immediately contacted the shop and was told to bring my car back the next week and they would fix it. I took my car back and was contacted by Shad the next day once again saying my car was ready. When I went to pick it up I insisted they not bring the car into the garage. I wanted to look at the car in natural light to make sure that the new bumper matches the rest of the car. The bumper looked exactly like it did the day before when I dropped it off for the second time. It looked like they'd done nothing to it. I left the vehicle there but called 5 times the next day to check on the status. They would not answer my calls. I had to call the sales department & have them transfer me. Because my name wasn't on the caller i.d they magically picked up on the 1st ring. Shad was no longer professional and very rude. My car is 2018 with 9500 miles on it, clean & never been in a accident. I just want my car back without miss-matched paint. My car was towed here after an accident, since they work with my insurance company. Unfortunately, someone stole my Bose speaker and my Ray Bans from my car while on McClusky's property. My windows were not broken, so either the theif had access to my key or McClusky failed to lock my car when it was in their possession.
