Through my jumbled words and tears I showed her pictures and she recreated perfection. I have no issues with her styling, compassion and figuring out my mess of a self. 5 stars all the say. While doing my hair, her and her staff were talking politics. I did yell for them to stop talking politics and I didn't want to hear it. She apologized and said that's just the way they talk while working (or something along that line), You're at work with the public. (Why discuss such a hot topic with paying customers inside). While she was rinsing my hair, she decided to say to a fellow stylist that she would like to go to the Freedom of America in Texas. and I knew exactly what she was talking about. I was born, just not yesterday. . Beyond disrespectful! Had the 2nd remark not been said, I would of kept it at 5 starts. Also, there was a guy there (I think it was her husband) and he needs to be told to keep his hands off people. There is no need for him to be touching women without their consent. I do not care if it was a shoulder or a piece of hair. He has no business touching people.

If you have floated in the "pods" but never anything else, you definitely should try Solace instead. Their float pool is private, huge, and MUCH better than a pod. If you have never floated before, you will be "spoiled" after floating here and will not be satisfied with the pods. This float pool is MUCH bigger. It is completely open, but you can be in total darkness with no claustrophobia to worry about since you aren't shut in. At this establishment I booked my appointment with Ashley and was greeted by her and guided into and through a very relaxing, comfortable, and amazing experience. From the sparkling clean changing room, to the posh relaxation/waiting room and ultimately to my private shower and float room everything was amazing. Ashley was friendly, yet professional and warm. I truly felt valued and cared for. The float tank/pool itself was large enough that I could fully extend my arms to the sides or top (my legs, too) and I still could float without contact on the sides. I'm about 6 feet tall, so it is very roomy. The shower and provided products and accommodations are all very good. The cost is a good value, and the experience overall was superb. It you have never floated before, there are all sorts of reasons to try it. Some medical, some spiritual, some metaphysical, and some just simply to experience relaxation beyond normal. I floated for a combination of reasons. I needed to relax, I needed pain relief, and I wanted to meditate a bit. I was able to do all three.

Taking into consideration the fact that there were probably 6 to 7 other people in the building plus customers this was very upsetting. aside from that my nail shape was wrong as you can obviously see in the pictures and a bit uneven at places. The design that I wanted was botched completely. You can clearly see that the lines on the French tips that I got are uneven and also that my cuticles were cut too far back as they are bleeding in the picture that I attached. on top of all of this my polish lasted all by the day before peeling off. I did half of what I normally would at work and avoided most heavy labor and still had two major chips in my nails that ended up just peeling off completely. I paid about $80 for this and honestly wasn't even going to complain until my polish chipped off. I really had high hopes for the salon but it was let down ultimately. I booked my appointment online with Jess, the owner. The studio is super easy to find, as it is right off the highway. There is plenty of parking on site. The studio is so chic and well decorated. Jess greeted me as soon as I walked in. She walked me to her station and made me feel so comfortable. She explained everything before starting and kept me informed along the way, making sure my input was taken into consideration.
