What I did not know was how far off Route 30 this was going to end up being. No worries though, I was not in a hurry to get anywhere and was on my way home to relax anyway. Finally get here and the lot is a bit wonky. If I am correct, the lot is kind of like a driveway for the house at the rear of the lot. Or at least that is the way it look with the RV parked there. With that, it just feels like this is too small for as busy as it gets. I did not need gas while I was here, but I can tell you that I see and expansion or move in the future, the pumps were constantly busy. Prices are comparative to other gas stations in the area. What I did partake in was the inside of the store. Seeing how this was a pit stop I made my way to the restrooms. The restroom was kept clean and well taken care of. I then made my way out to the convenience store portion and grabbed myself a drink. Staff were polite and swift in their tasks. I did not get myself a MTO like I usually do, but they were definitely busy back there and pushing out food.

You will have facilities to use, parking aplenty, and a quick browse over the many items. This Sheetz, fell flat. I had been doing a lot of commuting back and forth from PA to DC. Along the way I have stopped at many highway stops to quickly continue in my trek. Honestly, I have been through this corridor many times and I had no idea there was a Sheetz located here. But I was more focused on the road and not necessarily the amenities offered off each exit. Getting here was not hard at all, but the lot was super confusing. See the lot is on what some would call an important corner in this town. It appears that this Sheetz has been here for some time and just updated the lot to make it look new along the way. The parking is atrocious, since this is not your usual lot they threw in parking where it would fit. The back side of the building is totally confusing as a majority of the parking spots are up against the building, and since the building is not totally square-ish, the parking is just all over the place. Add some parallel spot as well and you have just about total chaos. Talking about chaos, the facilities. There is only one facility to use. Bright side, you can say that they have gender neutral restrooms. Not so bright side, when you really have to go, you have to wait. I mean really wait. Don't worry, you may get confused as well, because does that line go to the restroom or is that the line for the register? As far as the items to opt from on the shelves. Think Sheetz and then divide by four. Space wise this is not a great store as they have all you would expect from a Sheetz, but not every item in each of those areas. It is a bit disorienting trying to find an item, if they even have that item. If you can, wait while on the highway to go a bit further to hit a Sheetz. Until this one is rebuilt or relocated let it be for the community.

Well, the only problem with eating around 1 is that we are in the middle of cnetral PA (on 76 West) and there's not much out here. So, we decide to take a random exit that has a sign for a hospital... thinking that people who work at the hopital have to eat somewhere, right? Looking for food, we follow the signs for H but turn back after a few miles of NOTHING. Right before we get back on 76W we decide to get gas $2.92 for regular) at a place that says "FOOD" on the gas station awning. The pump is slightly broken so you have to pay inside in advance (I prefer to just swipe my card at the tank, but beggars can't be choosey in the middle of central PA). When my sister comes out, she says, "They do have food in there, you know. Like, they're making fresh hoagies and burgers and stuff." So we decide to get some food here. She gets a turkey sub ($4.50) and I get a cheeseburger ($2) with tomato and mayo. With a bottle of A&W and a bag of local chips (Middleswarth BBQ KET-L Chips- really sweet and not very great but for only 50 cents what do you expect?). Not bad. The food was good. They put tons of turkey on the sub and my burger was hot off the grill (literally). The bathrooms were super gross and it was in the middle of a gas station store... but otherwise not too terrible. Also, there were tables inside (sadly, we couldn't use these since we are traveling with a cat). Also, the people behind the counter were super friendly. The best part about the place was that my sister is not used to central PA accents. One of the girls behind the counter spoke in a Boomhower (King of the Hill) accent to my sister... my sister's face was priceless... right before she very loudly (rudely, and incredulously) said, "What?".
