Office is money centric and lacks any empathy for patients. We scheduled a new patient exam / cleaning and was told the earliest would be in two weeks. After taking some off work to make the appointment was told that there was nothing in the "system". NO Apology, NO assistance, and NO way they could get my husband in . The receptionist was detached , uncaring and did nothing to help. Don't want to go someplace that is unorganized and lacks compassion. I had a terrible first experience myself. The doctors may be nice and the general dental assistants are fine, but the lack of patient concern and lack of empathy for the trouble they created was unbelievable. NOT worth the hassle. MOST dental offices are not like this, Pass on this one and find a dental office that cares. read more

Beware of McCormack Dental Group in North Ridgeville! Even if you have dental insurance that covers 100% they still charged me a $30 copay. I have Blue Cross and Aetna Dental for Federal Employees and was told that since it was a "comprehensive visit" they always charge a $30 copay. The EOB's from Blue Cross & Aetna both said they paid 100% of the Plans agreed amount and that I owe $0.00. I would NOT recommend going to McCormack Dental Group. read more

I had 2 what I was told crowns, and 2 fillings. ($900 after insurance) After the 2 in office over lays (not crowns) poorly done with heavy cement, I waited to get 2 fillings. This took 3 months to schedule. After 2 fillings I started feeling jaw pain. I was told I could not get in for a week, no emergency appointments available. I went to another dentist due to pain, was prescribed steroid and told inflammation was caused my poorly made over lay and poorly filled tooth. I will not return and do not recommend. read more

So i have never had a cavity in my adult life. At age 40 i goto this place for a cleaning as i moved. First cleaning was clean bill of health as usual. Second cleaning, 6 months later... i have 2 cavities. Said they were very early and minor, but preventative cavity would be the right thing to do. I was doubtful, but decided to trust and do it. HUGE mistake. So first, the filling didnt bond and i was back within the week in extreme pain. Then, they redid it. But this time, strike 2. They created a food trap whereby food got trapped into the gums at base of tooth any time i chewed on that side of the mouth. So they redrilled it, AGAIN. Third time, the tooth was permanently messed up. So here i am a year later, never having chewed on that side of my mouth for an entire year because, hell if i am letting them touch my mouth again. Now i am in search of a dentist to do a 2,000 root canal and crown. All because this place wanted to be "preventative". I question if i ever had a cavity in the first place, and now im in a whole new world of dental issues. Now, to be fair, i suppose it is entirely possible that they are on the up and up, and doing the cavity was not a horrible call. It is also possible it was unnecessary. I will be asking whomever does my root canal their opinion but i see from others that this place will not release your records if they make a mistake. So who knows!?!? Even if we put that aside though, the 3 times drilling makes me think it was incompetence that led us to land on root canal one way or another. This was not preventive, it was the cause of my problems. If this place tells you that you need a cavity, do not let them do it. read more

Horrible customer service and billing. Not to mention a root canal turned into cellulitis /absess a hospital visit, a visit to my PCP, second opinion Dentist and now a specialist all because of this place not seeing me after having severe pain and massive swelling . They told me this was all part of having a root canal! I called twice, asking to at least be seen, and they refused told me to take antibiotic and steroids, which was not working. Spoke to the office manager who was nasty and insulted me stating the pain is from other problem teeth! I already missed 2 days of work, so I asked for a doctors note for the two days she again insults me and says most people go back to work after a root canal!! I went off and told her I had severe pain and swelling. I was heading to the ER!! She then agrees to the note and sends it to my email. After 3 weeks, I am still on antibiotics for a severe infection! My new dentist tried to get my xrays from this place and was greeted with a rude front desk they said they were very nasty to them!! Also, my new dentist agreed I should have been seen asap! Needless to say, we got the x-rays, and I will not be going back here. Beware!! read more

I just got home from having a 20 year or better crown replaced and was pleasantly surprised that my insurance paid for all of it and it was done in one day! I love that they do it all in one visit and no more taking impressions with their state of art latest 3D scanner and ability to make the new crown right there! My dentist, Dr. Gregg and his assistant, Tessa made sure I was comfortable at all times and I enjoyed their "comedy routine" and great humor! The desk clerk was very helpful with letting me know what my next visit will cost for 2 more replaced crowns and a bridge. Everyone there is so friendly and courteous! They do a fantastic job of cleaning your teeth! I highly recommend McCormack Dental!! read more

I've seen most of the doctors here and they are all very nice and thorough. I work on the east side and I live in Lakewood but I still travel to North Ridgeville twice a year for my cleanings. I had to come here due to new insurance. Secretary staff was rude. Hygienist was great. Dentist came in and told me I have SEVEN cavities. Being that I have great oral health and have had like 2 cavities in the last 30 years I almost cried. I couldn't believe it. Furthermore he said I had to come in immediately to fill them and that I would need two appointments! I had a gut feeling this couldn't be right. I just had a cleaning 6 months ago. Luckily my older dentist let me know I could come in the next day and he would review the X-rays. Welp, North Ridgeville dental refused to send them. Thank goodness my older dentist was so kind to give me a free X-ray. Guess what?? I have ONE cavity. ONE. Not seven. How is this okay? Aggressive practice, would not recommend. read more

They don't stand behind their work. For several years, they continuously nagged me to get a crown on a tooth that had some minor cracks but was causing no problems. Early this year, I finally caved in and did it. Since then, I've had continuous discomfort when the slightest bit of pressure is put on the crown. I've been in a couple of times since, the first time they tried to file it down a bit and told me to be patient. After nearly a year, the discomfort remains and their only suggestion was that I now needed a root canal that they might give me a discount on. Discount?? I didn't have the slightest bit of discomfort before one of their hacks filed my tooth down too far exposing the nerve and then slapping the crown on top of it. I spoke to this terrible manager who was very robotic and corporate who made it clear they weren't going to do anything about the issue despite the fact that THEY caused it. She just said that it's a slim chance that something like this could happen with any procedure, and the patient just needs to accept those odds. Seriously? I would never suggest anyone go here. They get me in and out all though I don't expect it to be that way all the time but every single person there works so carefully and thoroughly to do things right. I highly recommend this place! stay clear from this place! they don't stand by their work and everything that goes wrong is "your fault". two years ago i let them talk me into 4 root canals and crowns and it has been a nightmare ever since. the temp. crowns kept falling off and when i got the perminate crowns put on they didn't fit right. i was numb and didn't know till i got home the dentist ground down my bottom teeth so i could close my mouth. i called the office right away and they denied it sayin my teeth were that way from grinding. there were tool marks on my teeth. things went downhill rapidly from there. a couple weeks later one of the crowns broke off and they told me it because the root canal weakend the tooth and i would not need a post. why didn't they tell me this before i got the root canal and crown put on. i would have got the posts done then. so i payed out, again, and also told them that the tooth next to it was loose also but they never addresed it. a couple weeks go by and my bottom teeth which had no sensitivity issues before were now hot and cold sensitive and breaking off in little pieces. i ended up going to a dental surgeon who had to remove all my bottom teeth and now im stuck with a bottom denture. it has been a very painfull, time consumming, and even with dental insurence, a very costly 2 year experience and im still not done. during all this time i have had to live on basicly a soft food diet because of the surguries i have had to have and the loose upper tooth. yesturday i was eating cut up strawberries and the tooth finally broke completly off. i called my dental surgeon and he told me he could fix it but would have to charge me because it wasn't his work. he recomemned i go back to the dentist that did the work and have them fix it. well thats what i did today and once again i was told by the dentist in charge, dr. bradley mccormack,it was again my fault, crowns brake off all the time and now i need a post put in and he would charge me. they have already been paid for round one on the root canals and crowns, i ended up paying more for the first one that broke off and now he wants me to pay again. thats 3 times for the work that wasn't done right in the first place. all he had to do was bite the bullet and fix my tooth correctly at no cost to me and i would have left the office satisfied never to return, but no, thats not how it went down. so now im taking my issues with this dentistry and mostly dr. mccormack to the public. my whole family and i have been patients with north ridgeville dental for years but non of us will ever step foot in the door again. this review is literally from my mouth to the public, "don't go to this place"! read more
