Won't stop calling me after I told them I wasn't happy with service. I got my tooth cleaned and tried to get my wisdom tooth removed.

However, the dentist that did my filling/tooth repair did not introduce herself, cut me off when I tried to tell her my history/what happened, and then suddenly numbed my mouth without warning. Then, she filled 2 additional teeth without telling me as I had only come in for the one filling. The fillings were incredibly rough and sharp and at certain parts, they were cutting up my mouth. I asked them to smooth them down, which they attempted to just once. After they attempted to smooth them down, it was still sharp/rough so I asked again. At that point, the dentist told me "the fillings will smooth over time like a rock in the ocean" and sent me on my way. The dentist was very abrupt, zero bedside manner which I am not used to as I am coming from a great dentist, to be fair. The pain from the filling did not go away and got worse over time. I had a ton of sensitivity and pain so a week or two later, I went back in. Dr Hippler herself saw me and ended up having to drill out the filling and redo it because the first dentist used the wrong materials. The filling is fine now, but my teeth are still sensitive after going there, which was not a problem before. Also, during a cleaning, the hygienist clipped a piece of my gum off on one of my front teeth. Safe to say, I will not be coming back. They are also super expensive and price gouge you like crazy. If they were just rude and expensive, I might go back because establishing care is a pain but to also get shoddy dental work, it's not worth it.

I want to share my experience honestly so that other patients can make an informed decision before…read morechoosing this practice. Over the course of more than 10 visits, I experienced repeated failures with the same dental work -- including having a crown on the same tooth re-cemented four separate times. Other crowns were installed so tightly that they caused adjacent teeth to crack. On more than one occasion, cleaning was started by the dentist (not a hygienist), only for the provider to say they didn't have time to finish -- yet the visit was billed to my insurance in full. The only reason I kept going back was due to the fact I was unable to transfer to a different dentist until the original dentist would address fixing the previous work for insurance reasons -- leaving me trapped in a cycle that only ended when I changed insurance plans entirely. The practice environment was also deeply concerning. On my final visit, the provider walked into the room, stated she did not want to treat me, and left -- this is after she had already been unable to properly seat the crown she had fabricated. Fortunately, another dentist on staff was able to step in and complete the work. Throughout my visits I also witnessed: providers yelling at staff in front of patients, staff being repeatedly given the same X-ray instruction only to take incorrect images, equipment in apparent disrepair with water leaking onto electrical components including the X-ray machine, staff untrained on how to use the office software, and unexplained odors throughout the office. I am accustomed to providers who are direct and business-focused -- I do not require a warm bedside manner. But when the basic technical and professional standards of care are not being met, I feel an obligation to speak up. Please consider this review carefully before scheduling an appointment.

I was left sitting in an exam chair for over 40 minutes after arriving for my appointment, including my asking if I should just reschedule. I was told Ali would be coming in shortly. No questions about current health/history or medications taken. Dr. Ali finally breezed in, told me she didn't realize I was there, which was a lie because I heard the staff member tell her I was in exam room for my appointment when I first arrived. Dr. Ali did a very quick, superficial cleaning, and minimal if any, exam...which was unacceptable and ineffective care. No dental hygienist to do cleaning on any visit. I tried to give this practice the benefit of the doubt, but was disappointed each time. I finally went to another dentist and discovered that Ali missed an issue that needed addressed. My opinion, Ali is an incompetent, uncaring dentist.

I've never been to a new dentist where cleaning was not included (I'll get to that later). I didn't even know that was an option. Why would you go there as a new patient and walk out without a cleaning? But lesson learned. In the future, I will ask if cleaning is included. My appointment is at 9:00 a.m. I arrive at 8:50 a.m., but the office is closed. Right at 9 a.m., two employees arrive, letting 4-5 other patients who are now waiting into the waiting room. They can't get into the office, so one of the guys jumps over the reception counter. It's now a few minutes after 9 a.m. As the time ticks on, the receptionist arrives at 9:15, fifteen minutes after the first scheduled patients. Then, a few other workers arrive, all well past 9:00 a.m. I finally got called back at 9:30 a.m., and they asked me why I was there; I told them I was a new patient and needed a cleaning. They take x-rays and tell me that the hygienist isn't scheduled that day and they can't do the cleaning. At that point, I just said okay and told them I was leaving. This was one of the most unorganized places I've ever been to. I will not be going back.
