My kids actually liked going here for braces and were happy to go to appointments. My family was quoted a very high price for braces through their regular dentist. I decided that I needed to compare prices and soon found the McDade office. Upon entering i realized I may have picked an expensive one because the place was very nice, comfortable and clean. The even had a table for games for the kiddos. Not those online devices to play games but actual hands on creative toys (my son runs to this area). The staff was very pleasant and attentive. When I had questions they answered them and soon we had a quote that was well under what I expected. My kids were very nervous but the staff was very kind and patient. They were able to calm my kids so much they didn't get scared or upset to visit the office in the future. We regularly arrived and were called by name not asked who we were. When you came in you felt like a friend not a customer. I would arrive early to appointments and the staff would still get us in and out quickly. Even a couple times I was late and they didn't change their pleasant demeanor and got us in. My kids never had a complaint about pain, the staff or anything. They always left smiling. read more

We drive almost an hour to see Dr. McDade. I am so glad I found him, he is very friendly and informational and takes you through each step of the process. The staff have been there a long time and are very friendly and flexible when it comes to scheduling. Dr McDade has been our Orthodontist for over 12 years. He treated both my girls with braces and they both have beautiful teeth now! Mark McDade does not know what he is doing. Children have perfect teeth to begin with so anybody can straighten them. If your child has any unique circumstances, all bets are off. He won't admit it, but this guy has no issue pulling teeth, bending brackets (while they are in your child's mouth) or grinding down teeth throughout treatment and as his finishing touch, basically whatever to force teeth positioning. I have been coming to DR Mcdade for over 10 years now . I had my braces done 11 years ago. I drive from another town into camarillo because his staff and service is the best. I now have two daughters and my oldest daughter is in phase one of braces. I know there are many orthodontist around me but I come here because his work , personality and staff are the best. My daughter was scared to get braces at first but they made it such a pleasurable fun experience for her. Great orthodontist but having 3 different offices, in 2 different counties is not very convenient for your parents when they must schedule around his traveling to those offices. Having to reschedule for 6 weeks in the future to meet his timing is not what I was hoping for. read more
