We had a great experience purchasing a new 2025 Mazda CX5. From beginning to end our salesperson Ashley was awesome. She was friendly, personable & knowledgeable. We couldn't have done it without her. While out of town we saw this car listed on their website. Even though it was Sunday & they were closed, I sent a chat message anyway to see if the car was available. Surprisingly, a few minutes later I received a friendly message back saying it was available. We set an appointment to test drive the car the next afternoon when we were back in town. The following morning I received an early message from Ashley. She needed a few things from us to give an out the door price. After which we spoke on the phone & thru text. We put a deposit down & texted over the documents needed. When we arrived the car was all ready to test drive. Ashley even let us bring our dog in the car & into the building. (Note, we were able to test drive the car by ourselves.) We loved the car & decided to buy it. Ashley assumed as much & had the paperwork all ready. The final step was with Jonatan, the Sales Manger. He was great to work with as well. We signed the final documents - very smooth & quick. However, perhaps a little rushed. At the end Ashley showed us the car in more detail, handed us the keys & said to call anytime if we ever had any questions. Overall, terrific service & a fantastic car! read more

Sales is extremely fast to get a sale but service is awful. No follow up different answers every time. Being new to Denver just not used to this kind of service. Told on a recall part was not in 4 times then told no part was needed it was a computer reset. Go figure! read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT! I took my CX-9 in for an oil change and to check squeaky breaks. Got the brake pads regressed and sanded. Oil change was $100 after coupon and $400 for the brakes (which is also extremely high compared to independent auto shops). They then charged me an additional $54.95 for "Supplemental Parts". Which I was not told about and seems like a scam. Also, said they would give it a wash for free and didn't do it. Never use the service department here! I've called, left messages and texted with them and haven't been able to receive a single response besides, "I'll reach out to the service department and will let you know when I have an update." Apologies have been given by Jerry, with whom I've been texting with for over a month, but that's where it ends. Good luck getting a phone call back from the service department. Pretty disappointed with this dealer. They were great until the 11th hour of a deal. Everything changed. We were about to close on a deal on a 43k Tundra they have. After two days of work on both ends we had a pre purchase inspection done on the truck by a Toyota specialist and found out there were bigger items( leaking timing cover $3k job, failed rear shock etc) that would need fixed eventually and some scheduled maintenance items that were overdue. After requesting that the dealer complete the overdue scheduled maintenance items (engine air filter, diff fluid, transfer case fluid) they became very unprofessional towards the 3rd party specialty shop and told me that there were two other people interested in the truck so they refuse to bring the truck up to date on it's maintenance and claimed that only certified Mazda will be up to date on their maintenance. Implying that if it's not certified the rest of the maintenance is on the person buying the vehicle. Beware of this mentality, always do you due diligence. They lost this $43k deal over some differential fluid and an engine air filter. I'm glad I paid for a pre purchase inspection read more

Watch out for these guys on used cars. We had agreed to a deal and then the salesman said he was getting the car ready. Turns out he was giving us "brand new tires.". Well they were crappy tires, wore out in less than two years of light driving. The higher quality tires that were on it when we test drove it would have lasted longer. I should have raised a stink but didn't really realize this was a ruse. Lesson learned. read more

I've had the same car for 11 years and it died on me. I've never bought a car before, so it was nerve wracking walking into a situation I've never experienced before! My husband and I looked on McDonald Mazda's pre owned inventory and found the perfect car for our little family. We walked through the parking lot and were nearing the car when Jose walked up to us and greeted us! Throughout the entire car buying process, over the course of two days, Jose was friendly, chatty, and we all bonded over some hobbies. He mentioned he was "new" at being a salesperson, but I told him he was doing a fine job so far. I felt that way until it came to the point where I actually bought the car. It felt as if he essentially "got what he wanted" from us and then 100% forgot we existed. I bought the car on a Sunday and luckily didn't have to go into work on that Monday because the car wasn't ready yet. Jose told us he would deliver the car to us for free and make it a super easy process. The financial lady (who was so wonderful and kind) made sure to tell Jose in front of us, that he needed to coordinate with us a time that works to have the car dropped off to me. And we did. The car was supposed to be delivered to me between the hours of 12pm-5pm. Texted him at 10:06am and asked him for an update and when he thought he'd get the car to me. He called me a few minutes later and asked me to text him my address. Then I didn't hear from him again, so I asked my husband to call. Jose didn't answer, so my husband called the dealership, then Jose ended up having all the rest of the communication with my husband even though he was at work. So much back and forth until I just made the decision to get an Uber to the dealership. Only then once I said I was coming pick up my car, I got a response from Jose with a picture of my car. Once I got to the dealership (very annoyed because I just spent $35 dollars on an Uber when I was supposed to have my car delivered for free), I was greeted by a sweet guy (didn't catch his name) who told me he'd go find Jose. I guess he was nowhere to be found, so the nice guy came out and put my temp tags on and chatted with me for a while so someone could find the keys for the car. Finally Jose came out with the keys and apologized for the wait. I drove my new car home. Finally. I was told that I would receive my title completion notice from the DMV to be able to register my car within 4-6 weeks of purchase. It was at the 6 week mark that I decided to reach out to Jose for an update. He literally just left me on read. After so much frustration with this man, I decided, YET AGAIN, to get my husband to reach out to Jose. And of course, my (male) husband got a response almost immediately (husband texted at 4:17pm and Jose called at 4:20pm) when I (female) got left on read. Catch my drift? It is interesting though considering I was the costumer spending my own money on a car that is solely mine. But sure, let the men talk lol. I wish I would've gotten another salesman. I've never bought a car before and Jose made an already stressful and not fun thing, even worse. I don't care if he's new, he completely dropped the ball immediately after making the sale, ignored my communication, and is apparently only able to take men seriously. Absolutely not. This is not a review for Mazda as a whole as everyone else we spoke to was very kind and engaged with us. If you're going to buy a car here, help yourself by choosing someone else! read more

Mark was a good salesperson, althought when he checked in and i told him the issues i was having, his response was "sorry for the trouble your car has caused" but didn't actually offer any form of help or assistance. The service team was helpful the first time and then wouldn't return any of my calls or voicemails for to fix a problem that the car and they knew about before i purchased the car - they still havent returned my calls in the past 2.5 weeks. They "cleaned and detailed" the car before handing it over but didn't actually vacuum and just covered everything with the floor mats. I shouldve gone to a different dealer. read more

I have called several times and emailed him a couple more times and I have yet to hear back from him. Salesman Ceedric is untrustworthy, and will say anything to make a sale. The financial manager Johnny blackmailed me with a $1000 check only if I rectified my original survey and was manipulative. The manager James Park is unresponsive and unwilling to acknowledge the issue. I repeat, stay far away from this dealership. I went to Mcdonald Mazda feeling excited, empowered, and confident. As a single woman, I was determined to make a smart decision and walk away with the deal I had been discussing. They made me feel as though I was in control of the situation, repeatedly assuring me that I was getting exactly the deal I wanted. I felt brave and empowered - until the paperwork was presented. To my shock, the deal presented in my contract was different from what I was told. From my trade-in value to the maintenance package purchased, our verbal commitment and contractual one deeply varied. I felt manipulated and taken advantage of. They had repeatedly told me that everything was in my favor, but when it came time to finalize the purchase, they didn't have my best interests at heart. The advice given to me by the sales staff based on mileage and trade-in deeply supported keeping me upside down in a contractual relationship with the dealership. I feel completely misled and taken advantage of in what was supposed to be a straightforward transaction. As a woman shopping alone, I walked in feeling empowered, only to be made to feel disrespected and manipulated. I would caution anyone - especially women shopping alone - to beware of the tactics at play here. Beware! We purchased a Mazda July 30, 2025. I realized in October that I did not receive my title to my car, so therefore could not get Colorado plates. Since that time I have called repeatedly only to be told it is in process. When I tried to talk to the GM, I was stonewalled. I guess his name is James, but he won't take my calls. Finally yesterday, Jesus told me that the title just got released and is being Fed X'd to them, and they will in turn send to me. It is December 12, almost 4 months after my car purchase. I do not know why my title was being held, but I don't appreciate that Ashley in Finance told me often, that it was in the works. Finally last week she told me, she really didn't work on titles it is outsourced, but she had submitted a request to get the title. When, I called in October, it should have been checked on, instead they blamed Douglas County. Horrible customer service from Macdonald Mazda West! read more

Recognizing they're a business that deserves a profit, we set forth several reasonable negotiation points and all were accepted. WOW. I don't even know where to begin. This was my first time purchasing a car and to say I was nervous would be an understatement. Stopped in today on this snowy May day for a rear wiper blade. I'm completely car-inept and couldn't figure out how to get the old blade off, and another dealer in town said they'd charge me an hour of labor to help me a couple weeks ago, so I've been putting it off. Because of the snow today, I stopped in because my rear window is a mess. Pulled into the service bay to get out of the snow so I could attempt to figure it out before buying the blade, and was greeted by a really friendly guy in a suit (Cedric). I explained that I just needed somewhere dry to figure out how to get this blade off and then needed to buy a new one, and he said "oh no problem, let me help you!" He had the old blade off in about two seconds, and then he ran into the back for a new blade, popped it on, and refused to charge me for the new wiper blade. I AM SHOOK! I was NOT expecting a complimentary wiper, so that was an EXTRA delight, and I REALLY appreciated Cedric going the extra mile and helping me with taking the old one off and installing the new one. Thanks, you guys. My lease is up in November. I've been here a couple times for service on my CX-5 - tires, oil changes, etc. - but you've really won me over and I'll see you again soon! read more

Be very careful buying used here in particular. They sold us a vehicle with so many issues I can barely name them all. Ford for all this 2007 we bought had original spark plugs, broken engine brackets, major transmission issues, blown shocks, fluids old as the vehicle and soooooo much more... literally will cost the price of the vehicle nearly to fix this thing. When we bought the car, we asked them not to throw away our bumper guards. They kept one, but threw away the other. We asked to be compensated for the discarded one and were told to buy a new one and send them a receipt so we can get reimbursed. 9 days later we still have no response after sending the receipt. I followed up with them and they said they will just buy us a new one. So again I said we already did and sent the receipt 9 days ago as originally requested. Then they said ok we will pay you today. Well, that was yesterday and still no payment. I realize it's not an expensive item but we specifically asked for it back and it was thrown away. Now it's been 10 days and we still have not been reimbursed. We are very disappointed. read more
