Was quoted over $4,500 to replace a radiator, thermostat , and oil pressure switch for a 2015 Jeep Cherokee which all together costs about $300 max in parts. Was told A/C condenser needs to be disconnected and drained to get at the radiator (which is true), and that the refrigerant would be very expensive. Standard procedure is to capture and re-use the existing freon. About $3,000 more expensive than it should've been. read more

Staff is super friendly. It was a mostly good experience, the only thing I didn't like was how they tried to push other 'recommendations' on me. I get that most shops do this, but I told them I knew about a few other things and when I picked up my car they had compiled a list of things in addition to those things that they recommended. Only I already had those things done recently, so it made me question what and how much they recommend. I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE!!! Had my vehicle worked on a little over two years ago. Replaced my entire power steering system. 19k miles later complete system failure. The fluid in the system wasn't even due for a flush yet. The average power steering pump lasts 100-150k miles. THEY DONT USE QUALITY PARTS. read more

Had an overheat light come on my Subaru as I was rolling into Denver. Fortunately, it turned out to be about 1/3 of a mile from this place. I learned once I got there that this place used to specialize in Subarus. They got me in right before closing. Were exceptionally nice about staying late. The next day they ordered parts, gave me an expert breakdown of what they were doing and why, and had me back on the road in time to make my next stop. Review of Strictly Automotive: Unprofessional and Unacceptable Behavior I have never written a negative review before, but the unprofessional and rude behavior we experienced at Strictly Automotive, particularly from managers Shelby Pittman and Misty McNett, needs to be shared. Background: We brought our 2009 Nissan Rogue to Strictly Automotive for an engine evaluation due to rough running. After a road test, we were presented with a repair estimate totaling over $6,000 for items including subframe removal/replacement, ignition coils, and axle assembly. Given the car's Blue Book value of $3,500, these repairs were not financially sensible to pursue. Issue: A disagreement arose over the final bill for some services performed. The main issue stems from a video sent to us by Strictly Automotive, which clearly shows that the vehicle was returned in a far worse condition than when it arrived, rendering it unsafe and undrivable. The vehicle is no longer in our possession. Communication Problems: We attempted to contact the owner, Greg Schervish, multiple times without success. Managers Shelby Pittman and Misty McNett were dismissive and rude, completely disregarding our repeated requests to communicate and find a reasonable solution. Their complete disregard for customer service is unacceptable. Conclusion: What should have been a straightforward service appointment turned into a complete property loss. Potential customers should be aware that this is not a company that values professionalism or customer service. I strongly advise against trusting them with your vehicle. read more

Needing an auto shop isn't ever fun. I dropped my car off for an oil change and they have a basic items check they do free. (A more in-depth one is available for a fee) They were in time, my car was in the same clean shape (no left in greasy paper in the floorboards) I left it in. They had some things that must get done, and a triage list for what's most important. A blessing, as discovering some...untruths...form a seller on this car was overwhelming. Please be very careful bringing your car to this shop I never got any work performed by them but the lady the answer my call was being very evasive in regards to the price and every time I pressed for it she continued to send me down a rabbit hole. Requested a VIN over the phone, quoted approximately(!) $2,500. Even I don't know why vin is needed - year/make/model/engine type is all that's needed to know what needs to be done and what it takes to do it. If you know what needs to be done and what it takes to do it, that is. Sent the vin, now "Without looking at the vehicle to determine the condition, we'd be looking at roughly $5000". To clarify, the EXACT operation needed to be performed has been positively identified. Every time I hear this "without looking" stuff, I know for a fact that they WILL find A LOT to charge for. Needed or not. How do I know? I spent nearly 20 years in the fields as a Mechanical Breakdown Inspector, I've seen it all. The only reason I am even looking for a shop (instead of doing it myself) is because the vehicle is 1,000 miles away. read more

In town to help my daughter move back to California now that she graduated and she mentioned she needed an oil change on her vehicle. I did a yelp search and found Strictly Automotive. I called and was given the price for an oil change and they were very friendly and helpful, especially that they could get it in the next day which was necessary for our departure. They were able to get it done by 2pm and around noon they called to advise that we also needed to get a couple of other items done, but they were still able to get it all done by 2pm. When we arrived to pick it up they described what was done and how we should keep one item on our radar since the differential fluid was very dark and needed to be changed more often. Super helpful advice. We had a great experience here, the prices were reasonable and we feel like the car is ready for our trip back to California. read more

If you have time to waste this is the place. I made an appointment and then found out you have to write down what needs repaired and put your key through the door and call back later. WHAT, Waite in the parking lot, no chair to sit on, the reviews don't look too good, I think if they wanted your business they would put out a table and some chairs, No just dusty old parking lot with lots of construction all around you. and lots of homeless people walking around asking for money. Doesn't look too SAFE to me. I watch on U- tube the change-out of a serpentine belt, If I wasn't disabled with arthritis I could do it myself, it took the video less than 2 hours to do. I dropped my car off for an Oil Change at Strictly Automotive on 10/8/2020. When I made the appointment, I was originally told I would be spending around $80 for a full synthetic oil change and that they would do a noise inspection for a sound I was hearing near the front left of the Car. Originally when I made the appointment, I was told that they would be able to diagnose the noise with the price of the oil change. Now, after I was already there to drop the car off, Misty who is the Manager said it would be an additional $70 for the inspection on top of the price of the oil change. I was not happy about it and told her that, but I agreed. She did not offer any compensation or anything. After leaving the car there, I talked with her several times over the couple days of Strictly Automotive having my car. Every time I talked to her she seemed to want to keep my car longer and the price of services seemed to keep going up. At first she said I did not need an oil change, and then later on now said she wanted to do an oil change with additives because of smoke coming from the Exhaust pipe. By the end they wanted $400+ for a Noise inspection, tail pipe inspection, and an oil change with some additives to help the smoke from the exhaust. It seemed very shifty the way Misty went about it. I would not recommend Strictly Automotive and will continue to tell everyone I know. read more

I brought my car in around 8:30 AM and picked it up at 5 the same day. I recently brought my 94 Camry here because it was overheating. I dropped it off and explained what was going on the evening before it would be serviced. The next day I didn't hear from anyone so by 1pm I called to check in on the car. They said they were still working on it and they would call me. Around 4:30pm I get a call saying they topped all my fluids and replaced a taillight etc but didn't find a problem. They mentioned they didn't have a good description of the problem when dropped off. On too of this they charged me 120 dollars for the checkup and replacing bulb and fluids. I have never been to a place that does not quote me a price or ask me before they do something like replace a bulb that they will charge me for. I mentioned this so they got the price down to 107. However, I was still charged $107 for no answer in what's wrong. If my car was fine I could have ignored this... But here I am a week later stranded because my coolant is completely empty and I am now having to tow my car to a different shop. These guys mentioned maybe I had a slow leak but my coolant would not be empty in a matter of days if it was a "slow" leak. Feel like they must not have had time to look at it or something. Ultimately I feel like I got ripped off for nothing. I will not be returning here. Can't believe they have 5 stars on yelp. read more

(So I'm now writing my first Yelp review.) Over the course of diagnosing and repairing an intermittent engine misfire issue, Strictly was patient and transparent and competent. Best of all, they were unwilling to take my money until they were sure that they had determined the best and most efficient (read: least expensive) fix. I couldn't ask for better service than that, and since then I've taken the Outback and my 2009 Honda Civic back to Strictly for any needed service. Highest recommendation. read more

I'm really disappointed in the most recent service work they did, 10/26. I had the oil changed just a month ago by Grease Monkey; I typically use Strictly for the needed maintenance for the truck itself. It was due for the 135,000 mile checkup and my husband took it in. Hubby did not recall the oil change from September. They went and did one, despite the fact that the little sticker that every oil change I've ever had was right where it is obvious to anyone, there on the top left of the windshield. After they did the oil change, they removed the Grease Monkey sticker and replaced it with their own. Hubby is going to request a credit for the unnecessary oil change. I will keep all informed. Updated 11/7. They refused to refund the money misspent on the oil change. Two stars down to one. read more
