Burnt nuggets and cold fries for $12 bucks.

I've never ever had burnt nuggets from a McDonald's. Not ever in 30+ years. I usually wouldn't even bother writing a recommendation for a fast food establishment bc it is pretty standard, but this one place, at this location, for whatever reason, decided burnt food was OK to serve. And I waited at least 15 minutes and paid 12 bucks for burnt nuggets, cold fries and a coke. This location is a joke. Don't go here. Here's a pic if you don't believe me.

Food takes wayyyy too long especially for fast food. I did a mobile order drive thru and it took about 20 minutes.

The whole place runs like somebody's mama is standing in the back with a wooden spoon making sure everybody behaves. The hostess and the three different folks who wandered by our table all had smiles big enough to convince you they actually meant 'em, and they moved with the kind of purpose you usually only see when the preacher says "one more hymn" and everybody knows he's lying. The food? Seasoned just right and hot enough to make you sit up straight and remember your manners. It hit the table so fast I'm convinced they started cooking it when we pulled into the parking lot. The décor looked like somebody cared--special ordered, thoughtful, and not one inch of it threatening to slip into that baroque "my aunt went to Tijuana once" look some places can't resist. But the real star was the cleanliness. Floors, tables, corners--everything shining like a Marine's Sunday shoes. Robles is the kind of place that reminds you good food and good people still exist.

It only took a quick 10 minutes to receive our entire order, which was 3 burgers, a crispy fried chicken sandwich, loaded fries, and 2 milkshakes! I was very happy with how efficient the service was and the most important part, how delicious every bite was! The smashburgers are made with 100% halal beef and they come out HOT with perfectly crispy edges on the patties and a juicy center. We ordered 3 burgers and each of them stood out in their own way. You can get a single, double, or triple patty burger and add whatever toppings to it too. The jalapeño burger was the star of the show, it had a such a nice and spicy kick to it. I wasn't expecting much but this burger had HEAT! Another favorite was the Juicy Lucy. It was packed with grilled onions and the patty was stuffed with cheddar cheese. A super messy and cheesy option that was definitely worth every bite! I liked that Jon's Joint offered other options too such as loaded fries and fried chicken sandwiches. What I found unique is that for the loaded fries, you can get it with falafel and make it spicy! This time, they had run out of the falafel so I am excited to try it next time. If you're in Arlington and craving a casual burger spot, you need to go to Jon's Joint. You'll get quick service and a delicious meal!

You can tell the owner is really into Superheroes. I ordered the grilled chicken. The good thing is that it is cooked to order. Loved that. Downside, no seasoning, AT ALL. This would be fine, I understand dietary considerations with sodium. What had me perplexed was they had NO PEPPER in the entire restaurant. I've NEVER been at a restaurant that didn't have any pepper. Plenty of salt, seasoned salt and even more salt. No pepper. Burgers seem to be popular. Wasn't very crowded, but seemed popular by locals. It was a "meh" for me. I do however really like that the food is cooked to order.

It makes you feel like you are at a locally owned artist's studio that also serves food and has a bar everyone looks forward to seeing their friends. The staff and servers are extremely friendly and helpful and the place seems quite busy with regulars who love gathering together. Almost makes you want to be a local... The food is well cooked and served hot. I wished I could have tried a lot more of the menu... but it was a quick stop on the way home from a beach vacation. For such a small restaurant... there are a lot of seats and looks to be able to even host a large party of 15-20 on a long bench. The Gus burger was hearty, beef patty was thick and delicious... the fries are interesting... like a hybrid between a fry and potato chip. The onion rings are large and seem to have a funnel cake coating! Crispy and well fried. The French toast is thick and fluffy and the bread density is amazing! My daughter also enjoyed the bagel and cream cheese... The BLT is filled with beautiful pieces of ham and turkey... it's so hearty! If you live in the area or are driving through... make your way here!

Onion rings is what brings my review down. Heavy batter and a very slim onion. Onion needs to be thicker and juicier.
