The quality was McD usual, but the service is terrible. It wasn't very busy and the employees were scrambling to keep up. It took way too long for one person to place an order, and they were out of everything. A lady stood at the counter waiting to be acknowledged for 5 minutes or so. Everyone kept ignoring her, including 2 managers. Finally the overworked cashier stepped in to help. Also, no napkins or utensils were included with our order (which had oatmeal, so we needed a spoon). And there was no milk in our Happy Meal. read more

Today, I placed an order ahead for BREAKFAST at 10:20 before they stopped serving breakfast, I got caught in traffic and a lady in front of me at the speaker was taking forever to order, so I ended up getting checking in at 10:33, but when I got to the window there was no knowledge of my order at all, which I was confused cause I had paid, ordered and everything, I was told I couldn't get my already ordered order because I came after breakfast! My boyfriend went in there asking to call corporate when they refused us a exchange for lunch, and the manager and employee named Lyric laughed in his face and said "I'm so scared". This McDonald's is unprofessional, disgusting, and overall outrageous for the quality of food they're handing out. Multiple problems at this restaurant before. Very disappointing. Ordered a Big Mac, no lettuce. The sandwich had no sauce, 1 pickle, very dried minced onions, rubbery bun and 2 of the saddest little dried out patties, one with a slice of cheese, that I have ever witnessed. Since we are no longer in the vicinity of the restaurant, I could not go in to get a replacement or refund. This order was placed just as the lunch menu was posted, no reason for the quality of this burger other than a lack of care for good customer service. Wow! Worst McDonald's experience ever!! Just moved to Alvarado and will not be going back. Greeting entering the door was "You must use the kiosk, manager's orders" hollered at me. Good morning would have been better. (The restaurant was empty, so should have been a clue.) I assume the employee didn't notice the wrapping from my surgery on my hand. Probably unaware of ADA requirements to assist customers. Braved infection from touching screen. Unable to get cheese removed from egg mcmuffins on kiosk then had to deal with person at counter being put out taking my cash. First time to ever have staff group together look at me and roll their eyes. I assume the owner's are pressuring the manager to remove customer service preparing for automation systems. Besides, this is on an I-35 and major highway. They are focused on drive through. Close the dining area and save the constant complaints going back years. read more

My husband's iced coffee had a fly in it so we sent it back, then they gave him the wrong kind so we sent it back again, third time there was another fly in it so once again we sent it back, and the fourth time they didn't put any sweetener. Such a sad restaurant. Stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Keep in mind, I have two kids who work/worked for McD's, one was a manager, so we know how things are supposed to operate. Order taker had a good voice, but was lacking any kind of pleasant attitude, no "good morning", no "thank you", kind of dead. After ordering, there was just silence. We asked if she heard us and she said "yeah.". We pulled forward on our own. She must hate her job. At the first window, another employee tried to confirm our order and kept mumbling. We're still not sure what he said except the words "cinnamon rolls". At the pickup window, the third employee didn't seem to be thrilled to be there either, wearing her (optional) mask on her chin, not covering her nose or mouth. If you want to wear a mask, wear it or don't. We checked the receipt, and everything was correct. We should have checked the bag...we were shorted one item. We were heading to Denton, and couldn't take the time to go back, so I called the store to see if I could get the missing item later. Surprise! No one would answer the phone. There was only one other car in line, so it wasn't like they were busy!! I gave them two stars instead of just one, because the food was fast, fresh and tasty, but this McDonald's could be SO MUCH better if anyone cared. read more

Honestly I hate that I even still try to give this forsaken McDonald's a chance, but the one in Midlothian was closed at 10 on a Saturday(?) And I really wanted some McDonald's. I did an app order, which was already a pain since McDonald's app is the literal worst fast food app ever created. We tried to be penitent, I've worked fast food a lot and the people in front of us ordered 40 spicy mcchickens, so I get it. But it literally took nearly an hour for our food. Now I don't mind a wait, especially if it means good food. However every burger was thrown together haphazardly, with sauce all over the inside and outside of the wrapper. Nothing had the usual label on it, there were onions stuck to the top of every burger even when the burger didn't have onions on it. My fries were not fresh, not really cold, but most definitely not warm either. Unsalted as well, so that was a let down. They did throw in an extra burger we didn't order, I'm sure it was an accident, but we didn't eat it because the patty was literally burnt so bad. Then to top it off we ordered Buffalo and ranch with our food, double checked before we left and it wasn't in there, so we asked to get some and the man in the window said "if you ordered it then it's in the bag" with complete disregard that it wasn't even in the bag. Like dude I just sat here for an hour, give me the freakin sauce so I can go home and eat. Just really disappointed, I know it's a smaller town, and there aren't many other options. But I've been to McDonald's that were 10x busier in Arlington and always get food that's better than this. Ridiculous that my mcchicken was sloppier than a sloppy Joe. read more

I did a curbside pick up with the mobile app. I got there could barely get around because there was a line going out onto the highway. well, I finally get around and I put that I'm there a kid had came up and told me that they were out of lemonade and asked me if I wanted something else so I told him sprite. Well, I proceeded to sit in my vehicle for another 30 minutes, so I got out of my vehicle went inside and I was nice the first time he told me that he was working on my order I was like OK that's fine so then I go sit back in my vehicle and I proceeded to wait another 15 minutes and so I got out again and I stood there for about 10 minutes before he even acknowledged me and he asked me what I had and for me to pull it up which at the time I didn't know that I could pull it back up so I was like I don't have it anymore. I've been waiting for over an hour because at that point, I had been waiting over an hour then you have people standing at the register and the manager tried to make it look like she was working, but she kept stopping and going to talk to her family that was there. My nuggets were undercooked and I'm pretty sure they were old. Just all around a terrible McDonald's which I mean I don't expect to get a five-star restaurant when I come here but the service is terrible. Worst experience ever! Have to say my order multiple times and she still got it wrong. Going up to pay said they had no drpepper only cola, sprite, and water so I ordered cola. Get to the next window and then they say no cola so I just got water and then pulled up to wait for our order. After 30 minutes of waiting she came out with half our order. While I was trying to tell her we were missing food she just was texting on her phone not even paying attention to me. She said they were out of the chicken sandwiches (I ordered 2) so I asked for 4 dollar menu sandwiches. She then started arguing about us not having enough money to pay for the dollar menu sandwiches even though the food we already payed for was $4 a piece the dollar menu would have evened out. They took about didn't take too long to give us out breakfast, but the people making coffees did not seem to know what they're doing. I have been fishing lake Alvarado for the last 6 weeks and have been getting my breakfast there every weekend morning. This morning(9/12/20) at 5:45a I get there and the woman starts taking my order as normal only break in the middle of it to say I have a trailer on my truck. To be fair she was right. An 8 foot long trailer, not some big contractor trailer which I'm sure was the intent of their little sign. She then said I had to come inside. I asked why it was alright for the last 6 weeks. Then she said she can't help me and shut the speaker off. That's it conversation was over. So needless to say we were done there and went across the street to Whataburger to get my breakfast and they weren't offended in the least with my tiny little trailer. read more
