The manager of this McDonald's should be fired immediately. They are hiring people that cannot handle the job there. I've been here many times. I am an Antioch resident unbelievable. How they mess. The orders up can't produce the food in any timely fashion and when you question them about it most of them don't even speak English and can answer your question the productivity board that shows your order being processed says your order is being served 20 minutes later you might get lucky and get it. Order BN82 -- both 4-piece chicken nuggets were missing from the order. I called to explain the issue, and at first the employee insisted I received everything I ordered. After I clarified, she said, "You can come today or tomorrow." I explained that a similar issue happened recently with a McGriddle, and when I came back the next day, no one had any record of it. At this point, she just hung up on me. I'm a frequent customer at this location, but when there's a mistake, the way it's handled is disappointing. This is more for the corporation, but since this is the location at which I ate this, my last McD's meal - this is where I'm placing my comment. The service - as I've stated above - is pretty decent for a fast-food joint. The food - for good or bad, is of course what keeps me coming back. But no more. I just spent more than $10 on a nugget meal. When I heard the price, I should've laid rubber getting out of there, but I didn't. Given wrong change at drive up window( $20 ), told to sit in the waiting spot for 20 minutes (without any change back still). At which point I went into store and demanded I get my change back, and when the lady came back with the change, no receipt, and no food, I asked for a refund, as it has already been 25 minutes. Didn't get my order right. Missing some items in the bag. When I told them I'm missing some item I was told I did not order it. I told them what I ordered and they keep insisting no. I repeated again but they keep insisting no. How many times I have to repeat myself? Then finally she (the one who took my order) handed me the item and said "here! Go! Have a nice day!" Very rude! Ok. 3rd time in a row earns a Yelp review. This location has a serious problem giving me fresh French fries. Heck... I'd settle for slightly warm. The fries have been either cold, or old enough that they are grainy. I'm thinking they make a ton for their rushes and wind up with too many left over? Like best case of the last three visits they've been luke warm (but still grainy and less than fresh). Possibly just sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. The service is average to slightly below average but I'm less bothered by that than having inedible fries. After years of generally sub-standard service, I'm finally getting around to writing this after this morning's incident (a little after 6am local time). I'm not just an angry and disappointed customer, I'm a former McD employee (different store, different state, different decade) who was actually proud of my job and how well I did it. I worked all shifts and positions in the store over six years, including as a shift manager. Back to this morning: the young woman working drive-thru came on the speaker with a monotone "Can I help you?" No greeting, no intonation in her voice of being pleased to help someone. When I finally got to the window (slow, slow service as others have indicated), she gave me the total in a monotone voice. No smile. Just stuck out her hand. I handed her my exact change, and, unsuprisingly, didn't receive a "Thank you." Rather, it was as if I was inconveniencing her. (Oh, while waiting to get to the window, I noticed her drinking her own coffee at the register... this was a BIG NO-NO and a health code violation when I worked. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't these days, but your server shouldn't be eating/drinking at the same time they're working with customers, IMO.) So I pull ahead to the next window - at least the woman working there smiled as she handed me my order (although they forgot the receipt - another no-no). I called the manager to let her know what had happened on this visit, and she promised to speak to the first employee. Whether that happens... I can only guess. A few weeks ago, on a busy Saturday morning, I chose to come inside to order instead of waiting in the backed-up double drive-thru lines. After noticing people were waiting quite a while for food after placing their orders, I mentioned to the shift manager, "Just wanted to let you know that you have a huge backup in drive-thru also, and you might want to make sure they drop (cook) more food." The manager snipped something at me, can't remember exactly, but it was more of an attitude of, "Whatever, I don't need your input." Okaaayyy... just trying to help. After waiting over 5 minutes for my breakfast sandwich, I was finally able to leave. I saw vehicles in the DT line that were there when I went in, so they were just as slow. People always give working fast-food a bad rap. Honestly, people, it is one of the BEST jobs a high-schooler can have. TRAINED PROPERLY, it teaches you customer service. It teaches you how to deal with difficult people. It teaches you efficiency. You learn money-handling skills (how to count back properly, etc.) A job is what you make of it, and I try to impress this on my children. Go into a job with a lousy attitude, and the job is lousy. Go into a job with a great attitude, and you can have a lot of fun even if the work isn't that great. Entry-level, minimum wage jobs are meant to be a stepping stone, not a career. Take advantage of the opportunity you have while working here - learn those skills, become a great provider of customer service, and you will go far in life when you take those valuable skills on to the next job, and the next one after that. Part of the problem at this store has always been management - I've been brushed off and been rude to by management, and that carries over to the employees. I think Training, of both management and employees, is a big issue. Another issue with this store is it's location/setup. It simply isn't set up to handle the volume of traffic it receives, which contributes to many of the issues. They made some improvements with the recent remodel, but overall it still is just plain awkward. The interior layout is odd, and I can only imagine trying to work the DT delivery window with that wierd configuration with the coffee/latte station setup. Will I stop here again? Likely, if there's no line in DT. But it certainly isn't my first choice of fast-food in Antioch these days, and if there are more than 3 cars in DT, I skip it completely. read more

The slowest McDonald's ever. Honestly it's like waiting for paint to dry, it is so painful waiting here. Their double drive thru is a great idea but they cannot come close to handle the customer traffic. If you are in line for a drink or a burger, you are better off going across the street to Burger King or Taco Bell. Hell, you are better off going to KFC. What is going on with this McDonalds? It's as though the concept of a drive-thru is brand new to them. I pulled into the right-hand drive-thru lane because there was already a car in the left lane. As I waited, three additional cars pulled into the left lane and ordered. Then, the voice in the speaker said, "I'll be right with you" and took the order from the left lane. What the heck? I'm a patient person, but I found myself irritated by the lack of a process to ensure first-come, first-served ordering. I attributed my irritation to a lack of caffeine and carried on. I finally ordered an Egg McMuffin, a plain cheeseburger, and a Diet Coke. The woman taking the order said that the Egg McMuffins were on sale and asked if I wanted two. She talked me into it... I'd bring the extra one home to my dog and gain an edge in the ongoing battle with my husband to be the dog's favorite person. After sitting in the drive-thru line for 15 minutes, I confirmed at the payment window that the order contained a plain cheeseburger. "Oops," the window girl said, and then promised to correct it. At the pick-up window, I again confirmed that the cheeseburger was plain. Oops again! The woman at the window disappeared to get a plain cheeseburger, handed me the bag, and then disappeared again. Meanwhile, I waited to remind her that the Diet Coke at the window was also mine. When I got home, the bag contained an "unplain" cheeseburger, a McChicken sandwich, and a single Egg McMuffin. In the interest of fairness, my dog had no complaints about receiving a McChicken sandwich instead of an Egg McMuffin. But geez, what a poorly managed "fast" food restaurant. I used to work at this McDonalds, but when it was at its old location across from the post office. Yes, I know I'm old, let's move on. There are many reasons not to like this place, some of which I'll state here. First of all, they are decidedly anti-youth. This of course, doesn't stop teenagers and pre-teens from hanging out in and around the restaurant, so the vibe can be pretty ugly. Next up, the management was (and possibly still is) awful. I remember one faithful evening, I had to clean up a bunch of broken eggs that were frozen to the bottom of the walk-in freezer. I later learned that they were there, because there was a brief egg fight between managers. They also hated the fact that my father had custody of my brother and I every other weekend. And let's end things on the note that McDonald's food sucks. Bring back the Hardee's that used to be on this site. read more

I did mobile ordering to be told I have to pay at the window first then not when I already paid on the app. Then told a menu item that's all day and paid for isn't all day. Your employees tried to hand me someone else's order first. Parts of my order forgotten and then when handed them they were dropped on the floor and I was given no apology and told " you want that". Your store has ZERO customer service and no one was friendly what so ever. The iced coffees I ordered tasted more like water and no flavor. I have been to this McDonald's a lot, being that I have been living in Antioch for about 14 years. This morning I was there between 7 and 7:30am. The drive-through with mega long so I went inside. I was the only one in there waiting to be helped, there were three other guys waiting for their food. I waited and waited, and was never created, nor asked if I can wait a moment or anything. During the time I was there, I watch the manager yell at one of the employees. She was an older lady, she has taken my order in the past, and has messed it up in the past. I also witnessed that same older lady, cough all over her hands and grab a cup around the rim to fill it with a drink. After standing there for about eight minutes, still not being addressed, I watched her cough even harder on her hands and grab another cup. At that point I walked out and went across the street to Burger King. I don't think that I can go to this McDonalds again. I meant to tap one star, but it won't let me take one off. read more

Consistently the slowest McDonalds drive-through I've ever been to and I travel for a living and have been to McDonalds all over the country. The line is always huge and the last 4 times I've been here I've been asked to pull over in the parking lot and wait for someone to bring out my meal. A sausage McMuffin with hash browns. They have to ask me to pull over and wait for one of their simplest breakfast sandwiches. FOUR times in a row! I hope the manager can get this under control because I come to McDonalds for speed not good food. If they can't do that then I'll go somewhere else. If I could give this location zero stars, I would without question. The service at this location is horrific. When I order 2 sausage mcmuffins with egg and 1 without, that doesnt mean I order 2 sandwiches, it means 3 sandwiches. They couldn't comprehend it. Many times have I gone to this location (simply out of commuting convenience) and every-time I say I'm never coming back I end up doing so, and getting frustrated as a result everytime. When into the location today with my grandson to eat before I took him to school it was approximately 1115 when we arrived After we ordered we proceeded into the children's area where both doors leading in and out of play area to tables in the kid areas was covered with a broom dustpan mop and mop bucket and sign... I took a picture. When I showed it to the manager she kind of shook her head now it's 10 minutes to 12 the stuff should definitely not be in the way during lunch when there's a perfectly good corner it could have been in instead of the doorway. Then the employee when I got back from showing the manager she was arguing with another lady that was in there telling her she shouldn't leave or stuff like that out with kids I agreed with that person and told her she should have it in the corner or one take 1 item out at a time. That there are kids here and they shouldn't be around that stuff she proceeded to argue with me saying this is my job.. I don't think it's your job at 11 50 is what I said.
