Stopped in coming through town. Kiosks would take a full order but not accept payment. Stood at counter for about 10 minutes, could not get anyone to acknowledge our existence. Even if they came to the counter for something else they carefully avoided eye contact and didn't offer to help. Unable to place an order here, business not wanted I suppose. read more

Drive thru very congested. Went inside. Lots of Customers from Out of State or the UK. Seemed to be driving from the W Coast to the E Coast.(St Rd 70). Well, it's season in Fla. It's Good for our economy. Very friendly employees, efficient. Practically no wait. Very clean and seems Freshly Remodeled. Got Fresh, hot coffee and plain comforting oatmeal. I have NEVER been to a better McDonald's. Seriously, I was floored by my visit. The service was sooo friendly, polite and efficient. There are fresh flowers on the tables. It was CLEAN. And the food was obviously made by someone who cares about their job! It looked good, and tasted so good! And they even came back over to check our meal was good! We need more of these! This location is absolutely ridiculous. The slowest McDonalds I have been to in some time. I went in to make a take out order and it took over 20 minutes to get three sausage egg and cheese mcmuffins. Seriously it supposed to be fast food. Great service. We use take out only due to COVID-19. McDonalds is always consistently very good food. We even ate at McDonalds in Vietnam and it tasted just like in the states. Drive thru is very busy at lunch but we wait till after 1:00. read more

Everytime I visit this McDonalds I always feel Welcome by a very friendly management and crew. The manager (Wendel I believe his name is) goes way Over and Beyond at customer service! I have rarely EVER seen a manager ANYPLACE that regularly hand delivers orders to customers seated in the dining room. I walked into this McDonald's to fill up my water mug. I'm on a diet and off sugar. And I don't drink sugar-free drinks either. So I only needed water. As I was heading to the Water dispenser - Located next to the soda dispensers, I was pounced upon by a tall female employee, with an angry expression who told me in a scolding voice that I had to pay for my drink before I take it. I started to tell her I was just getting WATER. She repeated herself angrily two more times before I could SAY ANYTHING to her! Finally I said, "I'm talking too. You're not the only one who's talking." She finally got the hint and allowed me to speak. So, I told her I was just coming to get water and I would naturally pay for a drink if I planned to get a drink. I assumed she would concede and maybe ask me to excuse her previous actions. She remained angry, however, with a scolding demeanor and told me the lobby was closed! I said, "but the door is open I just walked in And there are no signs indicating the lobby is closed." She angrily responded, "that's for the bathrooms!" Again scolding, frowning expression from her. I am just driving through this town. I just need to fill my water mug. this mcdonald's is a shit hole! went there one night at 12 am!!!!! sat in the drive through at the screen for 10 minutes and then eventually pulled up to the window and sat for another 10 minutes!!! i pulled around again and finally got someone to take my order after 25 minutes of hassle and had to wait another 15 minutes for the food! get this place together or get outta town! read more

If I could give them negative stars I would so manager takes my order I use the app for a daily deal then she tells me they don't have 20ps nuggets any more when they clearly do and wouldn't adjust it when she messed up the order there is allways a issue here I go there when am desperate and regret it every time!!! read more

I've been a long time customer unfortunately due to this being the only McDonald's in DeSoto county. Boy does this franchise really let you know how much your business is valued. The usual response when you pull up to the speaker is often "What you want?!", followed by a deep sigh and a very sassy attitude. Then when you pull up to receive your food, and they have the audacity to refuse you sauce unless you pay an extra 35 cents per sauce packet. Every other fast food establishment is more than willing to give the customer a few sauce packets at least, but to charge 35 cents extra at the second window after I've already payed with my card is just annoying for me and everyone else in line behind me that now has to wait for the worker with an attitude to charge me $1.05 for three sauce packets. Then when you do decide to pay for the sauce packets, the workers will spite you by handing you the wrong sauces and giving you a smile and mumbling "f*** you" as you drive away. And if you think talking to the managers will got you anywhere then you're in for a surprise because they don't care. The managers have been there for years and have only let the franchise continue to plummet in quality. I have only felt the need to call and talk to a manager about three times ever in the past 10 years, and each time I got the exact same answer in a snarky attitude, "What you want me to do about it?", which is then usually followed by "Well theirs nothing we can do bye." Just remember that if you ever plan to go to the McDonalds in Arcadia expecting a happy meal, it'll probably be a crappy meal. read more

They just (within the past year) remodeled this place but did nothing to improve the entrance being in the drive-thru. The entrance being there is not only awkward, it is very unsafe. There is not enough seating for as busy as this place is. I, for one, will never go back because of the lousy design. read more

the morning staff is great and moving when Darlene don't know her last name is there. Other than that it's horrible. The wait in the drive thru is horrible. There's always employees in the afternoon playing around, wearing sweaters over their uniform which makes them look sloppy. I refuse to park my car anymore for them to meet their time quota in the drive thru. Our McDonalds needs less childish and more efficient employees.
