Really good drive through ordering kiosk exchange. Server was very pleasant and nice. Pick up window was equally as friendly and nice. However, that's where it ends... after opening my sandwich a 1/4 of the top of the biscuit was gone... maybe they feed it to the rats? I don't think so as the place looked fairly clean. However the food presentation, without a doubt SUCKS!!! You want to get paid $15.00 an hour? Try to make the product look like the items on the menu! No excuse. read more

Passing through & was very pleasantly surprised. This is the cleanest McDonald's I have been to in a long time. Tables were clean & so were the bathrooms. Even the Play Place was clean & well kept. I noticed an employee sweeping & cleaning. Will stop here again the next time I travel. read more

Customer service sucks and don't listen to orders I ordered a big mac meal and fish filet meal only received the big mac meal and a fish filet sandwich the sandwiches were dry as a cotton ball and they stomped their toe in the salt for the fries I don't recommend eating there ever. read more

Totally disgusting. Ordered 3 plain cheeseburgers, none is them were plain. The fries didn't appear to be fully cooked. The indoor playground area was covered in flies and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in several weeks. We stopped here on our way home from Florida so our kids could stretch a little before driving the rest of the way to KY. The following day, both children have diarrhea (sorry) and one kid puking. Imagine my surprise when I came to the Yelp page for this McD's and found 5 star reviews. My experience was the complete opposite end of the spectrum. We came on a Sunday afternoon at about 1:00. I assume lunch rush as the only things there are here in Ardmore, AL are fast food, so we stopped in the Drive Thru. Speed, not to bad there. But then we opened the bag and it all went down hill. One (the cardinal sin at McDonald's) the fries were cold. Ok, maybe a little warm, but not hot and clearly past the holding time they are supposed to keep in the warmer. (I worked 6 years at a McD's in high school and college, so I will admit to being highly critical of McD's food quality.) We were already on the road, so we didn't turn around. We should have. I ate my fries figuring that if I ate the sandwich first the fries would be completely cold which if you have had cold McD's fries, you know they are disgusting. Then we opened the sandwiches. To the store's credit, they got the special orders for the kids correct. Nothing worse than a kid who ordered a plain cheeseburger and gets ketchup or something on it... except maybe cold fries... sorry, one track mind. As for the adult sandwiches, they completely missed the mark... with the dressing. See the attached picture of my wife's fish sandwich. Memo to staff: tartar sauce goes in the center of the bun... not the side of the box. Mine (sorry no pic) was ketchup out one side, and plain on the other. Whoever was dressing sandwiches needed to have their glasses re-calibrated because they were clearly shooting wide-right. So to sum up, speed pretty good. Quality, poor. Maybe I was there on a bad day... but it was a pretty bad day. The moral of the story... taste your fries before you drive off. And open your sandwiches. My apologies to all the other McD's that I now won't trust and all those drivers behind me who will have to wait extra time for my quality inspection of my order. read more

I had a very negative experience this afternoon at this McDonalds. It began with an off duty McDonalds employee coming into the restaurant with two ver small children. She was loud and rude in the lobby and made it very clear she worked there. She stated that no one will be rude to her and she worked there but was going to another restaurant. Her behavior was nothing short of obnoxious! She intimidated the other staff in the restaurant. She was trying to place her order- yelling at her kids when a gentleman who had ordered at the drive thru came in to ask about his food that he ordered and paid for 30 minutes prior. The poor McDonald's employee trying to wait on the off duty obnoxious employee had to excuse herself to see about the gentleman's order. The off duty employee then said, I will finish the order myself and went around to the register. It was at this point, that I decided to leave without receiving my food. If I were the manager of this restaurant, the off duty employee would no longer be employed at the restaurant. She misrepresented the restaurant and the employees. She was very much a bully to her fellow employees who were trying their best to care for the customers. These employees definitely had a very bad day and this woman made it so much worse. read more

If I was the Manager of this McDonald's would probably get fired for having such a dirty business. I visited there on January 29,2020 Wednesday, this week just to get a chicken snack meal. It took such a long time to get my order, I observed the entire store, the floors were not only dirty from trash on the floor,there was mud everywhere and lots of employees just standing around. Tell me no one was taught how to sweep?? If I had been the Health Dept. I probably would have shut you down for the nasty floors and tables.. You should have more respect for your business! You just better get your act together!! read more

Disappointed to say the least. On the Yelp app and Apple Maps and a google search, it appears this McDonald's is open until 1:00 am. They all say that. Pulled up at 12:25 to workers taking out the trash and an unresponsive drive thru window. If you close before 1:00 am, that's totally fine but make your customers aware. It's disappointing that something so simple can't be relayed to loyal McDonald's customers. read more
