The Scandinavian almond cupcake is a bit sweet for me but has a strong almond flavor. You can find a variety of local food , Scandinavian, and other gifts at the store too. It's a nice place to get a gift on the way to visiting someone. They have dairy products and other perishables as well. There's some outdoor seating at the store and the abundance of flowers outside was a nice touch. I guess, hence, the Kitchen Garden... Service was friendly and helpful. I wished they had some limpa or Finnish rye, but I came pretty late in the day. Maybe I'll try the ice cream sometime, though it's from Bliss over in Attleboro, which is closer to Boston. I chose a fancy iced coffee with chocolate and lavender. Both were delicious. The bagel was perfectly toasted and nicely presented in a paper container. I sat in the window area. This terrific little breakfast was only $7.50 before tax! I plan to return tomorrow for a lunch sandwich. I feel very grateful to have a fun spot for coffee, tea, smoothies, and light fare in the town.
